In response to the concern submitted to your website, ID *** we would like to address the issuesraised and show that we are not at fault for any damage and explain why the customer owes the invoicedamount. The customer asserts that no repairs were made, although we firmly believe that the
tightening the looseconnection in the switch at the top of the basement stairs corrected the problemAdditionally, a circuitbreaker was installed in the electric panel to correct an overloaded circuit issue, which the customer doesnot disputeLabor costs are associated with each of these activities, which are both billableIt bears toreiterate that the customer never called to report that the repairs had stopped working and that he wasunable to explain what he did to supposedly fix the problem. In respect to damages alleged by the customer, our electrician was in the customer’s attic to locate ajunction boxThere was loose cardboard, as shown in the picture below, provided by the customer withthe initial complaint. This is not consistent with the work that was explained and appears to be sagging only because of a loose staple or the cardboard getting dry or brittle over timeAnother picture provided by the customerindicates that the conditions of the home are the reason for the loose insulation, not anything ourelectrician did during his service call. A third picture (below) was also sent by the customer, but it is unclear what the intent was. We expect this invoice to be paid in full immediately or further action may be takenWe do not acceptany responsibility for the alleged damages to the customer’s homeYou may call our office at *** *** to discuss further, if neededThank you for your role in resolving this matter.Respectfully,*** ** ***President, Wood Electric, Inc

In response to wood electric's message I received in the mail on June 30th regarding claim I* ***In April I called wood electric about a circuit in my house that would stopworking, then after a period of time it would start working againI asked them to send someone to fix that problemThey sent someone out and the employee never fixed my problemThey retied some wires together in a light switch box, damaged some of the ceiling board in my attic causing a hole in my ceilingWhich is still not fixed, I patched it the best I couldThen they leftA couple days after they left the circuit stopped working again, just like before. On or around June 19' wood electric sent out *** ***hHe and I talked for some time about this case, unfortunately he was not able to resolve this matter.I don't believe I owe anything to wood electric since no one from their company fixed the electrical problem that was causing one of my circuits to stop workingI also believe that wood electric should repair the damage to my house caused by their negligenceObviously, since the employee didn't fix the electrical problem that I had, and damaged my house in the process, I didn't want someone from wood electric coming back out when the power from the circuit that was supposed to be repaired during their visit stopped working again a couple days later.I keep being told by wood electric that they would have to spend several hours fixing an intermittent problem that I fixed in about five minutesI just wish that during my initial call to wood electric that they would have told me thisIf I would have been told on the phone when I first called them that since I had an intermittent problem "there would have been no way our electrician would have found the other issue without spending several hours" I would certainly have said goodbye at that point and called someone elseEspecially if I would have been told that they would bill me whether the problem was fixed or not.At no time during the original phone call I placed to wood electric or during the first visit when their employee came out was I told that an intermittent problem would take several hours for them to diagnose and if it wasn't fixed after they left, I would be billed anyway. Since this is going nowhere, I am going to get estimates for the damage they did to my houseLike I said the hole is still in my ceiling and I will not be having construction damage fixed by an electrician.I have included written statements from my wife and sonThank you for your help in this matter.Respectfully,*** *** ***

*** ** *** visited your home on Monday, June in an attempt to rectify the on-going issue you have with ourservice and the billyou receivedOut of fairness to you, we decided to haveanotherset ofeyes look intotheissueto see if we were actually missing a piece of information or anything additional that we needed to be made awareof.** indicated that he met with you and walked through every issue you had reportedHe said the ceiling issue wasnot an actual "hole" in your ceiling as you indicated previouslylt was where the cardboard had come loose fromwhere it was stapled*l indicated that we would/could send someone to attach it properly and you did not wanthim to do thatYou told him that vou had fixed it vourself because vou did not want an electrician to fix thecardboard. The original service call was placed to trouble shoot and repair the circuit for your garage which had stoppedworkingWe know that you had already replaced the breaker and it was still not workingOur electrician arrivedat your home and, after doing trouble shooting and investigating, found a loose connection on the circuit and alsodiscovered that the circuit was overloadedAdditionally, the circuit in question powers not only your garage butmicrowave, basement stairs and apparently, your living roomThis is not circuitingHe installed a newbreakerWhen he left, EVERYTHING WAS WORKINGThe issue came AFTER our elecrician was thereYouindicated that it stopped worklng after a couple daysUnfortunately, as ** told you at his visit, because it was anintermittent problem there would have been no way our electrician would have found the other issue withoutspending several hoursHe would have had to test every circuit and every switch and outlet to determine theissue was coming from an outlet in your living roomlt would be similar to having a leak in your roof and havingsomeone come out to repair itlf the initial call was for a leak that was happening in your kitchen and it wasrepaired but the next day you have the same issue in another part of your home there is no way the repair personwould have known without checking the entire roof. Our electrician repaired the initial issue and it was working when he leftlf you would have let us know that itstopped working after the couple days, we could have returned to do a more thorough investigation.Unfortunately, you did not let us know.It is for the above reasons that our invoice has been determined to be accurate and should be paid in fullimmediately
