We ordered 2 inverters in April 2014, wasn't what we needed so we returned them after getting RMA, it's been a month and NO refund.We placed an order for 2 inverters, what we thought would be "pure sine wave" inverters in April 2014. We were disappointed to find out otherwise. We opened only 1 to see how it would work and after 2 months it pooped. So we emailed several times (filed) to obtain an RMA to return for refund. We FINALLY got an RMA and sent them via [redacted] with tracking number #[redacted], of which was delivered Aug 13th. But we still haven't seen our refund. We've called and left msg's and emailed them for a refund or response to no avail.Desired SettlementWe paid $249 per Inverter so we are due $498.

Does not honor warranty.Purchased inverter less than 6 months ago. It never worked properly and finally quit working altogether. Inverters R Us claims on its site that after 30 days and less than a year a product can be exchanged with a Return Merchandise Authorization code. when I tried to do this, they said I would have to go directly to the manufacturer and gave me their phone number. I do not have any of the records of the purchase. It was a [redacted] inverter and cost over 400 dollars. It should have lasted a lifetime instead of only a few months.Desired SettlementI only wanted an exchange for another inverter of similar value and type. I did not want another [redacted] product as I discovered this brand to be junk. I asked for an Aims 2000 watt inverter for an exchange and did not care if it was of similar price range or a pure sine. I thought this was more than reasonable but apparently this rip off outfit did not.Business Response what address do you have on file for us as we do not received Revdex.com notices?Within 30 days we can issue a credit, after 30 days, the customer must contact the manufacturer for any exchanges. This was purchased 5/13/2013. Please see below the email string between us and the customer, I really do not see what the complaint is for:Jan 18to Inverters R UsI will apologize for my previous messages. They were unfair and uncalled for. However, your return policy does not mention anything about going to the manufacturer for an exchange. And I did say this product never performed as it claimed and upon further research I found it is not even a true sine inverter once it is under a load. I would not want anything to do with that manufacturer and to exchange it for the same product would only be inviting the same problems all over again. I think you should be more clear with your return policy because the way its presently written suggests that Inverters R Us will handle everything about an exchange. Sorry to have troubled you. I once again asked for them to refund the $32.99 that was charged to my credit card as they had not shipped me the item. Once again the company failed to respond to my email.As the company was refusing to communicate with me I was forced to file a[redacted] dispute. The company responded to the[redacted] dispute stating, "The cables were delivered on 7/16 via [redacted]: [redacted]".I requested the company review the above listed tracking number as it lists the package as weighing one pound. The box, fuse holder/fuse, and 6" jumper cable that I received weighed one pound just as the shipping number stated. If the package had included 8' of 4awg wire as the company claimed the package would have weighed more than one pound. If the company used packing slips they would see they forgot to include the 4' of power and ground wire in the shipment. Mistakes happen. Unfortunately this company has repeatedly refused to correct the mistake THEY made.Desired SettlementI paid $199.99 for the power inverterI paid $25 for the fuse & fuse holderI paid $7.99 for the 6 inch jumper cableI paid $32.99 for the 4 foot 4 gauge cables that never cameI paid $35 for shipping totaling The total on the order was $299.98.The company refunded $15 of the shipping price as the inverter did not arrive within 3 days as I had paid extra for 3 day shipping. The only acceptable resolution to this matter is a complete refund of the $32.99 that my credit card was charged for the cables that were not shipped to me. A company cannot take money for an item then refuse to ship the item and refuse to refund the money. Business Response refund issued 8/24/2015, we are sorry to learn you were mis-shipped the cables.
