I have tried multiple times to get a return call they have a third party answer and every week I am told I will get a returned call and I do not this has gone on for two months now I made a claim that went unpaid they use a 3rd party to take payments and this 3rd party neglected to update the payment information that was given multiple times resulting in a payment issueI then called into WD to make a payment I was told I had untill the end of the month to make a payment by the Rep I was told my coverage has not lapsedA few hours later the car stalled at the gas stationWe called for roadside and they sent someone to give us a jump, while we were waiting someone have us a jump and we went on down the HWYWe called the roadside company to tell them that we were not in need of the service any longer A couple hours later the car again stalled, it was taken to a repair shop who called to discuss the issue with WD for coverage the Shop was told a block was placed on our acct and that we would have to hang up and call back at At 5pm we call to see why a block is on our acct and the message stated that they were closedWe then paid for the repair a discounted rate by the generious Shop who felt bad for usWe contacted the WD next available day and were told we would recvive a call back in regards to this being paid I got a call back about a week after the incident I was told to send in the recipt and it could be applied to the acctI have now been trying to get a call back from this companyAnd can't get a returned call The call center is just a defensive mechanisms that are used to delay me talking to people who can do anythingWhy promise a returned call and not callObviously if the money paid into this contract was saved instead of given to WD it would have helped more than broken promisesWe were going to get another warranty on the second car our experience has shown us that is probably not going to happen at least with this company Thinking of contacting DORA see if they can help me with WDNo follow through by WD be careful please
The Warranty is for years paid over 24months if 7months are paid then *month's of the years are paid into already

The warranty only covers replacement part and cost to install replacement partDoes not include any additional work, such as, prepping area to uninstall and install part, shipping if part is ordered, or troubleshooting to determine which part is defectiveThe bulk of the cost to repair fell outside of what the warranty coversI would not recommend a warranty from this company

The website is misleadingOn their website for Standard Advantage + they state "Premium component coverage for repairs on your used vehicle, including seals and gaskets, air conditioning, cooling system, fuel system and electronics."
However in the fine print of the contract they explain failure of the gaskets is not coveredSo for example, a head gasket failure that causes engine damage (one of the most common failures) is not covered

steer clear beware this is break down coverage only! get wear and tear coverage save yourselves the hassleI have two warranty from this company I'm so many payments in that I can't get out of the contracts and break even I bought my new vehicle from a dealership got a warranty direct warranty on it months later the transmission blew took a month for them to get the trans in after making me tow it to different places and I had to pay out of pocket for all tows, all diagnostics, the rental for the month, they were willing to reimburse me rental daythey don't answer the phone you will be on hold for hours to be told have the shop call and they tell the shop to have the customer callI was standing next to the shop owner we were both calling aamco offered them a transmission on day of having it they lied and wanted to ship an old one with 80k on it took an extra week they said that the wouldn't pay the rental even from that date when they directly made choices to delay the process the whole timego to *** get wear and tear not get stuck like me this is all around a horrible company

Yes I did feel good at the thought of having warranty on my vehicleUntil there was a need for it
Yes I did take the car to an appropriate repair shopHalf an hour after leaving the repair shop, the engine seized, YOU tell me the shop repair mechanic reported it was due to carbon build up and that's why motor seizedI have had the engine examined by another shop and there was no carbon issueYou cold hearted dishonest people inform me that the first report is all that mattersReally? You are a dishonest company periodMy loss was 6200.00$ due to your unreliable actionsEvery chance I have, I will and do, inform anyone of your slippery waysI am sure your claims agent got a bonus for denying claims, well done you crooks

I would not purchase any extra warranty from this company After years of making payments on time and spending over a thousand dollarsI missed a payment because my bank card had changedINDS Did not try to get a hold of meThey had the wrong phone number...even though my number has been the same for years They cancelled my policy and said that it was my fault and even if I paid the missed payments and tried to cancel it...I would not get any type of refundDon't make the same mistake, Do your research and choose a different company When you get letters from companies stating your warranty is about to expire...make sure it is from your dealership

GARBAGE!!! I paid $1800 for the diamond coverage. 10 months after my purchase of a used car with 40k miles the engine starts to knock. Claim denied after 3 months without my car, because " the technician couldn't demonstrate the failure" but they wont say how the failure needs to be demonstrated. Rude customer service worst experience ever these people are crooks DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL NOT COVER YOUR CLAIM. I had all my paperwork I took my car to a dealership now I'm stuck with a blown motor and a warranty that good for toilet paper.

I was very disappointed with my first experience to submit a claim. Website indicates "No other company handles claims faster or more efficiently. We authorize thousands claims in an average of ten (10) minutes or less. Our average time on hold is under three (3) minute and you'll never get a busy signal when calling." However, our Honda technician waited for a representative for 20 minutes and then was on the phone for over 40 minutes. He characterized Warranty Direct as "a nightmare" and "terrible." When "failure" repairs were denied by Warranty Direct, he asked "what do you cover?" He was told by Warranty Direct that they will cover the use of only the "cheapest available" parts, even if they are generic and not OEM, despite the fact that a sample contract from Warranty Direct says "like kind and quality" replacement parts. In fact, I've been paying Warranty Direct for 8 months - never got my official contract or member number. The payment company, however, gave me my member number when our credit card number had to be updated in their system. Warranty Direct only reimbursed $30 for one day of a rental vehicle, even though the sample contract says $35/day for each day of required service (which was 2 days in this instance). This was a terrible experience, and I want out of my contract. Over $3300 in repairs, Warranty Direct covered approximately $700.

Very shady warranty company. Will try many ways to not pay claims. Then we you ask for a refund they make you jump through hoops. Losers
