[redacted] ***I need to get more information about which [redacted] and [redacted] number you are purchasing so that I can verify the information you provided A couple of things to keep in mind is that you are not obligated to use CDI for the installation of this hardwood You can have the standard flooring that is included in the purchase price of the home installed at no additional cost to you and then hire your own flooring contractor to install the hardwood after you close escrow We often have Homeowners that feel they can get a better price on their flooring after closing escrow due to having relatives or other connections in the flooring industry

I am rejecting this response because:***, molds erupts with time; yeast rises with time; mildew grows with time; time is an element to lifeWe moved into the house and were waiting for the month inspection which never happened since an employee at ** told us that they do not do month inspections hence we had to initiate thisYour *** guy as you stated came out to do what CDI asked him to do; however, Mr*** we were told by the builder that the investigator will come out and do scientific test on finding out why the carpet is loosing texture, density/thickness feels weak, and overall looks TERRIBLE!!!! We don't know what changed from the time you guys contacted *** and his carpet whispering skills of not even having a UV lightI am not bashing him, I am bashing myself to have been taken like a fool to believe that you guys can be trusted and we will have test performed but nothing was doneYou asked for a scientific analysis, attached it isIf the foundation itself is weak, how will the roof remain stable? We adhere CDI to do the right thing and fix this issue Thank you

We have not ignored any of your requests and we are not acting unethically in any way shape or form. We are your advocate. We have reached out to the manufacturer of your carpet pad. They will be sending out a representative to inspect the pad. You have to understand, CDI didn't manufacture anything that was installed in your home. None of your issues are installation related. We are the middle man trying to get the manufacturer to address your concerns and issues. Why are you directing your anger at us? We are the ones trying to help you. After researching the communication trail from the Manufacturer, our Salesperson and...

your Son, it doesn't appear that our Salesperson communicated the change of a 2-cord operating system yet approved the change with the Manufacturer.  The Salesperson for this job is out on Maternity leave and we are unable to get her side of the story.  Since we have no email verification or signed change order, we will be refunding you the $1,770 deposit that was paid.  Please contact our Sacramento General Manager, [redacted], at [redacted] to begin the process of a refund.  We apologize for the lack of communication and not meeting your expectation.[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted]'s inspection is considered null and void unless he is the carpet whisperer. His inspection did not consist of anything scientific, no UV lights, no ph sample, etc. On Friday the builder [redacted] had their cleaner over as per [redacted]s request which you guys didn't communicate with us. As per cleaner, the spots are all over and NOT caused by us as there is no chemical residue. It is something not by us. We expect ethical actions on your end as we all now know that the consumer is not at fault. Please read carpet cleaners inspection.
