Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I cannot accept excuses for bad business dealings from a company that continues to cite people parking in their lot, in good faith with the intention of paying their parking fee honestlyIf there is another company collecting this company's parking fees, then the issue is between this company and the other one -- not with paying customers who do the right thing by paying for parking. It seems that the problem lies with this company and whoever took my parking payment without questionPer their admission, this isn't a new problem--something they don't seem to care about rectifyingTheir reputation is soured by more than just this customer, because they refuse to do what is right and either correct the misrepresentation at the lot, and/or fix the situation with the company they claim is taking their parking feesEither way, someone is stealing parking payments and issuing citations under fraudulent appearances. The customer is the victim, not the parking company(ies)
Sincerely,

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel changeI respectfully submit my response to the referenced complaintUnfortunately, the customer didn't include the original violation notice number and/or the vehicle license plate.
Additional information that would be helpful could include the parking location or lot number, the approximate time of day the notice was issued, vehicle make or color, etc. If the customer can provide the information I would be happy to do additional research. I does appear, however, that the customer admits to parking over the line. And while the customer says he had no alternative; the customer always has an alternative option to not park in the lot. We are not out to scam people out of money; the notice signs are clearly posted as is required by the City of Seattle. Our company has not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel changeI respectfully submit my response to the referenced complaintUnfortunately, the notes in our system do not indicate that any communication or proof of parking payment was
received. We have photos clearly showing the vehicle's dash (where the receipt was required to have been placed) and the receipt is not visible. We consider the matter closed appropriatelyOur company has not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel changeI respectfully submit my response to the referenced complaintThe signs are clearly posted as is required by the City of Seattle. It's unfortunate that the customer didn't see the
sign. It is our experience that no matter how many signs get posted or how large the format, someone misses somethingOur company has not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel changeI respectfully submit my response to the referenced complaintUnfortunately, the customer did not include the original violation notice number and/or the vehicle license plate
information. With that information I would be happy to review the situation. Occasionally, a license plate will be entered incorrectly into our system and it's just a matter of confirming that the information is incorrect to facilitate a change and remove the incorrect customer's name and addressOur company has not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation

February 20, 2018 Re: Complaint ID *** *** *** I respectfully submit my response to the above referenced complaint. It’s unfortunate that this customer rejects our responseThis customer paid the City of Seattle for parking and did not pay International Parking ManagementThe receipt this customer has is for paying the City of SeattleThis customer does not have a receipt for paying International Parking Management for parking on 1/22/18.The similar stories that this customer is finding are statements from other individuals who too paid the wrong pay stationOur company has not used any poor business practices in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation. Thank you,Victoria International Parking Management

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel change. I respectfully submit my response to the referenced complaint. The signs stating the parking rules and clearly identifying the violation fees are posted near the payment station and...

throughout the lot.  They are properly posted as is required by the City of Seattle with our parking license.  The signs state that all parking must be paid in advance.  In order to respond to this customer's specific violation notice, I would need additional information.  The notice number would be perfect, however, I understand that significant time has elapsed.  Had the customer included that in the original complaint it would have been helpful.  I have researched the violation notices issued at that lot on that day and could possible identify the notice number if the customer could provide additional information such as the approximate time of day the customer parked, the color at least but maybe type of vehicle.  Regardless, the violation notice was issued appropriately and is valid.  The signage is clearly posted; we do not 'take advantage of people'. Our company has not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation.

February 14, 2018  Attn: Jim M[redacted]Attorney General of Washington’s [email protected]    Re: File # [redacted] I respectfully submit my response to the above referenced complaint. On the day in question, [redacted] purchased parking...

using a pay station located on the sidewalk for public parking through the City of Seattle. Unfortunately, [redacted] failed to see the 2 pay stations in the middle of the lot, the ‘Pay Here’ sign located above the pay stations, and the ‘Pay Here’ sign with a directional arrow below the rate information at the entrance of the lot. As [redacted] paid the City of Seattle for parking on 1/22/18 and not IPM, violation [redacted] was properly issued for No Advance Payment.  [redacted] submitted an appeal online on 1/23/18. The violation was responded to and closed on 1/29/18. The Appeal Result Letter was emailed to the email address provided by [redacted] when he created the appeal informing him of the outcome. In his follow up statement to this complaint, [redacted] stated IPM would not allow him to access his account. This is simply not true as there is no account. All unpaid violations can be viewed at any time on our violations website by entering the license plate or violation number. Only when the violation is paid can it no longer be viewed online. [redacted] paid the original violation fee of $45 plus a $4 processing fee online on 2/4/18. Our company has not used any poor business practices in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation. Thank you,  Victoria Violations DepartmentInternational Parking Management

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel change. I respectfully submit my response to the referenced complaint. The violation notice was issued because the customer did not have the parking pass clearly displayed while...

parked.  The parking rules are clear and all customers are aware.  At this location, because passes are issued quarterly and we understand varying travel schedules, we offer the first two weeks of the quarter as a grace period.  I can appreciate that the customer was traveling for three weeks.  However, the customer was well aware of the policy as this was the second notice issued for the same violation.  Unfortunately, we have experienced some customers attempting to share one parking pass.  Therefore, the policy must be that the parking pass is clearly displayed with the vehicle is parked.  If the customer was going to be out of town during the transition, it was the customer's responsibility to make alternate arrangements to get the pass displayed.  The violation notice is/was valid. Our company has not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation.

I respectfully submit my follow-up response to the above referenced complaint.Without more information (violation notice number, location, vehicle license plate), it's impossible to determine with 100% certainty what occurred.  I can guess, however, that the customer parked in a surface lot...

that we manage across the street from Pike Place Market and actually paid the City of Seattle parking meter.  The pay meters for the private surface lot are inside the lot and the meters for the City street parking are on the sidewalk next to the curb.  My guess is based on the customer's statement:  On the back of the receipt it states how to put the receipt if the car is parallel parked, angled parking, motorcycles but on the front it says receipt valid only if displayed properly.  Our receipts to not say that on the reverse side, particularly the information regarding parallel and angled parking.  The result is the customer used our parking facility and did not pay the correct company.  It would be the same as eating dinner at [redacted] but paying [redacted].  The signs are clearly posted regarding the violation fees that will be assessed for not paying in advance.  The violation notice was issued appropriately.  The fee was due and the fee has been paid.  IPM considered this matter closed in September, 2016.  Our company has not used any poor business practices in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation.

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel change. I respectfully submit my response to the referenced complaint. Unfortunately, additional information such as the customer's vehicle license plate and/or the violation notice number would...

be needed to research to particulars. I'm happy to do so if the information is available.  The customer does indicate their tires were over the line.  That would mean the violation notice is valid and the fees were due.  Our company does not make a practice of fining, harassing or extorting money from customers.  We have not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation.

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel change. I respectfully submit my response to the referenced complaint. Unfortunately, I do not have the additional information necessary to respond appropriately.  However, I would like to...

refund the customer the two late fees for a total of $50.  Please provide current contact information and address; a check will be mailed. Our company has not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation.

The information submitted by this individual (Victoria) is false. There is no parking payment kiosk "in the middle of the parking lot" as she suggests.  The company failed to respond to my appeal on their site, marking the status as only "reviewed."  Their history is negative with other customers consistently, and their practices appear to have a pattern of scamming people who park in their lot.The information given by this individual (Victoria) is false. There is no payment kiosk "in the middle of this (tiny) parking lot" as she suggests. There were several cars with citations on the day I received mine. I received no notification or response to the appeal I submitted  to their company -- only a status of "reviewed" on my case. Had I not checked to see if they had looked at my appeal, my fine would have doubled withoit my knowl edge (they freeze the account so that it's impossible to pay the fine until they change the status--again, without notification. Their history of negative complaints with the Revdex.com should flag that this company is a scam operation. Victoria is not offering honest information, which is why I cannot accept her reply. This company's deceptive business practice is unethical and fraudulent.

I apologize for the delay in responding; I was made aware of this complaint only after a recent personnel change. I  would like the thank the customer for including the violation notice number in the original complain; that was very helpful.  I respectfully submit my response to the...

referenced complaint. I do show that the license plate was originally entered into our system incorrectly by the lot checking employee.  I also show that the violation notice was marked as VOID in our system on 9/10/15 and no fees are/were due or collected.  The customer's complaint was registered on 9/25/15 after the correction had been made.  Our company has not used any poor, deceptive, or dishonest business tactics in this matter and I expect this case to be cleared without delay or blemish to our reputation.
