I made payments on a wedding dress the business closed down with no notice I was not refunded my money or provided the product.04/14/14CHECK CRD PURCHASE 04/12 INTIMATE BRIDAL 50$ I paid via my visa card with the [redacted]. The company closed down without refunding any of my money at all and without notifying me of their closing. Desired Settlementi would just like my money refunded to me.

I returned a dress and received a $200.00 store credit in November 2013. The store went out of business recently and did not give any warning.In October 2013 I bought a dress at the Intimate in New Bern for the [redacted] Ball. Before the ball, my date got orders to deploy. I called the store to explain my situation and they offered me a store credit. I took the dress back and they gave me a store voucher. In April 2014, the Intimate did not notify the public they were closing their doors and just closed. I was able to get an email to them before they deleted their account but they did not respond. I have no dress and a store voucher for $200 for a store that no longer exists. At the very least they could have advertised they were going out of business and I could have purchased a gown, shoes or accessories so I would not be out $200.00. I am a young professional and $200.00 is a lot of money. They have disconnected their phone, their internet, and there is no way to contact them.Desired SettlementI would like to receive a refund for my store voucher. They took my money and I received nothing in return.

Paid $950.00 for a wedding dress. Balance of $750 to be paid upon delivery. Did not receive dress as business went under.On 6/28/13 I put a deposit in cash (receipt #XXXXX) of $400 for a wedding dress for my daughter. The agreement as written on the receipt was that I would call in payments until a balance of $498.97 was reached whereupon the dress would be ordered to be shipped to Intimate Bridal. On 9/15/13 I called in a payment of $150.00 charged to my [redacted] debit card. On 10/3/13 I called in a payment of $200 again using [redacted] debit card. On 11/12 I called in another payment of $200 using [redacted] debit card. In January my daughter was told the order would be placed to have dress shipped. In March my daughter was told dress would be shipped to the shop on 3/31/14. My daughter called in April to see if dress had arrived and was told not yet. My daughter called again the beginning of May and was told dress had not arrived. On Tuesday, May 6, 2014 it was on the news that the Company filed bankruptcy. My daughter called Intimate Bridal that day and was told that they found her dress and another company was holding it. She was informed that in order to receive the dress, I would have to file this form, get my money back and repay the other company for the dress. My bank could not put a hold on the debit card payments because the Bridal Shop had already processed the payments.Desired SettlementI wish to be refunded the $950 I paid for the dress so I can provide the company that now has the dress the full payment so we can receive it.
