This email is in response to complaint #by *** ** *** against Intrastate Pest Control. sans-serif;">Intrastate did enter into a contract for treatment of bedbugs on November 24, 2015. This contract was for a combination of chemical and thermal treatment of the property for bedbugs. The treatment process consists of the application of pesticides in critical areas as well as applying heat to the property. Once the heating of the property is adequate (usually 3-hours), the windows are then opened to allow the property to cool down for occupancy. Ms*** said that she found a window open in the property upon her return. As stated, the windows are opened to allow for cooling off, but apparently, if Ms*** found a window open upon returning, this window was left open in error. This is the first we have heard about a window being open when Ms*** returned.Ms*** also said that she called our office about seeing "a bedbug" or weeks after treatment. It has now been almost months since our treatment of the property, and after some research on our end, we can neither deny nor confirm such a conversation took place and with whom it may have taken place. We were able to confirm that Ms*** called our office in late March or early April and said she has bedbugs again. The Manager explained to Ms*** that it was now almost months since our treatment so there was no warranty remaining. The Manager was going to discuss options available to Ms***, but once Ms. *** hear there was no warranty, Ms*** stated that she knew that we were going to tell her that and she hung the phone up on the Manager. This was the last communication we know of with Ms***.For the record, we do give a day warranty with most bedbug treatments and Ms*** did have such warranty. It is also not uncommon to see "a bedbug" after treatment as the insects many times are located inside walls as well as throughout the housing property. This is the reason we usually apply pesticides as well as the heat. The reason we only give a day warranty is because bedbugs are brought into a property by some occupant or visitor, as such, they can be reintroduced the same way. We are sorry Ms*** is not happy with our service and wish she would have talked more with the Manager in an attempt to reach an equitable resolution for both parties. After doing a great deal of research in about termite treatments, I contracted with this company to treat our home for termite protection which I expected to last five years Now eight years later I called them again for an inspection fully expecting we would be treating the house, with fingers crossed we would not have damageAfter the inspection I was told that not only did we have no evidence of damage, the research was showing that the treatment [Commodore] was effective for up to years This company could have easily sold me another treatment and didn't Impressive!

Review: On 11/24/15 I paid the Intrastate Pest Control Co. $750.00 to come to my home to rid it of bed bugs. Intrastate came on 12/03/15 and said I must leave the house while the treatment was done. I left and returned shortly before the treatment was to be completed. The worker had already left and when checking the house I found it to be completely cooled due to the bedroom window being left wide open. As part of the treatment is high heat I was curious as to why the worker had not stayed the entire time allotted and after being told the house would be very hot also curious about the open window and completely cooled state I found it in, but as I had never had this done before I let it go thinking I had misunderstood. Two or three weeks later I found a bed bug and immediately called Intrastate to ask them to come and take care of the problem. I was told " This is normal and it was just a sick, left over bug. Don't worry unless you see more. " March 27, 2016 I found another one but thought it was an isolated left over since I did not see evidence of more. On the morning of April 1, 2016 I found 3 adults and a nest of bugs. I called Intrastate and was told that I had waited too long and they could do nothing. I said I had called the first time I saw a bug and again the man said that was just a sick one. I feel that the job was not done properly in the first place and that $750.00 is a lot of money for what I received. The least they could have done at the first sign of trouble was to come and verify that it was a " sick " bug, especially since I stated to the person that first call that the worker was not there at the house the entire time and the house was cool long before it should have been. I now have to deal with this problem again and I believe Intrastate Pest Control Co. owes me a complete refund due to not completing the job properly and poor follow up customer service.Desired Settlement: I believe, due to the fact that I did call Intrastate at the first sign of trouble and was told not to worry; also that I know the worker did not stay at my home the prescribed amount of time and he left a window open while and after the heat treatment was ongoing my agreement with Intrastate Pest Control was not honored. I do not want Intrastate to try again as I would really hate to have this as an ongoing problem. I would like for Intrastate to refund my payment of $750.00 so I can look else where for help.

After doing a great deal of research in 2008 about termite treatments, I contracted with this company to treat our home for termite protection which I expected to last five years. Now eight years later I called them again for an inspection fully expecting we would be treating the house, with fingers crossed we would not have damage.
After the inspection I was told that not only did we have no evidence of damage, the research was showing that the treatment [Commodore] was effective for up to 15 years. This company could have easily sold me another treatment and didn't. Impressive!

Review: On Friday 03/28/14, I received an official letter and invoice from Intrastate pest Control Co., Inc. The letter, signed by [redacted], alleges that I owe $845.00 for a service(s) that I never requested or received at an address in which I have never lived. The invoice (Invoice# [redacted]) also states a business name and address of "[redacted]." I can only assume that this is actually the address of another branch of Intrastate pest control and that they contracted of the services of [redacted] in order to attempt to locate the debtor. I can also only assume that [redacted] is the type of business that prides itself on mediocre performance, [redacted] investigative procedures, and a completely unethical use of someone's private information. And, that they are too lazy to check their facts - randomly picking anyone with name of [redacted] (A quick internet search will turn up hundreds of '[redacted] who are not me.) Should I file a separate complaint about this company??

I called IPC after hours that evening and left an angry message (not my finest hour,) requesting immediate attention and termination be given to the mistaken bill and a return call, to which I received no return response. The next Monday 03/31, I called and spoke with [redacted]. I requested to speak with [redacted] or some else with Administrative authority. I was informed that none of these parties were available and I would have to await a return call the next morning. On Tuesday 04/01/14, I did not receive a call from the company. I called them again in the afternoon - I did not get an answer or leave a message. On Wednesday 04/02, I called again. I did not get the name of the receptionist but, after a brief hold, she told me that I would have to wait for a call back. Frustrated, I got off of the phone and decided to file a complaint here.

I have lived in my current residence in [redacted] since 01/01/2008. The invoice was sent to [redacted] on 12/27/2010 - I have NEVER lived in [redacted] or requested/received ANY service(s) from Intrastate Pest Control.Desired Settlement: I demand that this invoice be nullified immediately and any ties with this bill and my identity be expunged. If this affects my credit in any negative way, then I will seek litigation. After that, a formal apology for the mistake and the poor customer service would be the right thing for the company to do.
