I brought my television to this shop in mid-August for evaluationThey wanted cash, which should've been my first red flagIt's November, and I still haven't heard a word from them on what's wrong with my televisionI've called them repeatedly, and I'm always given a different excuseThe shop was recommended to me by the set's manufacturer as a certified repair shopI'm not sure that they repair anything at all

I contacted Interstate Digital Center located at 744 South Main Ave. Scranton, PA 18504, on or about 9/9/2015. I explained that my LG Ductless Air Conditioning unit was not functioning. I inquired of the owner Mark, if he was in fact a certified LG repair center, and he assured me he was. A technician, whose name was Chip, responded to my summer home in Hawley, PA the next day. The fee as discussed with the owner was $120.00 which had to be paid in cash or check upon arrival of service representative. The unit was displaying a code alerting that there was a bad sensor. The technician, Chip started working on the compressor unit outside the house and it wasn't' until he called LG that he realized that the sensor was located inside the house. The technician never went inside the house but did order, though his office, an Evap- thermister. Chip explained when the part came in, the repair would be made. After 3 unsuccessful inquires to Mark as to the status of the order, he said, 'When I get it I'll call you.' I called LG, and was advised that interstate digital center is NOT a certified split systems repair center which would fall under LGs industrial section, he IS in fact a SMALL APPLIANCE LG repair center (i.e toaster, refrigerator, etc.). On 9-24-15 I called Mark again, at 570-558-6275, confronted him with the problem, and cancelled the order which STILL had not arrived. Mark refused to return my initial $120.00 payment which I had asked for, being that he was not an LG certified split systems repair service as he claimed to be. After waiting 15 days for a part to be ordered, coupled with the fact that he wasn't authorized to work on the unit to begin with, I bring it to the Revdex.com attention so that others may be forewarned of his business practices. I think Interstate Digital Center would be overwhelmed fixing a toaster. Would also like to state that a CERTIFIED repair service responded, found a mouse had chewed through a wire, and resolved the issue in 2 hours. - Event investigated by Revdex.com - They received no reply at all from the company

This is a very poorly run business. The repair guy was having an truck accident the other day and as a result, he was delaying his response to my calls after his initial repair lasted only for a few hours. I paid 140 dollars in total. It took him 3 days to come and do an initial diagnostics. All my food in the refrigerator has gone bad and I have to dump all of it. I called him on his cell phone after the initial repair was unsuccessful and he was rude and upset because he thought I was too pushy. Bottom line: very unprofessional and unresponsive. Avoid this guy at all cost!
