This letter is in response to the complaint that was recently received by our department in regards to the package sent by *** *** *** and submitted to your department by *** *** ***The package was sent to Colombia by *** *** on March *,and it arrived at its destination on
March **,When *** *** sent the package she reported to the attendant that the TV was used and that it was worth $(two hundred dollars)Therefore, she only payed the insurance in accordance with the price she stated the TV was worthJust like *** ***, all of our customers have to read and agree to our company's policy before the package gets sentAll packages are carefully handled from the time it's received to the moment it gets deliveredOne of our company's rules states that the sender, in this case *** ***She is responsible of making sure her belongings are packed and taped properly and that we are not liable for scratches, dents or broken itemsThe company clearly explained that to *** *** and she agreed to it by signingOur company truly cares about its customers and takes every single one of them very seriousOur main goal is to maintain a good and healthy business relationshipAfter the previously stated situation and even though the customer read and agreed to our policy, the company's management took time to conduct a meeting where the company's officials agreed to provide *** *** $200.oo (two hundred dollars), which is the amount she insured and reported the TV to be worth at the moment she visited our officeWe are always willing to work with our customers in fairly manner that satisfies both parties.

I would like to offer an apology to this customer if he feels his concerns were not heard. We do care a great deal about our customers’ satisfaction. Our proven track record of providing replacement parts under warranty is part of the reason we have such excellent customer feedback....

The customer contacted us regarding a bent log stripper. We have only had two or three reports of this component breaking over the last few years. In each case, it was clearly operator error. Specifically, the operators allowed a log to drop behind the back edge of the wedge but continued to retract the rod. This exerts a huge force on the log knock-off. The knock-off is designed to push split pieces of sticky wood off the blades, and it is over-built for its intended purpose. Nevertheless, it is not indestructible.I asked this customer to submit photos of the broken part for us to review. If it determined to be a manufacturing defect, we will gladly provide a replacement under warranty.
