I will first start with DO NOT hire a BROKER!! We originally hired [redacted] ....they contracted Interstate Moving LLCMISTAKE!!! This moving company (I struggle to call it a business) was a complete nightmare! guys showed up LATE (lead man was decent build - but wore flip flops the whole time and had a bruised face like he had been in a fight, 2nd man was yrs old skinny and 3rd guy was 50ish and maybe lbs- basically not fit to be moving large items), men didn't speak English- had horrible broken English)We had a bedroom house - they told us it would take them hours to loadhours later we were pulling out NIGHTMARE They asked for a deposit when they picked up our items (he threw a rough # of $as a deposit and then asked me to give him cash because he was low on funds) NO CHANCE - gave them a money orderThey were supposed to be at our new house the next day at AMShowed up at NOON Charging us double original price - refused to open truck and unload until we gave them that amount!!! They sat in our driveway for hours refusing to open the truck as I called to get this issue resolved They said we had 4,more pounds on the truck that originally estimated Thats like a flippin' HOT TUB!!! Seriously??? Anyway - they threatened to leave with our stuff We paid them the amount they asked in CASH because they do not take personal checks and we couldn't get a money order for that LARGE AMOUNT and just chalked it us as WE GOT SCREWED!!! To end the deal - I called yesterday to get a reciept that shows we paid so I could get reimbursed moving expenses The owner tells me I still owe him another $from a Missouri feeI told them I would not pay another dime but I needed a receipt to show what I had paid up to this point.....he said NONot until I paid the $and then he hung up on mePIECE OF ***!!!!

Complaint against North American Relocation (NAR) and Interstate Best Moving
We selected the broker North American Relocation in September for our move from Arizona to North Carolina We chose to build our home thus provided the information of a tentative moving date in mid-April We paid the initial $deposit North American Relocation then selected Interstate Best Moving as the company hired to do the move
Our move began on October 11th at our home in Mesa, AZ and was completed the afternoon of October 12th We received calls from both companies prior to the moveNorth American called to confirm the packing details and payment amount for the first certified check with the remaining balance to be paid on the delivery date The call from Interstate Best Movers was not the same information The individual we spoke with (***) stated we needed to pay more than what was told to us by NAR Upon a quick negotiation with Interstate and a call to NAR, he agreed

Movers arrived days late, arriving at 11:30pm at night After that, we never heard from them, and were never given a delivery time After several calls to the company & dispatcher, we were finally able to contact a dispatcher, & told the truck was under repair, still no return phone calls from anyone at the company Tried calling moving company & dispatcher numerous times, no one EVER returned our calls It's now been weeks since pick up, and they keep saying our items will arrive "next" week, which is what they said week HORRIBLE customer service We want our belongings delivered in the same condition they were picked up in, and an adjustment on the fee for having to wait so long We are now paying for our 2nd month of a storage unit, that has nothing in it I feel we should be reimbursed for those fees I find it hard to believe a truck cannot be repaired after weeks of time, and if it's in that bad of shape, the company should have rented another truck

This mover was contracted to pick up my items from a storage unit in KCMO, stored my things for several weeks and delivered them to Ludington, MI Several pieces of antique furniture were damaged, items were missing altogether at delivery I have repeatedly contacted them and have been put off with no effort to resolve the situation
They had guaranteed my things would be in their own unit in storage so that it couldn't be intermixed When I realized that I was missing things altogether, it took weeks for them to check the storage unit so, of course, they found nothing there I asked them to contact the previous customers to whom they delivered sharing the truck but they waited so long to do that with repeated calls to them by me that I doubt that occurred either
At no time was any remorse or consideration shown for the loss of my items and damages their careless personnel incurred They have stopped communicating with me altogether now My things were delivered in mid-May

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/10/06) */
We did not break anything she lying. She had more weight than her estimate that's why she was charged $3300. The pickup time was 5-7 pm because we had to tend to our tire and that's why we were late.
