Interstate Towing

They charged me $800 to take care of my car while on their lot. The consumer assumes that at least his property will be safe from break-ins, theft and damage while on their watch. They parked it in an unsafe location, someone loading or unloading another vehicle allowed the other car to run into mine. The only thing Interstate Towing did was compile a police report. They reused to accept financial liability for allowing this to happen on their watch. The manager basically told me it’s my problem. And charged me $800! I couldn’t get my vehicle back until I paid the fees they demanded. Now this new damage will cost me $4,000-$5,000.

I called AAA for service to tow a vehicle to my residenceI waited for the driver to arrive with my vehicleAfter mins of no vehicle or driver I call AAA to contact driver of his whereabouts They confirmed my addressThey put me on hold to try and locate driver to confirm address of drop offDriver confirmed that he dropped of vehicle to correct residenceI'm standing in front of my residence and no vehicle of mine in siteDispatcher says yes their driver described my residence to themThe driver goggled my residence and still wasn't able to see that the picture and the locate he dropped off the vehicle does not match This service was unacceptable Finally after calling the dispatcher and the cops they realize driver took the car to the wrong residence I had to go search for the vehicle and waste my night waiting til another driver tows the car to the correct locationI don't know how your company conducts businessBut if the driver didn't see any on

AAA dispatched Interstate Towing for us, and gave us a hour estimate Interstate was there in minutes My car had an ignition switch that wouldn't turn (stuck in Off), so the care couldn't be put in gear to tow (stuck in Park) Our tow driver, [redacted] knew how to disconnect the shifter cable from the transmission so it could go into neutral...without damaging the car, and even saving the little plastic clip that connected the cable He was quick and very courteous It was an excellent experience Quick, Knowledgeable, and Courteous I left this same review at Yelp also These are the guys to call, or ask AAA to call And if you can, ask for [redacted]

Here are the facts***'s vehicle was impounded at a local Dairy Queen parking lot*** was visiting a local StarBucks, not Dairy QueenBecause the primary Starbucks lot was full and she did not want to park in the overflow lot, or on the city streetShe parked in the DQ lotThe DQ owner requested that she be towed*** paid for the impound and we released her vehicle*** was upset because her friend was not charged in the same parking lotHowever, we had not yet hooked up to ***s friends vehicle, hence no charge
Furthermore, we will not offer a refund of any sort in this situationGrand Forks, ND has a city ordinance that sets these rates, and we strictly adhere to the law
