Internists Associated, P.C Reviews (6)

My complaint is not only about the bill, but rather about the customer service. In fact nobody contacted me when I tried to resolve the problem with the doctor's officeAll my voice messages were either ignored, or a wrong number was used to call me backAnd I have a proof of that -- once one of my coworkers informed me that he had recived a voice message from Internists Associated ON HIS NUMBER about my issue! This is not only a negligence, but also a violation of patient's privacy, as my personal and medical information was disclosed to an unrelated number of people The problem with the bill is that the [redacted] used the codes which were provided them by the doctor's officeI contacted the lab and they explained that they can not change the codes, because only doctor knows if a test is for medical or preventive needsThe codes for some tests were wrongly specified as "medical", while in fact that was a preventive annual chevisitTherefore the whole responsibility is on the Internists Associated, who specified incorrect codes due their negligence Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below 1) The statement: "This matter is between the patients insurance and the lab." is FALSE.The matter is in the Internists Associated negligence: their staff sent wrong codes to the lab I do not make any business with the lab, I visited Internists Associated office for a PREVENTIVE care, and they sent my blood samples to the lab, providing a wrong code: "medical" instead of "preventive" by mistakeTheir mistake! 2) The statement: "We have intervened to help facilitate this matter for a resolution of the problem." is FALSE.Internists Associated staff did nothing to resolve their own error, they did not return my telephone calls most of the time, and when they did they used a wrong number, which affected my privacy as they invovled my coworkers into the dispute about my medical issue And after all they called me only to say, that they no longer want me as their patient and I have to look for another doctor! Shame on you! [redacted]

This matter is between the patients insurance and the lab. We have intervened to help facilitate this matter for a resolution of the problem

The problem with the bill is that the [redacted] used the codes which were provided them by the doctor's office. I contacted the lab and they explained that they can not change the codes, because only doctor knows if a test is for medical or preventive needs. The codes  for some tests were wrongly specified as "medical", while in fact that was a preventive annual check-up visit. Therefore the whole responsibility is on the Internists Associated, who specified incorrect codes due their negligence.

I do not make any business with the lab, I visited Internists Associated office for a PREVENTIVE care, and they sent my blood samples to the lab, providing a wrong code: "medical" instead of "preventive" by mistake. Their mistake!
2) The statement: "We have intervened to help facilitate this matter for a resolution of the problem." is FALSE.Internists Associated staff did nothing to resolve their own error, they did not return my telephone calls most of the time, and when they did they used a wrong number, which affected my privacy as they invovled my coworkers into the dispute about my medical issue.
