There appears to be quite a bit of confusion regarding the two distinct companies that this client spoke withThe person mentioned in the complaint, [redacted] from Reputation Management Consultants, has never worked with or been affiliated with InternetReputation.comThis is a completely separate companyWe cannot say for sure how that company got the client’s contact information, but their statement that she reached out them while shopping for services seems reasonableThe complaint states that this is the same company as InternetReputation.comShe is mistakenIt’s difficult to address this aspect of the complaint without sounding repetitive, but we’ve never been affiliated with Reputation Management Consultants or with the phone number [redacted] , as mentioned in the complaintAs stated in the complaint, this client worked with our account manager, ***, who can be reached at [redacted] All of our phone numbers are based in [redacted] , while it seems that the number for the other company that this client contacted is based in CaliforniaWhen that person stated that he did not work with InternetRepaution.com, he was being honestWe have offered numerous customer service measures for this client, including upgrading the campaign at no additional cost and giving the campaign top priority at no extra costWe’ve offered to perform additional work, up to three additional rounds to achieve that suppression if it hasn’t been achieved at the completion of the purchased campaign, at no additional costAt this time, the campaign is not complete, so it’s quite reasonable to expect that the negative information is not currently suppressedBecause of the considerable expenditure put forth by InternetReputation.com, we cannot offer a full refund

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/05) */
Mr*** reached out to us on May 18th, in regards to having his information removed from a page at *** He did not make a purchase at that time, or any time after
While we're certainly sorry to hear that his arrest
information has been published onlineI think that he may have a little bit of conflicting informationInternetReputation.com is a reputation management firm, we don't post negative information about anyone onlineThe only time that we publish any information about anyone is when they specifically ask us to, and when they've expressly approved it first
While we are able to remove mugshots from quite a few different websites across the web, we're not involved in the ownership or the operation of any sites that publish mugshot informationAs far as our removal process goes, we are a third party, and removal from the sites that are sharing arrest information is just the first step of our processOnce we remove the information from the page itself, we also go though and deindex those pages from Google, Yahoo, Bing, and other search engine resultsThis is, of course, a pretty intensive process, but it's one that our tech team is very experienced in, and it's one that we're able to do successfully for quite a few different mugshot sitesWhile it's certainly true that we're not able to remove from every site on the web, we are able to have information removed from BustedMugshots.com, and we would be happy to offer Mr*** a 10% discount if he would like to use our services
One thing that we feel makes our service stand out among companies who remove mugshots is our exceptional customer serviceWe strive to answer every question and address every concern in the best possible wayWe certainly understand how frustrating it can be to see your mugshot or arrest information online, and We definitely understand the desire to see that come down as quickly as possibleWith that in mind, Mr*** is welcome to contact us at (XXX) XXX-XXXX, and we'd be happy to provide any additional information that he may need
Thank you,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/06/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
It was settled with ***.com and my photo was removed

This client purchased a reputation management campaign targeting a single keyword, his first and last name, including his middle initialThis was confirmed during the initial sales call, the introduction call, and the written and signed contract completed by the customerPlease note that
personally identifying information cannot be included in this response, however a copy of that contract showing the single keyword chosen by the client has been provided to the Revdex.comOn May 4th, 2017, this client contacted our account management team, expressing his gratitude that the negative articles had been successfully suppressed under the chosen keywordThis occurred via recorded phone callWhile the Revdex.com doesn’t automatically accept audio files with complaint responses, we’d be happy to provide that recorded call upon requestAt that time, he expressed interest in suppressing the information under an additional keywordNormally, this would entail an additional campaign, however, as a customer service measure and at the customer’s request, we allocated the remaining funds in his campaign toward a second keywordAs of the writing of this response, the negative articles have been successfully suppressed from searches of the client’s purchased keywordThey have also been moved to the bottom of the first page for the client’s second keywordGiven that the client never completely paid for his first keyword, and never paid any amount at all for a second keyword, this level of suppression is above and beyond what would normally be expectedIn this case, we’re willing to write off the additional $that is owed, but no refund can be given

This complaint is very concerning to usThe client in question paid for continuous hosting and domain registrationDue to a clerical error on our part, the hosting was allowed to lapseIn that aspect, the complaint is correctWe’re very concerned that the client felt the need to file a
complaint, however, as a refund was never refused and was, in fact, processed the same day that he brought the issue to our attention: the evening before this complaint was receivedWe offer our deepest apologies to the client that the error occurred, but have refunded his moneyNormally, we would refund to the same credit card used to make a charge, however this client requested that the refund be processed by check, which is being mailed to the address that he providedWhile we are certainly willing to admit when we’ve made a mistake, we do find it very concerning that the client feels that he’s been “defrauded” or that his complaint states “they refuse to give me a refund” when the refund in question was processed as soon as the issue was brought to our attentionIn this case, the desired settlement was a refund, which has already been processed and is on the way to the client in his preferred method

This client placed an order for our Reputation Management Campaign in 2015, a reputation management campaign, including the buildout of three websites, three lawyer’s letters sent to sites of her choosing, and many additional online assets and SEO work as described in the terms of service included
with her purchaseThis client purchased a service which attempts to suppress negative articles appearing in Google’s search resultsThis is achieved by producing large quantities of positive content, which is approved by the client, then placed onlineAfter each piece of content is posted online, it is then optimized and strengthened to gain authority in the eyes of Google, and to appear in their organic search rankingsWhile we cannot guarantee the final ranking of any individual post, this process creates large amounts of positive press for the client, improving their online reputationAs part of that service, the client ordered three lawyer lettersWhen we sent the request to our lawyer to begin drafting these letters, he let us know that there was a risk in sending themBecause the information that the client wanted removed was legally obtained, there was a risk that the websites in question would choose not to remove the information but rather to post the letters as well, exacerbating the problemWe communicated this risk to the client and asked how she would like us to proceedWe offered to either submit the letters despite the risk, or to refund the moneyAt that time the client requested that we redirect the funds that had been allocated to those lawyer letters toward enhancing the reputation management campaignPlease note that this was done at the card holder’s request by emailAfter the funds were redirected toward her campaign, and additional services rendered, the client again requested the refundUnfortunately, after the funds had been redirected toward her existing services, we were not able to continue to offer the refund, as we have put forth considerable expenditure to create and to curate her positive information, and have delivered services to the clientUnfortunately, we are not able to offer a full refund at this timeDue to other billing issues, this client’s campaign is currently on hold, but we would be happy to continue work on her campaign when those billing issues have been resolved

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: They breached the contractthere is no minimal refund in a breachEither they performed the contract as stated or notIR said they could not perform the work as committedTherefore I will have to retain counsel. I did reached out for their CEO *** ***, she refused to return my call or e mail of two weeks agoIR clearly defrauded me of my money. How do I participate in downgrading the Revdex.com Rating with IR?

This client purchased a reputation management campaign consisting of three rounds of SEO workThere were unforeseen delays in the campaign, both on our side and due to extensive revisions of content requested by the clientWe have currently completed the second round of this campaignDue to the
delays, we have been discussing additional options with this clientWe’ve upgraded her campaign to a more expensive package at no additional cost, and given the campaign top priorityWe’ve worked with her on the content as diligently as possible, and we understand that she wasn’t satisfied with the original styling of the contentIt’s important to remember in suppression campaigns that our journalism team are highly skilled in writing content that ranks well in search enginesThe styling that we use is intentional and is designed to be highly appealing to search engine algorithmsThis does sometimes mean that the content reads more mechanically than it would if written as, for example, an article expressing an opinionWhile this may not be as appealing to casual surfers as an article written for that audience would, the content that our team produces is optimized to be viewed favorably by search engines to achieve suppressionAt this time, the client is correct that the negative links have not been suppressedHowever, the campaign is not completeWe’ve completed two of three roundsAs a customer service measure, we’ve offered to perform additional work, up to three additional rounds to achieve that suppression if it hasn’t been achieved at the completion of the purchased campaignThat additional work would, of course, come at no additional cost to the clientUnfortunately, we cannot offer the client the desired settlement of a full refundWe’ve completed two rounds of work for her and cannot simply ignore those expensesWe do intend to finish the campaign, and to honor the offer of additional free rounds if neededNobody can offer an exact date as to when suppression would be achievedSEO work is fluid and depends on a relationship between the optimization team’s efforts and the search engine being targetedThis was fully explained to the client at the time of purchaseWhile our target date was months from the start of the campaign, it’s clearly laid out that this is simply a target, and cannot be guaranteedThe specific clauses from the contract that the client signed were highlighted in caps and are extremely explicit in that we cannot guarantee that the client's unwelcome content will appear below the welcome contentThose clauses are as follows: InternetReputation.com does not guaranty any results for the services, including that the Welcome Content will be displayed above the Unwelcome Content. The services provided under this agreement are dependent in part on actions by third parties and InternetReputation.com cannot control or predict how third parties might react and InternetReputation.com is not responsible for any actions or omissions of any third party. Client acknowledges and agrees that the services provided under this agreement are provided “as is” without any warranty or guaranty of any kind. Internetreputation.com does not provide any warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding the services, or the success or results of the services including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement of third-party rights. Client acknowledges that it has relied on no warranties in entering into this agreement. Limitation of liability. In no event will internetreputation.com be liable for any consequential, indirect, exemplary, special or incidental damages, including any lost data and lost profits, arising from or relating to this agreement, including any services performed under this agreement and any content created by or optimization performed by internetreputation.com. Internetreputation.com’s total cumulative liability in connection with this agreement including any services performed under this agreement and any content created by or optimization performed by internetreputation.com (other than for payment of any other amounts owed under this agreement), whether in contract or tort or otherwise, will not exceed the amount of fees paid to internetreputation.com by client under this agreement in the twelve (12) months preceding the liability. Client acknowledges that the fees set forth in this agreement reflect the allocation of risk set forth in this agreement and that InternetReputation.com would not enter into this agreement without these limitations on its liability

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a full refund at this timeDue to other billing issues, this client’s campaign is currently on hold, but we would be happy to continue work on her campaign when those billing issues have been resolved

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/17) */
This client purchased the removal of her information from one URLAn anonymous poster had gone onto CheaterVille.com and posted derogatory comments about this client on the following

This page was completely removed, and none of our client's information remains on this pageWe're a reputation management firm, we don't post negative information about anyone onlineThe only time that we publish any information about anyone is when they specifically ask us to, and when they've expressly approved it firstWhile we are able to remove information from quite a few different websites across the web, we're not involved in the ownership or the operation of any sites that publish negative informationAs far as our removal process goes, we are a third party, and removal from the sites that are sharing your information is just the first step of our processOnce we remove the information from the page itself, we also go though and deindex those pages from Google, Yahoo, Bing, and other search engine results

Five months after purchasing, this client called us back, as the same anonymous poster had posted about her again on BadboyReport.krAt that time, we offered to remove the BadboyReport.kr posting at a discounted rateAs stated in the terms of service sent to Ms***, removal of information from an additional URL does carry an additional charge

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/23) */
This client purchased a reputation management campaign, to take place in three roundsThese rounds typically last about days, depending on the speed at which the client approves contentThe terms of service which the client signed included
the following Client Satisfaction Guarantee:
Client Satisfaction GuaranteeClient Satisfaction Policy; If Client is not satisfied with our services within ten (10) days after the completion of the campaign; (campaign completion date will be specified in an email sent to Client), Client must notify in writing via email or facsimile that they would like to take advantage of our Client Satisfaction PolicyIf InternetReputation.com is notified during this period, Client shall receive at no additional cost during an additional campaign with the same duration of the initial campaign for freePer our Client Satisfaction Policy, Client can claim they are not satisfied if we are unsuccessful at pushing any negative item off the first page of ***If all negative items are suppressed off of the first page (Page 1) of *** when typing in specified keyword phrase(s) Client engaged our work for, Client can decide to utilize the Client Satisfaction GuaranteeTo determine where the negative item(s) are appearing, a screenshot will be taken in Denver, Colorado using the domain ***This will be done by using a browser that is not logged into any email account and has had the cookies and cache cleared to show the true results in ***Client's keyword(s) will be typed in and a screenshot of the first page (Page 1) of *** will be takenThis screenshot will be completed the same day the campaign completion date email is sent to ClientIf at any point in the campaign, Client takes longer than hours to respond to any content approval emails sent by InternetReputation.com, Client Satisfaction Guarantee is void
Work was started for this client, and the first round of content was sent to her November 12thThat content was approved on 19thAfter the first round of content had been placed online and optimized, this client called expressing dissatisfaction that the negative links were not yet suppressedOur account manager again reminded her that we can't expect to see suppression after only one of three rounds, and that the work had just begun, but as a customer service measure, this client was offered additional content, and additional work from our SEO team in strengthening the first round of assets, at no cost
The first round, including the additional services offered at no cost was completed, and the second round of content was sent to the client for approval on the 19th of JanuaryDespite repeated attempts from our account manager to secure approval to post the second round of content, the client has not yet provided that approval
This client's complaint states that none of her negative sites are suppressedThis is correctSuppression cannot be expected when we've only been allowed to complete a small portion of the workDespite the client's long delays in approving content, we would be happy to honor our guarantee as stated in the contractIf, at the end of the three round campaign, this client's negative articles are still listed on the first page of *** results, we would be happy to continue working for her at no additional cost
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Simply not trueThe rounds have been completedThe minor delays were due to the fact that hundreds of grammatical corrections were required to the contentThe content writers are clearly not versed in the English language and after the first round, the content was completely unacceptableEach of their 10-page content reviews take many hours to complete, due to (literally) hundreds of correctionsAttached are just two pages from the many, many pages correctedEven given that, the turnaround was not a big delayIt's been SIX MONTHS with no progressI do not want to start the "bad review" process on the Internet with these facts because that's exactly what I am fighting, that kind of Internet useHowever, I would appreciate a fair response to a fair requestI did not get what I paid for, and the company offers guaranteed results
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2015/07/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was told repeatedly this would take no more than six monthsPlease share in your documentation where it states the length of a campaignSend me the verbiage (current, not something you will create) where it clearly states a timeline for "the end of the campaign."
Final Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2015/07/27) */
A full copy of the documentation signed by the client has been provided to the Revdex.com and to the client via email, but cannot be included in this response due to character limitThe relevant section reads as follows:
If InternetReputation.com is unable to publish the proposed materials due to Client's failure to approve or reject and finalize the proposed materials, then InternetReputation.com's services will become interrupted, leading to unforeseen delays
Our documentation does not state the length of any campaign, as each campaign is unique and must be handled individuallyA Typical time frame for one round of work is days, but this is far from universal
During each round of work, we must have our client's response to a questionnaire that allows work to begin, then we must have approval of the content written, and the client's continued cooperation throughoutWithout that cooperation, and with delays in receiving the questionnaire responses and content approval, the process will become unavoidably prolongedThis is communicated throughout the campaign, and our account managers make every effort to send reminder emails and to provide any necessary assistance that our clients need to be able to complete the questionnaire and to secure approvalHowever, because this ultimately lies in the client's hands, we do not ever guarantee a completion dateWhat we do provide is a guarantee that if the negative information has not been removed from the first page of *** results by the time work has finished, that we will provide a second campaign with the same duration as the first at no additional costWe are happy to honor this guarantee if this client's negative items in question are still on the first page of *** once work has been completed

As previously stated, we cannot offer the refund that the client is requestingDue to the considerable expenditure that we've have undertaken on the client's behalf, this is a request that we cannot accommodate

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/20) */
This client says, "I would like for the business to complete the services they promised or return my funds to my account...."
At this point, we have actually satisfied BOTH of these requestsThis client reached out to us to have his
information removed from one URL at ***.com:
http://***.com/***-***-***.html
The removal process did take a bit longer than expected, however, so as a customer service measure, the client was fully refundedA refund receipt has been provided to the *** Despite the refund, the service remains complete, a visit to that URL will show that this client's information no longer appears on the pageRather than a post about this client, visitors will now only see "Error 404- Not Found."
At this point, the client has received both completion of the service AND a full refundWith that in mind, please resolve this case
Thank you
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/07/24) */

I did receive a refund but did not receive the service as the business statedMy name is placed in search box on said site the info that the company promised to have deleted is still availableTherefore the services promised were not completedVisitors are able to post and view the untrue information that I the client paid to have removeThis company did not do as they promisedTherefore this matter is not solved
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2015/07/30) */
A full refund has been processedPlease close this case
Thank you
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2015/07/31) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
A full refund was issued and yes this case should be closedHowever again they should not claim that they provided service to the clientThe client provided proof that services claimed were not rendered as the company continously states in their rebuttalI want it known on record that the company did not do what they claimed to have done. The link they claimed to have removed is still availableI would never have come to Revdex.com if this company had done what they claimed they are capable of doingA service representative used the term extortionI now agree with his statement

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I have tried in many ways to have this firm to repay me for services not rendered. There is no 'billing' issue and they are not 'willing' to work on my campaign since they have not worked on it in almost a yearThey have not been honest about anything they have written.I will turn this over to local authorities to investigate this company's business practices. Sincerely,*** ***

This client purchased a reputation management campaign in three rounds. As stated, we currently have not completed the work, rather are midway through the second round.  The timeframe for our campaigns is stated as a target time range, but is definitely not something that’s set in stone. The...

time frame, as specified by the contract that all clients sign at the beginning of work, is very something that’s extremely fluid based on client participation. Because our work is fully tailored to the client’s needs, we do require client approval before posting any content online. We feel that this is understandably cautious when our clients are coming to us for help in dealing with unwanted online content. The last thing that we want is to post something that client’s don’t want online. For this reason, we will not push forward with campaigns without the client’s involvement. In this client’s case, he also requested our services to remove his information directly from certain websites. That’s something that we’re able to do for him, however after multiple requests, he either could not or chose not to provide us with the required documents to do so. In this case, we needed official court paperwork that should have been available to the client, however these are something that we have not received. It was made clear to the client that we could not move forward without those documents. At this time, we are well into the campaign and have put forth a considerable expenditure on this client’s behalf. The refund that the client requested is not something that we can offer at this point.

At least you and I have in writing that InternetReputation.com stated that it would give a refund.  I would like to stay in contact with the Revdex.com to see if in fact they will honor their promise.  To make the record straight, I was told by Brandon R. when I asked for a refund a few months ago, that the company would not give a refund. Also when I asked for a refund in an email, the response from an employee named [redacted] was as follows and I have copied and pasted his reply to my email here, On Wed, Oct 4, 2017 at 1:51 PM [redacted]> wrote:"Hi [redacted], I apologize for the inconvenience. The domain has completely expired, but I would be happy to renew it for you. We can add another year to the renewal terms for the inconenience. Thanks,[redacted]" As you can see that what the lady stated to you was in fact not true, they did not offer me a refund until they were threatened with filing a complaint with the consumer protection agency and then threatened with legal action. ONLY after this occurred did they offer to refund the money, not because they have integrity, but because they did not want to suffer the consequences of their actions.  I personally want to thank the Revdex.com for getting involved in the matter, I greatly appreciate the work you have done on my behalf! I will let you know if in fact the they mail a check to my mother, and if the check clears.  Then I will respond back to the Revdex.com let you know if they made good on their promise, as you see that I do not trust this company at all.  Also, I will let you know if they do not mail out a check at all. Please email the best email address for me to contact you back along with a contact person. Thank you.    Make check payable to: [redacted] Mail check to: [redacted] Make the check in the amount of $1,000 Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/09) */
This person is not a customer of ours. They have not purchased our service and they are incorrect. We do not publish information online, they have us confused with a different website.
Please remove this complaint as this person is not a...

customer of ours.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This company is not telling the truth. There is another company called [redacted].com they scrapped the internet for pictures and post them on their site like you are a criminal. When you call them they direct you to this company Internetreputation.com. When I called and spoke to [redacted] he knew exactly what I was talking about because he became very quiet on the phone and told me he could not comment, but it would cost me 500.00 to get my picture removed from the internet and the other site. If they are not connected how can he know this information. Also, if you would do a review of this company on the internet, you will find out that this is a scam. Why are people who have have been arrested and paid their fine years ago are now being forced to pay a fee to remove their picture from the internet. This is not right and it another way for a company to make money off of your reputation.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2015/06/16) */
The individual is not a customer of ours and everything they have stated about us publishing records is completely incorrect and false. We've never published any records on the individual.
If Dr. [redacted] continues to slander our company we will pursue him for slander.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 16, 2015/06/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This company is lying and if they are trying to threaten me for trying to fight for what is right then I will have to take another course of action as well. It's funny you can research this company and find several complaints and then you confront them and out of fear they they threaten legal action. I have expressed my concerns with the attorney generals office and other sources. It's sad that these companies are able to operate and rip people off. If they were a reliable company with a proven record they would become a member of the Revdex.com in their state.

There appears to be quite a bit of confusion regarding the two distinct companies that this client spoke with. The person mentioned in the complaint, [redacted] from Reputation Management Consultants, has never worked with or been affiliated with InternetReputation.com. This is a completely separate company. We cannot say for sure how that company got the client’s contact information, but their statement that she reached out them while shopping for services seems reasonable. The complaint states that this is the same company as InternetReputation.com. She is mistaken. It’s difficult to address this aspect of the complaint without sounding repetitive, but we’ve never been affiliated with Reputation Management Consultants or with the phone number [redacted], as mentioned in the complaint. As stated in the complaint, this client worked with our account manager, [redacted], who can be reached at [redacted]. All of our phone numbers are based in [redacted], while it seems that the number for the other company that this client contacted is based in California. When that person stated that he did not work with InternetRepaution.com, he was being honest. We have offered numerous customer service measures for this client, including upgrading the campaign at no additional cost and giving the campaign top priority at no extra cost. We’ve offered to perform additional work, up to three additional rounds to achieve that suppression if it hasn’t been achieved at the completion of the purchased campaign, at no additional cost. At this time, the campaign is not complete, so it’s quite reasonable to expect that the negative information is not currently suppressed.
