Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: When I called I was told that both boats was ftwhen in fact, the one that they were going to give me the Xwas only ft One feet is a big deal when it comes to boats The Centurion was our second option and was listed online as having a heater, when we wanted to go with the Centurion we were then told that the heater was leaking water and was taken out We had called at 3:pm on October 10th,to reserve the boat and finding out all the discrepancy on the boats at 4:pm Oct 10th, an hour later and had felt uncomfortable about moving forward with this untruthful and unethical company, we tried to cancel Of course, this greedy and money hungry company thinks it's ethical to charge someone for wanting to cancel an hour later because of how dishonest they were about their boats When I had called, they in fact did NOT make it clear that they would charge the full amount, just that they were holding the credit card on file to hold the boat until I got there later to pay with a check After reading other reviews and hearing the same complaint of how these guys wrongfully charge other boaters and bully people into paying for outrageous fees, I must warn others not to do business with this company It seems as though this is what they do, conveniently send anything they can to collections and in hopes of collecting some form of payment This practice has to be illegal in some way I will make sure this company does not bully more unsuspecting customers I will also write to the district attorney in the area and look to see if what they are doing is LEGAL When time permits, we will also contact Get Gephart Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Customer reserved a day boat rental total amount $3, Paid there non-refundable reservation fee of $to reserve the boat and agreed to the terms of our reservation policy through phone and website Customer cancelled and forfeits the reservation fee Reservation policy on website " To reserve your boat rental, jet ski rental, or chartered boating services we do require that you call us, and one of our knowledgeable team members can help make your reservation There is a $to $non-refundable reservation fee, per piece of equipment that will be applied toward your total boat rental, waverunner rental or any other watercraft service we offer This reserves your equipment for the time you specifyCancellations must be done days in advance of any rental or chartered service otherwise the full quoted price is due when canceling the service." Customer cancelled before the day non cancellation period so they did not have to pay the remaining rental price of $2,

This customer was told multiple times about our reservation - cancellation policy and called times before reserving to get all the information he needed before making the reservation He agreed in full to the terms of his reservation which was clearly explained to him through our reservation specialist and also our website We do not allow customers to reserve until they are ready to fully commit to the reservation policy All calls to our reservation line are recorded for quality and we certify and will prove that this customer reserved, fully understood and agreed to our policies and was very happy to rent the boat

This customer agreed to pay for the full rental rate which is recorded and he's responsible for the full rental rate when cancelingWe have already sent him to collections and our current in house attorney is setting up for other lawsuits against this customerThis person can pay the full rental rate as agreed and remove all reviews and his account will be paid in full and the Credit bureau's will be notified he has paid in full

I am rejecting this response because: Again, this company thinks people don't know their rights and is also threatening lawsuitsI would be surprise as to any attorney would take their case My reviews are of my experience and is freedom of speech What did these guys think when they charge someone for what they didn't use? That they would write great reviews? I will await their suit and shall counter suit for my time and attorney fees

I am rejecting this response because:  When I called I was told that both boats was 22 ft. when in fact, the one that they were going to give me the X1 was only 21 ft.  One feet is a big deal when it comes to boats.  The Centurion was our second option and was listed online as having a heater, when we wanted to go with the Centurion we were then told that the heater was leaking water and was taken out.  We had called at 3:45 pm on October 10th,2015 to reserve the boat and finding out all the discrepancy on the boats at 4:45 pm Oct 10th, 2015 an hour later and had felt uncomfortable about moving forward with this untruthful and unethical company, we tried to cancel.  Of course, this greedy and money hungry company thinks it's ethical to charge someone 3650.00 for wanting to cancel an hour later because of how dishonest they were about their boats.  When I had called, they in fact did NOT make it clear that they would charge the full amount, just that they were holding the credit card on file to hold the boat until I got there later to pay with a check.  After reading other reviews and hearing the same complaint of how these guys wrongfully charge other boaters and bully people into paying for outrageous fees, I must warn others not to do business with this company.  It seems as though this is what they do, conveniently send anything they can to collections and in hopes of collecting some form of payment.  This practice has to be illegal in some way.  I will make sure this company does not bully more unsuspecting customers.  I will also write to the district attorney in the area and look to see if what they are doing is LEGAL.  When time permits, we will also contact Get Gephart.
