Review: We hired Midwest Decal Services to perform an installation of an RV at wrap in South Dakota in late April for $3,000. The company left before the job was completed, and sections of the install had to be redone. When we received the invoice from the Midwest Decal Services we didn't act on it as we were waiting to find out what it was going to cost to finish the job and fix the bad areas. We recently received an over 30 days note from them on the invoice, and last Friday the wrap was finally completed correctly at a cost of $800. We told them we are deducting the cost of finishing the wrap from the $3,000 price. Their response was to create a new backdated invoice for the same project and create an additional $1,000 for the same work scope that the original invoice already included. They are claiming that the invoice always existed, even though there are no records of it before yesterday. I would like to avoid litigating the matter if possible.Desired Settlement: Midwest Decal Services should honor the original agreed price of $3,000 minus the $800 it cost to correct their work and rescind the fraudulent second invoice.
