Review: I recently just rented a place on Balboa Peninsula. The property has a leaky roof in the living room area and we had to use our bath towels to soak up since the water was coming in from ceiling by the windows and on the ceiling by the ceiling fan and so I called CRV early in the A.M. to let them know and they said they would be out sometime in the afternoon to put a tarp up needless to say at 9 P.M. somebody came to put plastic on the roof part. The property looks like it has not been cleaned in weeks. We thought the fridge had rust on it and here it was food, the bathroom had toothpaste still on the faucet, let alone the cobwebs all over the place. plus the cleaning lady which is also the property manager told my Fiance not to strip the beds when we check out, which makes me think that she does not wash the sheets after each guest, when I went to pull the blinds down dust went flying everywhere, the shower curtain hooks were all rusted, and to top it off we had baby RATS that I found in an empty trash can outside by the grill. I called and talked to Shauntelle(manager) and told her about the RATS and her response was " what do you want me to about it". The customer service managers need some manners as well. We ended up leaving the property on a Thursday when we were supposed to stay until saturday and staying in a hotel so we could actually enjoy your vacation. I took pictures of all this as well to have proof. I have left couple of voice mails and I have sent e-mails and NOT ONE PERSON has gotten back with me.Desired Settlement: I would like to see CRV fix these problems for future tenants and to work on their customer care skills and I would like to get a refund for the week plus for the hotel for our inconvenience when this was supposed to be a LUXURY getaway.

Review: I had rented via telephone and internet a studio apartment property through this company in June for a vacation in July 2015. I was sent pictures via internet and given a list of amenities and, one, the pictures were not all authentic to the property itself and, two, not all the amenities existed. The property, in my opinion, was so different from the property that was presented to me prior to arriving there and seeing it. After the fact, I also found out that the sales representative who presented and sold the property to me, had never even gone to the property herself in person.Desired Settlement: I would like this company, if even in existence (I have tried to contact them a number of times and nobody gets back in touch with me) to cancel the full charge of 1,963.52 or let Chase bank know that they will be dropping these charges to my account. I had to rent another place for that week because the conditions there were absolutely horrendous and my daughter and I could not stay there not even for 15 minutes, let alone 1 week!
