As per our review of the complaint we have opted to immediately issue a refund to the customer as of June **, 2016 and have contacted the third-party account recovery department and removed the customer from A delinquent status. Our company policy is to put our customers first. However upon...

reviewing the details of this dispute we feel we could've handled this more diplomatically and for that we apologize and have without prejudiced relieved the customer in question of all liabilities and payments due to our company. Based on this mishandling our entire staff has been scheduled to go through a reeducation program which includes customer service and proper etiquette relating to all and any customer concerns. On behalf of the Intoxx Fitness company I personally apologize to Gary and would like to offer him a one year complimentary membership for him and two other members of his family each with one year membership free. Review: I used to work next door and I used to do the marketing for this company. When I worked next door I got a membership to this gym. After getting a new job and moving to a new state, I called tried to cancel.

They told me I had to do it in person. So I took a day off my new job and went in and tried to cancel in person. I couldn't because "Anthony" wasn't there that day. I offered to pay a fee to cancel but that wasn't an opinion for some reason.

About three months later, I lost my credit card and they failed a billing and called to ask for a new card. I explained I lived in New Jersey now and didn't want the membership anymore. Still not an opinion. I called again and tried to speak to "Anthony" or Carlo the owner. Still nothing. There were never there.

After this they had a worker call me every week looking for payment for something I have no way of using and didn't want.Desired Settlement: After harassing me for months with calls and letters to my parents' house, they put me into collections. This is an unfair and intimidating business practices. Today my father forwarded me a piece of mail from a collection agency. This whole thing has been a nightmare. I want them to completely refund every dollar I "owe" to this collection agency and every dollar I ever gave them.
