Review: I contacted the company with regards of repairing and antique sewing machine been in the family for a very long time. After decribing the problem ( [redacted] fell off, needs replacing) with the sewing maching, [redacted] quoted me via telephone an estimated cost of "up to $99", I agreed to have him pick up the machine the next morning. I received a phone call at 6:30am the very next morning, and because I would be gone by the time he arrives, I agreed to leave it on my porch in a bag, and he would in term leave me a receipt upon picking it up. Well, upon arriving home, he had picked up the machine (as promised) but left no receipt, so I called, and was informed that "he had a new driver, and he must have forgot, however, he has the machine and he will get back in touch with the cost". The very next day, I received a call from [redacted]), with a list of what was wrong with the machine, and a quote of $400, at that time, I requested that he fix only what we "iniatially" agreed on, [redacted] began to give reasons as to why the machine needed other fixins, "the machine will not work, if ...", at the time I explained that the machine was working fine, the [redacted] broke, and that is all that I would like fixed. I explained that I appreciate his complete evaluation of the machine, and that I may get a tune-up, etc. later, but all I needed at the time was the [redacted] replaced. [redacted] in a very upset tone, again stated that the machine will not work, and that he don't understand how it was working, da-da-da..., so, I again asked could he fix what we agreed upon, at the time, he quoted me another price $149.00, I said that's not what you originally said, so could you please just return the machine, he got very angry, and have not returned my machine yet, and everytime I call, either a no one answers, or a lady answers and said this is a residence, and no one is home. This person should not be allowed to operate a business, because he will lie and he has just taken my machine, that machine has sentimental value to my family.Desired Settlement: Return my merchandise as it was when you picked it up, or stop playing games so that I can arrange pick-up!

Review: The company under question has been servicing our central vac system for over twenty years. It is not until today that I found out that they have been annually replacing the bearings to the motor totally unnecessarily, based on the advise of another company that I called to get an estimate for maintenance services. They told me that I do not need any services and actually know of this same company that goes around doing the unnecessary work. They also replaced two entire motors last year which I now suspect may not be necessary either. In addition, he insulted my wife who refuse to speak to the man by hanging up. All and all, very unprofessional and unethical business services.Desired Settlement: Stop this company to continue such fraudulent practices. Need to kick them out of business period.
