Thank you for forwarding Mr [redacted] 's complaint to us.? When his car was towed in on the 29th, it was assumed that the repairs would be covered under warranty.? However, it turned out that the car had had no maintenance done during its lifetime which Mr [redacted] did not disclose, thus [redacted] made the decision that the repairs and rental car would not be covered.? If they had been, the rental car charges would have been included in the repair.? Please note that we were not reimbursed for the diagnosis and time to try and get the repair covered under warranty and did not charge Mr [redacted] for the ? $that we had invested in the job.? Mr [redacted] had the rental car from November 29th to December 5th when he learned that the repairs would not be covered.? That is a total of days at [redacted] 's reimbursement rate of $per day.? That brings the total to $245, which is less than? the $315? we gave him and way less than the $that he claims is owed to him.? Since we absorbed $and his rental expense should have been $245, I feel that we were? fair in how we handled this situation.?
