After speaking to our installing technician in regards to
the alleged damage we determined that the damage occurred not due to negligence
on his behalf but due to actions made by the customer. Our technician stated
that he asked the customer if it would be possible for them to move their car
so...

he would be able to carry the ladder safely without any risk of hitting the
parked vehicle. It was at this point in time where the customer volunteered to
help our technician carry the ladder instead of moving their vehicle. Our
technician was carrying the front end of the ladder and the customer was
carrying the back end of the ladder and it was at this time which the back end,
being carried by the customer, struck their parked vehicle. The claim is being
denied because of this; our technician asked the customer if it would be
possible for them to move their vehicle so it was no longer an obstacle for him
to navigate in carrying his ladder but instead of obliging this request the
customer instead volunteered to help him carry the ladder and the end in which
the customer was responsible for was the one that struck the vehicle. Had the
customer not created the environment in which the damage occurred there would
not have been an opportunity for the ladder to graze the car; the entire
environment in which the damage occurred was a byproduct of the customers’
behavior with no negligence on our technicians’ behalf.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The technician never asked to have the car moved or that easily would have been done the technician asked for help with the ladder if he had  asked for my vehicle to be moved that would have been done. That is furthest from the truth. I am seeking damages to be paid for and what technician states is untrue.  Regards,   [redacted]
