I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle was posted on multiple websites as coming with a lifetime warrantyBe it on accident or "Bait and Switch" a 12-month warranty does not compare to a lifetime warrantyThis is not a reasonable solution to this problemIts not like this is a $vehicle, we`re talking $I do hope we can find a reasonable solution to this problem as this would be the second vehicle I`ve purchased from IGH Hyundai

Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 7, 2015/10/28) */ The business has reached out to me directly and apologizedThe $refund has been receivedI consider this case resolved

Response received via e-mail to Revdex.com:"On Saturday March in the late afternoon, Mr*** came to Inver Grove Hyundai asking about trading his Camaro in on a SUV. Our Salesperson Mike Said showed him a Ford Explorer
http://www.invergrovehyundai.com/used/Ford/2011-Ford-Explorer-59f43b140a0e0adf61... We appraised his car and agreed on a price. Mr*** asked to take the Explorer over the weekend to show his wife. At no time did anyone mention our lifetime warranty on Saturday. (Neither the sales person nor the customer) On Monday Mr*** came back with the Explorer and said he wanted to go through with the purchase, but wanted to be sure it came with the lifetime warranty. Mike immediately stated that the warranty was not available on the Explorer due to the miles being too high. Mr*** asked to speak to someone else, and I told him the same thing. We are not sure exactly how the Ford Explorer Mr*** was interested in, got flagged for our lifetime powertrain warranty on the cars.com web site. We can’t duplicate the advertisement he showed us, but on the advertisement I saw on his phone, it clearly showed the lifetime warranty was available on this car Someone in our organization could have been at fault, but it was not intentional and it seems to have been corrected. From the very first mention of the warranty, every member of our staff told Mr*** it was only available on vehicles under 90,miles and the Explorer did not qualify. Our lifetime warranty is purchased through Zurich insuranceThis link is to the disclaimer on our web site. http://www.invergrovehyundai.com/life-time-warranty-on-pre-owned.htm This warranty is only available on vehicles that pass our inspection, are less than years old and have less than 90,miles on the odometer at the time of sale We do not have the ability to go outside of these parameters. The rules are set by the insurance company, not by us. The vehicle in question has more than 100,miles on it. The longest warranty with similar coverage that we can offer is a month, 12,mile warranty also through Zurich, which we indeed did offer to Mr***’s for free on Monday. We did this because of the mistake and to try and make amends. Mr*** elected not to purchase the Explorer.Skip ***General ManagerInver Grove Hyundai"

I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle was posted on multiple websites as coming with a lifetime warranty. Be it on accident or "Bait and Switch" a 12-month warranty does not compare to a lifetime warranty. This is not a reasonable solution to this problem. Its not like this is a $2000 vehicle, we`re talking $20000. I do hope we can find a reasonable solution to this problem as this would be the second vehicle I`ve purchased from IGH Hyundai.

On November 11th 2017 the customer brought her vehicle into our service department in extremely poor running condition, vehicle wah exibiting multiple miss fires and would not stay running. We set the customer up in a rental vehicle. On 11/10/17 we contacted he custome reguarding repairs...

and was told the could not afford to repair vehicle. We asked for our vehicle to be returns 11/10/17. Customer stated they could not make it back to dealership because of work scheduld. They were given the option to reutnr he vehicle by 6:00pm 11/11/17 and also stated they could not. I spoke to customer and gave them an extension until monday 11/13/17. They did not return. We left multiple messages 11/14/17 4:15pm, 11/15/17 8:08am, 11/15/17 9:07am, 11/16/17 8:48 am, 11/17/17 7:40am.  Stating the the vehicle needed to be returned or we would report it stolen. The customers vehicle was not drivable once it reached us. We do not have the car all tore apart, it is simply not drivable extensive engine damage.  We recovered our vehicle 11/20/17 9:40 pm.  The customer has ben given several ptions to retrieve their belongings.  We have now delivered the customer a few requested items. They are free to take their vehicle and pick up their belonings during normal business hours.
