On June May 15, I purchased a vehicle from this business. I returned the vehicle due to financing issues, nothing on part of this business. I was told on that day that I would be refunded my down payment in the mail as it was the weekend and the woman who handled this was not there on the weekend. On June 12, I still had not received my refund. So I called and left a message asking for the finance person that guaranteed me that I would receive my refund to please call me as I had not received my deposit. On July 2nd, I called again this time speaking to the man in finance. He told me that I had to talk to someone else and transferred me to her phone. I then left a message. As of today July 6th, I still have not received a call back from anyone as to why I have not received my deposit on the vehicle that was returned.Product_Or_Service: Chevy CaptivaDesired SettlementI would like my deposit of $250 refunded to me. I have waited over a month for this.

I purchased a vehicle in August of 2013. The vehicle was used, an 08, so I also purchased a full warranty package. No deductible, unlimited miles, no time limit cap. The plan of the warranty was labeled as plan "F" (PH) Hi-Tech from Portfolio Protection. (PUA6 509750)This was the "premiere" plan they offered. ($2500.00) The miles on my vehicle were also slightly above 100k on the diesel engine. On June 24 of '14, I dropped off my vehicle at 445pm for scheduled warranty repairs, ie; the seat heater not working (still), backseat power window malfunction, wheel bearings replacement, and the rear dif cover was leaking; all of which is covered. On Thursday the 26, I finally hear back from a [redacted] in the financial office. I had been telephoning the service department but only able to reach an answering machine, repeatedly. [redacted] is stating there is a problem with "something" but is evasive. I repeatedly ask him if he doesn't know WHAT the problem is, than why is he telephoning me. Eventually he states my warranty has "a problem", but again, doesn't know WHAT it is, since he "just started working there". I hang up the receiver and that evening my partner and co-owner of the vehicle, [redacted] drives to the dealership (40 miles away) to meet with [redacted]. I had managed to reach someone back east from the warranty company, and learned of the actual problem. [redacted] states to [redacted] that the warranty isn't valid. I confirmed this through the company. The vehicle had been into repair back in January of '14 for the same work, and no one said anything then. But no one actually repaired the vehicle then. Now I receive a new warranty, much less than previous. Only [redacted] signed, I wasn't present. On 06.30.14, now told no work will be done on truck, new warranty hasn't been "approved". I'm sold a fake warranty 11 months previous, not informed until now, have a "new" warranty that is in question, and still no repairs, and they damaged my vehicle & deny it.Product_Or_Service: 2008 Dodge RamAccount_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementA legitimate warranty of appropriately equivalent value for what I paid, and the warranty to be upheld.

we took our 2012 Ford Focus in for transmission work and a non starting issue, 2 days lter I recieved a call stating my car was finished, and that the transmission had to be reflashed, and that it was tooken care of by ford and was now ready for pickup, After picking it up I went 2 blocks away and pulled in to get gas and shut the car off, and when I went to start it, it would not start again(Same problem as before) so we turned it back to them and told them it was still doing the same thing, not starting. after having it for a week in a half they called and said they discovered what is was and it had been the TCM (transmission control module) causing the issue and it had been replaced and to come get the car. 2 Days later my daughter takes I to [redacted] and once again the same issue happened, after finally getting it started she proeeded back to [redacted] with it, 2 days later it did the same thing at [redacted], and we chad to call tow truck, when we called Internet Auto sales Service Dept they told us just take it to Ford, after describing to the service manager what was going on he to agreed it sounded like the TCM, When they finally did the testing and confirmed it was the TCM,upon talking with the Ford Dealer they had told me that Internet Auto Sales admitted they never replaced the TCM like they had informed us that they did, to me they put my family in a unsafe predicamentwith us not being able to properly start the carDesired Settlementi feel im owned a apology, my daughter was put in a unsafe predictment, and I was lied to about the repair of the problem, we ended up without a vechile for a additional 5 days with no availabilty of a rental, leaving us with 1 less vechile when all vechiles are needed daily in my household, between my boyfriend and I have purchased we have bought 3 vechiles thru Internet Auto, and sad to say we are very disappointed in the way we were treated and lied toBusiness Response My name is [redacted] I am the general manager for internet auto rent & sales. I have spoken with my service manager [redacted] about the issue this customer has had with the vehicle they purchased. He has informed me that he had the vehicle sent down to ford as the issue is covered by the manufacturing company. Ford did a reset and repair on this problem and we then returned the vehicle to the consumer. The service manager from ford informed us to let the customer know that they would have to drive the vehicle approximately five hundred miles for the transmission to relearn their driving behavior before it would feel 100% normal again and that if the problem persisted after that ford would proceed further and possibly to a transmission replacement if needed after that. After informing the customer that they would need to drive the vehicle to see if the first repair would fix the problem, they insisted this was not good enough and wanted the transmission replaced. Ford has informed us that is not an option unless they go through the steps and protocols prior to transmission replacement. We will do anything we need to do to make the customer happy and have offered them a loaner vehicle to use as well when and if their vehicle needs to go back to the factory. thank you

July 28 2014 I purchased a 2011 [redacted] Traverse from Internet Auto Sales. We called the next day for two reasons. First there was an issue with the power steering and second they neglected to give us our second set of keys and we were told we would need to come back. We brought the car in and has their mechanic on site take a look. His explanation of the power steering noises were that there was a coil wrapped around the steering column that was winding and unwinding. The office also told us there wasn't a second set of keys to give to us. Come to find out they illegally sold us the car knowing that it had 2 recalls on the airbags and the front seat belts. I took the car to [redacted] in Carson City, NV where they replaced all of the necessary recalls and also replaced the bad parts for the power steering. In addition they changed the power steering fluid which they said was so dirty. They said that the power steering was so dangerous for me to drive that they gave me a free 2015 [redacted] Traverse rental for the week that the repairs were being done. I contacted [redacted] the Sales Manager at Internet Auto Sales and faxed him the repair orders as well as my original contract. He still has not contacted me back, paid for the second set of keys to be ordered or owned up to the fact that his location illegally sold me a faulty car. I would like what I was promised and that was a car that went through a "90 Point Inspection" as well as a second set of keys for the car. Selling me a car that had known recalls in unprofessional and unacceptable business practices. Not to mention it put my family in danger riding around in a car that was unsafe for use.Product_Or_Service: 2011 [redacted] Traverse Desired SettlementI would like what I was promised to me at the time of my purchase and that was a car that went through a "90 Point Inspection" that had no problems or safety issues as well as a second set of keys for the car.

I have called the dealer ship to get the car fixed on the brakes and some other problems that came up with the carDesired SettlementI would like them to repair the carBusiness Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] General ManagerContact Phone: 775-824-6060Contact Email:[redacted]Good morning, this is the first ive heard of any issues with the vehicle [redacted] purchased. If she would like to contact me directly id like an opportunity to take care of these problems if they are within reason and covered items. I would like an opportunity to review you compaints to see if we can get them resolved. thanks

Went to Internet Auto Sales to just browse at cars and felt I was pressured and worn down until I agreed to purchase a car. They would not let me go until loan docs were signed. I did not take delivery of the car that night because I did not have insurance. When I attempted to get Insurance the rates were very high because I am under a SR22 policy. At this point I realized I just could not afford this car. The dealer would not cancel the deal when I went to talk to them the next day. They have threatened to purchase insurance on the car and deliver the vehicle to my home. I feel personally threatened by their actions.Product_Or_Service: VehicleDesired Settlementjust simply cancel the dealBusiness Response This case is absolutely a fabrication of the truth. This man was never threatened in any manner. He is right, he didn't have insurance so we didn't deliver the vehicle. His father came in the next day and told us he just got out of rehab for meth so believe him or us. We unwound the deal due to lack of insurance and returned the check he left for down payment. I'm sorry, Sincerely[redacted]PresidentInternet Auto Rent & Sales

Unfairly treated and harassed by company on multiple occasions for error's on their end. I purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this company 07/09/2016. On 07/27/2016 I started receiving multiple repeat phone calls from this company on my contact number. When answered I was advised they had not smog checked my vehicle before selling it to me and I needed to come in. I advised I would be in 07/29/2016 after 3:30 pm to assist (even though this was their error). On 07/29/2016 I started receiving again repeat phone calls not only on my contact number, but also my references, and work (phone number only given for employment verification not for personal) threatening my co-workers as well as reference's that my car was going to be repossessed because I hadn't made it in. I called back at around 12:30 07/29 and advised again that I would be in after 3:30 to give further assistance. I showed up let them take the jeep to be smogged and asked to speak with someone higher up. They advised they had no one available and they took down my contact info. I also advised on this day that I had moved and no longer lived at my old address and I didn't want to be late on my registration because of this. They refused to change my address and handed me the DMV registration form and I left. I never received contact back from the company until they again started repeat calling me on 08/11 I answered and they advised me that they needed proof of residence for my previous address. I advised that I did not have anything since I had moved as I had already told them. [redacted] then told me that I would have to find something I agreed and let them know I would bring it in or fax it to them by 4:00 pm 08/12. 08/12 at 9:00am I received a text stating they were hoping to have this by yesterday(not ever once what I stated) and the bank had issued final notice and the offer was going to be returned. I started receiving repeat phone calls again not only to my personal line, but again to my work line where I can not take personal calls and my agent was harassed and threatened (by mike) that my car was going to be repossessed with these repeat phone calls most of them didn't leave me voice messages. I then received a call from [redacted] the company that was going to be financing my vehicle since I was at work I was unable to answer, but [redacted] left a message with her contact information. I called [redacted] once I was off of work and advised her of the harassment this company had been putting me through where she then let me know that this was the 9th business day since they had requested this information. So in other words this company waited almost 2 weeks to contact me for information and my loan was about to be returned because of their negligence and they were trying to put the pressure on me because of their mistakes. I provided my proof of residence to [redacted] so we had no chance of Internet making another error and she provided me the name of their GM [redacted]. I called and requested for [redacted] on 08/12 and still have not heard contact back. Along with all of this I had a trade in that they did not pay off until 08/18 making it look like I made 2 late car payments and giving me derogatory marks on my credit. I also was told I would not have any car payments for 2 months and have already received a payment due for 08/24 that I was not expecting since this was not ever verbally agreed on. I took a look at my contract and they snuck in that my first payment would be 08/24 not what was ever agreed on! Over all experience with this company has left me in tears and fear because of the frustration they have caused me due to their negligence. At this time I am also filing a Nevada Attorney General complaint for selling the car without being smogged(proper certifications) and harassment Desired SettlementAt this time I wish to renegotiate a deal on this vehicle. Or for them to offer something to make this experience less aggravating. Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] GMContact Phone: 775-824-6060Contact Email: [redacted], I apologize for the apparent inconvenience throughout the process of your deal, it sounds as if things definitely were not handled as efficiently as they could have been. In speaking with the sales managers involved with this transaction I was informed that the only reason contact was made with references as well as work was due to the inability to reach you via cell phone or personal contact info. I can tell you that increasing calls and contact are only made once time begins to be an issue with the transaction. But I do apologize for the obvious anguish this caused you. I had not received a message from you otherwise I am very good about returning those calls. Id love to have the opportunity to talk to you and see if I can help to resolve some of your frustration with you buying experience. If it would make you happy I would be more than happy to reimburse you the payment you had to make on the grand Cherokee you bought. After reading your complaint it seems as if that payment came due prior to when it was represented it should be, so id like to take care of that for you. Please contact me at the dealership and ill get that reimbursed to you. Thank you for bringing to my attention your concerns its important in helping us work forward to better customer service and a better overall experience.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Hello, The attack phone calls happened after I had spoken with representatives at your company. So either poor communication was made between your associates, or they knew they made a mistake and assumed that I would not keep my word. For me to receive repeat attacks of phone calls before 48 hours of me last speaking with someone is absurd especially since it was made very clear when I would be able to be in. Just like any other person I do have a schedule to work around. I advised your employees of the fastest I would be able to make it in and wasn't even given a chance to keep my word on when I would show up before I received threats of reposition. I never was outside of a deadline before these calls were made to me and they were made last minute by your company when things were hanging by threads. Every day they called I had spoken with someone or called back and made it clear what my work hours were and that even though it was not an error on my part I was still fine to assist. Having multiple people call me on repeat was out of line. Selling me a vehicle that had not passed smog check is wrong. Making me lie about my residence is wrong. And the customer service I dealt with after Chris was terrible! After buying a car most conpanies call to make sure everything is going fine not threaten you or make you feel like you did something wrong.

My wife and I purchased a vehicle from Internet Auto in January of 2015. We endured the stereotypical "we're losing money on this deal" shenanigans, but walked away feeling like we got a pretty good deal. It wasn't until months after the sale that we began to notice several little things wrong with the car, and after 18 months we decided to trade it in for something better. Based on what we paid, we expected 10-12k for the trade-in, but were only offered 6k due to the fact that the car (a Ford) was manufactured in Canada. Internet buys Canadian cars for far less US dollars and then sells them at US prices, reaping a large profit. Nevada is a buyer beware state and the seller does not have to disclose where they bought it from, leaving the consumer in the dark until they go to trade it in. I feel that Internet is scamming their customers and will never return there again.","neg-1

I have had multiple customer service issues from incorrect green slip information, resigning the contract a month later after we had originally signed the paperwork, including multiple harassing statements they would take the car back. In addition, I have left six messages over the past three months regarding a refund on the extra warranty they sold to us and no one has ever called back. I want to know what department is responsible for handling this and why no one has ever returned my phone calls. After all theses issues, I do not want to be involved with this company and want a refund on the warranty.Product_Or_Service: Auto WarrantyOrder_Number: Included in the loanAccount_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI want a refund asap.

On Sunday Dec 20th, 2015 my husband and I went to internet auto rent we had [redacted] helped us, he took us into an office in which he had my credit run first. I wasn't approved for an the car we were looking for so he took us around the lot to check out some of the cars I could get approved for. Many of the cars he showed us I didn't like because we were mainly looking for a Toyota or Honda model, we saw a 2012 Honda civic but he said that those cars were priced at 20 thousand and up which I only qualified for 18 thousand. then I saw a 2014 Buick I test drove it I liked it he took us back to the office he said how much down payment can we do that day? my husband had $1,800 on hand. he asked if we could do a little more in 30-45 days. we asked how much more and he said the bank wanted $3,000 more in 30-45 days we said ok we signed papers and drove off. After getting home about an hour later I decide I don't like the Buick, I go online and check out their cars online. I found that the 2012 Honda civic was actually priced at $15,000. The next day I call [redacted] he says he will see if he can do anything to get me into a different car, a couple of hours later I called him he still didn't have an answer for me. I kept in touch with him for the next two days, Wednesday December 23 he tells me I have to wait till Monday December 28 because banks were closed for the Christmas holiday. Monday December 28 my husband and I went to speak to [redacted] one more time, he told us he can set us up for the 2012 Honda civic if we give another down payment, my husband said we would give another $2,000 only if we didn't have to give the other $3,000 for the Buick in 30-45 days. [redacted] said yes, we wouldn't have to. The next day I went in signed the new contract for the 2012 Honda unfortunately I was only able to give a $1,500 down payment which [redacted] said that was fine as long as we paid the other $500 in 30-45 days. the next day [redacted] tells me the bank is still asking for the $3,000 for a car we were no longer going to leaseDesired SettlementI would like the $3,000 down payment to go towards the 2012 Honda civic that we are leasing. Not toward a car we no longer going to buy.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: 775-824-6060Contact Email: [redacted]when the customer first came in to purchase a car we explained to her that she would only be approved for a loan of up to 13k. she then picked out a vehicle that would work within those parameters. after the customer had taken delivery and driven the car she stated she wanted to switch vehicles to the Honda civic. after getting ms Herrera re approved on the Honda civic we explained to her what it would take to get into that vehicle and she was given the option to either stay in her buick she bought or come up with the required down to make the civic work. She chose to do the later of the two.Any and all down payment she put down on the buick has been applied to the civic she switched in to. As we switched her contract and purchase we did not treat the buick as a trade. I believe that she may be confused on her paperwork but if she would like to have a finance manager go over it with her she will clearly see that all down payments received have been applied to her civic purchase. thanks

On April 27th 2014 we bought a vehicle from Internet Auto. We never saw the [redacted] value in which the dealership submitted to our bank. This past week we went in and tried to trade it in for another vehicle due to it not being accommodating for our family of 5. By doing so we learned that our vehicle was worth way less than what we bought it for. We then contacted our bank to see what [redacted] book was submitted with our contract. The [redacted] book that was submitted was for a different style car, the dealership submitted a Mazda 6 I touring sedan and after some investigation our car really is a Mazda 6 I sport sedan Also in the options they had said that we had leather seats, a premium sound system, and premium wheels. In return our car has none of these. We were dumb founded after seeing this and they had marked up our car so much that the values of these cars are significantly valued differently. So in return they falsified our contract to our bank and we are now stuck with paying for a car that is $6,000.00 less than the market value on it.Product_Or_Service: CARAccount_Number: VIN# [redacted]Desired SettlementWe do not want this car at all. We are never dealing with Internet Auto again and I am hoping by doing this nobody will have to go through what we endured. I'm also filing a complaint with the Department of Motor Vehicles in Nevada and an investigation will be conducted.

We recently visited Internet Auto Sales to look around for a used truck. We were instantly greeted by a salesman named [redacted] who then showed us around the lot. He took his time making sure we saw everything that was around our budget, and eventually landed on the perfect truck. (It was a recent trade in so it still needed to pass inspection) We then went inside and filled out all of the necessary paperwork and was assured that if there was anything wrong with the vehicle, that they would fix it on their dime to make sure it was able to be sold. After a week of them jerking us around while the truck was in the shop, they finally told us that there was too much work that needed to be done so they were just going to write the truck off as a loss. This is where things took a turn for the worse. We were now being called on a daily basis, receiving quotes for trucks double our budget and practically being pushed to buy something else from them that we didn't really want. We went down to look at a few of them but ultimately decided we were going to wait to make any big decisions. After about the 20th call, we sent a message to [redacted] saying that we appreciated his help but that we were going to take a different offer. The responese we received was the most inappropriate, unprofessional and incredibly obscene any employee should ever give a customer. "[redacted]" "[redacted]" were just a few of the things he wrote back. We then went straight to the "manager" [redacted] who denied that any of his guys would do such a thing (until we presented photographic proof) but assured that "He would take care of it". I followed up on him to see if he did indeed "take care of it" only to find out that [redacted] still works there, probably receiving nothing more than a stern talking to. [redacted] apparently takes customer service very lightly. I will never in my life go to this establishment again NOR would I recommend to anyone else! They have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. STAY AWAY if you know whats good for yoDesired SettlementWe just want to get the word out and warn everyone of what a horrible company this is. Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]sContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]after the customer stopped into the dealership. I read the text that [redacted] had sent. we immediately let him go upon. we sincerely apologize for the actions of [redacted] and in no way does internet auto rent and sales condone talking to customers in that way.

we bought a 5th wheel trailer from this place and not even 3 months after buying it the axles snapped due to a already faulty weld done by someone that didn't know what they were doing. we still have money to pay on the down payment but have made all other payments on time. when we called them to get help with this the only thing they want is the rest of the money. they sold us a trailer that was completely unsafe to travel with. when the axle weld broke the trailer was going down the highway and thank god didn't hit anyone when it swerved out.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired Settlementwe would have liked for them to just have it repaired since we do love the trailer. but since this is the way they do things, we don't trust the work they do. we want our money back.Business Response when these customers had initially purchased the 5th wheel from us we dropped the price to almost cost just to get them approved. we then spent almost $1100.00 to repair issues they had found on the 5th wheel. A couple months had passed by and they called stating they were having some additional problems that they felt we should repair. The 5th wheel they purchased is 13 years old and has no warranty. Yet I still offered to have the trailer inspected however they would be responsible for transportation of the trailer to a repair shop. This was not good enough apparently they wanted us to either pay for a tow or pay to have a mobile repair man come to them. Which by the way after calling around was 650.00 just for them to get to the trailer. On top of the fact that we extended the customers down payment out longer of which 2500.00 is still owed to us for their down. We believe we have done everything possible to make them happy. We are owed 2500.00 down payment and have still offered to help anyway possible within reason.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)price wasn't lowered until 3 days after we signed the contract. my husband was informed of the change when he went to pick up the trailer along with being told the trailer wouldn't be ready for 2 days because of a modometer inspection it required.Instantly we wondered why.We have had the trailer checked out by 2 different professionals and were told the trailer couldn't have been safe for the road at time of purchase. A proper inspection would have said it all.The faulty welds could not have withheld the tests. They only had a drop test done. Then what was the modometer test the trailer had to be kept 2 additional days for?No Results still.leaky roof and water lines that wouldn't hold water your repairman says leaks were visible would've seen w/safety inspection. These huge issues are pre-existing and should have been disclosed. along with the vin being tampered with.Threaten not to pay to get help. I did ALL footwork. I.A.'s main concern has been the 2500.00 but what about the safety of your customers and innocent bystanders? Shouldn't making sure the product your selling is safe be more important? no one expected I.A to pay some huge amount to get the trailer here. I presented all the options I found for they're choice. Lender and I came up with plan to bring trailer home. Then I received in writing a agreement to have the trailer fixed professionally if I brought it in. also I was told I would be helped with the expense of having to hire a welder to do the temp fix needed to pull it home. I understand they want the money. its a business. I get it. but what about the lives that could have been ruined when that weld broke and the tires blew. The trailer barely stayed on the road..

I bough a vehicle in 08/03/16 and after signing the contract between the test drive and me walking out to the vehicle's front left side of the bumper was cracked and due to the stickers of the front the windshield had a chip on it. I informed the that it needed to be taken care of and that I wouldn't be able to bring it back until 08/10/16 since it was my next day off. I took the vehicle in on 8/10/16 to get it fixed and I didn't receive the car back until 08/11/16 in the afternoon with the left side of the bumper fixed but the right side of the bumper broke due to them fixing the left side. I told them that since it was there fault they had to replace the whole bumper along with the windshiled being completely replaced. I told them that I wouldn't be able to bring the car again until 08/17/16 since it was my day off again. I took the car in on 08/17/16 and they said it would be ready by 08/19/16 and that they would give me a call as soon as it was done. On 08/19/16 I went in since I never received a call and the guy said that the vehicle that I bought was not ready and they have me a loan car. I tried to reach the service department on 08/22/16 there times throughout the day and left messages and I never got a call back to see if my vehicle was ready. I spoke to the manager [redacted] on 08/23/16 and he said that I couldn't exhange the car at this point I told him that I had been paying insurance for a car that I wasn't driving and I had to register the car within the week and I didn't have the vehicle.Product_Or_Service: [redacted] Desired SettlementI would like to exchange the vehicle for something I can drive and not have to constantly keep bringing it into the shops for repairs or I would like for them to give me an extension on the registration and have my car fixed as soon as possible.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] GMContact Phone: 775-824-6060Contact Email: [redacted]We would be more than happy to either exchange vehicles or repair the purchased unit, as well as help with registration for the time the vehicle spent in our service department. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the opportunity to make things right by you. ThanksConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
