Review: Prior to signing up to PMI I looked them up on Revdex.com and they had an A rating,so I signed up to a business called PMI aka;Professional Marketing International, on November 23,2010.

I was told they would school me byway of the internet to start my own internet business. After going though it until sometime in Aug I wasn't getting anywhere. All the things I was told about it being easy to do and up and running were far from the trueth. Even though I was working 8 plus hours a day. I had resonatly lost my income and wanted to do this so I could bring in money like they had said it was possible to do with they're help etc. I read and printed out the classes and work sheets,talked to numerous coaches,which most were not very helpful and would just refer me back to the online classes. Some were even impatient and just want to get me off the phone,as if I was bothering their day. PMI also told me there where a lot of drop-shippers that I could use that were either free or only charged a small amount to use them,which they never gave the names of any of them. After locating a few on my own ( which took days in most cases) I was told by these drop-shippers it would cost anywhere from $3,000.00 ( three thousand dollars ) up to $10,000.00 (ten thousand dollars) a year to work with them.So I called PMI back and explained my problem,there was no way I had that kind of money, and was just told to keep looking. Thats when I decided it wasn't worth it and felt I had been miss lead by their marketing department and called and asked for my money back.I was then told I would have to wait until I was with them for a year from the date I signed up.

I was at the time a single mother with an autistic son who was very ill from other issues then his autism. Unfortunately he passed away 11/11/11 at 11:01, at only 19 years old, just 1 month and 5 days from what would have been his 20th birthday. I was beside myself, (he was the last of my family) and had forgotten to call PMI on November 23,2011 for obvious reasons.

When I did call PMI I was told I couldn't get a refund because I didn't call them on the exact date I signed up. As I remember I called either near the end of November or the beginning of December. I explained my situation to this man (think his name was ED,don't have my notes about that call because they are in storage over 300 miles away). He had zero companion for what I was going through even though I was crying while I was talking to him. Not once did he even say he was sorry about my loss. I then asked didn't they have any exceptions for death,he coldly said no. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I also told him I wanted out way back in August and I hadn't been on the site since,and had no desire to deal with their company. To which he said he would shut down my access to it and I would have to call PMI to get back on. I resonantly went to foxfire (which is the server they use) and it is shut down and says on the screen I owe them more money if I want to use it and their special tool bar.Which I have found out is a rip off because [redacted] has the same thing for free! Plus I was told in the beginning I would not have to pay anything more to them again because I paid the $3,549.00 for life time rights to access their site and their special toolbar. Another lie.

I called the number I have for their customer service August 15,2014,and got a different company then PMI. I asked the girl how long they have had this number and she said 6 years. I also asked if they were called PMI and she said they had merged with this company. I am completely feed up with them and like I told this Ed person I never want to have anything to do with them ever again. I feel PMI has ripped me off and lied about everything they told me in the beginning.Desired Settlement: total amount back that I paid PMI-$3,549.00
