This tow truck company towed my car from my condominium complex, stating I was parked in a fire laneWhen I asked for proof they have noneAlso I saw my car on the tow truck, the driver was still in my driveway areaI yelled for him to stop and he sped up when he heard meAfter doing more research, he legally has to release my vehicle to me, and charge half the tow in that instanceThey towed my vehicle over miles awayIllegally towed it stating it was in a fire lane I know the driver heard meThe paperwork states he towed my vehicle at am, I had the car in my possession by am Honestly these are predatory practices and this company has been in the news for doing the same thing to others

on Nov19th I had my car towed by Truck #Driver BR during the time International towing had my vehicle in their possession it received damage to the front left daytime light, I called Mr*** several times and spoke with himHe requested to inspect the damage in greater detail in person and ask that I provide him with an address where he can go see my cari provided him my work address to allow him to do his inspection (I was informed by multiple employees that photos are taken before each tow, but he insisted to inspected it in person) despite my numerous attempts to resolved this he never did anything, on Dec19th I sent him a certified letter with repair estimate but to this day I have not heard from him

At 0545 on 2/22/2016 I called the towing company to make arrangements to pick up my car as I am nurse working 12 hour shift I would not be able to be there during stated business hours. I asked if would be able to have a family member pick up my car and I was told under no circumstances would they allow that. I also asked for a clarification on price if I picked it up during business hours or after hours. I was told after 8pm it would be $280 and before 5 it would be $360. I was also instructed to make and appointment to pick up my car for afterhours so at 645pm I called to make and appointment for after 830pm and I was instructed then it would cost $360 at the time of pick up. I clarified was I had been told in the morning and was explained the information was wrong despite asking for clarification at the time of the situation. I was also instructed that had I faxed and authorization letter and a copy of my ID a family member could have picked up the car for me. I would have had no problems arranging this had I known it was an option but as previously stated I was misdirected. I asked the evening gentlemen on service that night if they could honor the quote I was given due to the misguidance, I was instructed to take it up with the manager the next day. Joe the manager was unreceptive to the situation unwilling to provide a partial reimbursement for the misguidance and inaccurate information provided by his employees he state had I called again during the hours of 8 to 5 he would have helped but at this time he said "I don't think they will do that", when I asked who "they" were so I could contact them he said "I am it I am the top" so I said he wasn't willing to approve it or take responsibility for his employees misguidance. He said he had another call to respond to and hung up on me, at which point I said I would be filling a complaint with Revdex.comDesired Settlement: reimbursement of $80 the difference between what I paid and what I was quoted.
