The complainant contracted with our company in September, 2014 for the preparation of a Basic Information Package (BIP) report on his invention. The BIP assembles basic information about an invention, idea, concept or new product and the history of...

its development in a report format. In addition, a Preliminary Patentability Search and Opinion was conducted for the idea by a patent law firm to which InventHelp refers its clients' patent work. This information is also included in the BIP.The complainant also signed a Retail Installment Contract with Universal Payment Corporation (UPC), agreeing to make 3 monthly payments for the services for which he contracted. He failed to make the monthly payments in October, November and December 2014, therefore, his account became a collection account on January 5, 2015. Just this week, however, the complainant did pay his account in full.
Upon receipt of this complaint we reached out to the client and resolved his concerns. Accordingly, we request that your file on this matter be closed.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]  I was lied to he told me after I have paid for $746 for Bip fees and $199 for patient attorney fees = $945 then he said the I could get the utility patent for $1450 and when it was time to pay he said I couldn't unless agreed to pay $10,900 so I hired a lawyer to do it all for $2000 and I didn't have to pay $10,900 like he was trying to make me agree to pay he must think I was born yesterday he straight out lied months later I am still mad to be lied toand for taking my hard earned money

Review: Back in 9/10/2014 I had a meeting with [redacted] and he explain to me that I will pay up front $945.00 for the basic package that I had to get and once that was complete I could then purchase the utility patent application for $1,450.00 but he lied after I had Paid the $945.00 he turn around and said that way after my 10 days was up to cancel that the $1,450.00 will only apply if I get one of the other packages for $10,900 or $13,400 or 15,900 but he did not say that at first so he led me to believe that I could received a utility patent for another $1,450 only. Only to find out that was not true he lied to me and if I had known that I wouldn't of gave them not one damn bad business.so I had to go with another company and spend more money because of his liesDesired Settlement: $945.00 for misleading me and telling me that I had to get the $945 and then I could pay the 1,450.00 when he knew that was not true it's been months ago and I am still pissed.
