Go with someone like [redacted] They may charge more, but you'll have much more piece of mind, great communication, a quoted price they will stick to, you'll be able to track your things, and you even get to choose the date and time of day they deliver it (for those who need accommodation for work schedules, etc)If you can't go with U-Haul, then my second piece of advice would be to do your research in advance, as much of it as you canThis is something I can't stress enoughElite takes advantage of those who don't have a large timeframe to move, and they bait and switch you with their "quotes" and hidden feesPay attention to the other reviews of similar experiences to my own and save yourself the immense headache

Much like the last reviewer, my experience with this company has been a nightmareThey tell you lies and then hide behind the contractI told the representative I was dealign with that there would be no point in my sending goods unless they could arrive by 08/It's now 09/The delivery date was set for 08/ The guy I spoke to said I should be in receipt of the goods by 08/and told me there'd be no problem with getting them by 08/ Simply put, they lie and they don't careA business like this should be made to pay for all the misery they've caused

- The quote they provided increased more than 50% ($1,to $2,200) the day of pickup, and I was forced to pay or they wouldn't move my items - The company's operators were rude throughout the entire process, giving me no updates in the shipping process and saying there was no way to track my stuffThey refused to give me the dispatch or driver's number until the day before the delivery, meaning my stuff could've been anywhere for nearly four weeks - The estimate they gave me over the phone multiple times was 5-business days, and my stuff arrived in business days (roughly month)I received a call business days in saying my stuff was just being packed for delivery, with no reason provided for the delay - Three items arrived completely broken, which led to a nightmare claims process

We were quoted roughly $for 2, bedroom apartments of boxes and furniture; by the end we were given a total of almost $4k (from the other reviews clearly this is their M.O.)There isn't enough characters allowed to type on here what ALL I really want you to knowNot only did we cringe watching these young inexperience gentlemen drop just about every box and piece of furniture we owned (not to mention they pilled up all the boxes in front and the sprinters went off and soaked the bottom of a good portion of our boxes), but when we finally got it all unpacked we found our 63' flat screen shattered, the TV stand busted, EVERY piece of wood furniture nicked (bed frames, nightstands, mirrors, etc)Just a really horrific experienceI was sold on the custsrv I received with my initial quote only to be totally let down by the lack of care and professionalism and not to mention how rude the manager I spoke to wasAside from them charging 2x + more DON'T USE THEM!

I have not yet made the move, but felt compelled to let everyone know what a positive experience it has been just in having conversations and getting an estimate for the move John was very willing to give me information about how to pack to cut down on the space and have the move cost a bit less He was very patient with all my questions and very easy to work with
I have done two cross country moves and don't remember things going this smoothly

This is a very bad company to deal withI was quoted a set price only to be quoted double that amount on the day of moving! (to 1800.00)Then was told by a manager of some sort to go to another moving company, after advising me that my deposit was non-refundableThen he had the nerves to state to me that I would be liable if I gave them a negative review! HahahahahaThis is a joke of an operationBy the way, He did try to blame the Sales Person for not having full experienceYup, Passing the buckAll is well anyway because I went with their competitors (with the same name but not affiliated with them in Illinois) and got a better deal!

I am very satisfied with their serviceI reserved their moving truck to move me from Illinois to florida and had to pay $depositI called them and canceled my reservation and they told me that it's gonna take business days for the refund to be depositeddays went pass and I still didn't receive a deposit for my refund so I called them back and Jennifer answered the phone asked me for my name and pulled up my account and noticed that it wasn't processed so she needed to call me back so she can talk with the customer service department to find out what the delay wasshe called me back about minutes later and told me that it's all processed and u should be receiving your refund immediately I then hung up the phone and checked my account, but nothing was there, but when I got up this morning, my refund was deposited into my accountthank u elite for great customer serviceU all were excellent in resolving this matter

Simply put, they lie and they don't care. A business like this should be made to pay for all the misery they've caused.

If you can't go with U-Haul, then my second piece of advice would be to do your research in advance, as much of it as you can. This is something I can't stress enough. Elite takes advantage of those who don't have a large timeframe to move, and they bait and switch you with their "quotes" and hidden fees. Pay attention to the other reviews of similar experiences to my own and save yourself the immense headache.

Worst move I ever made! Too many things to complain about! Just don't use them.!!!!?? They were a nightmare!!

I do not recommend this mover. First, the quote was over the phone and not verified in person. The original quote was for $2,000, the final cost was $5,000. I understand being somewhat different, but not 2.5 times. Because the quote was so far off, the truck picking up our goods did not have adequate room or packing materials. A good deal of goods were outside the truck, including our mattress, which got very dirty.

Many items were not protected adequately, and thus suffered damage. For example, our light gray couch was not wrapped in blankets, and now is stained with dirt. Many other items are dented and scratched.

The moving crew that delivered our goods was great. Friendly, worked quickly, asked questions, etc. The movers that packed our goods also worked hard, but needed to spend more time protecting our belongings. However, I believe they were put behind the eight ball by the office staff that provided such a poor quote.

FINALLY!!!! ,,, received our shipment. We were told on our contract that we would receive our shipment in New York on Sept. 1st, 2nd or 3rd. which we had made sure to arrange our schedule for. Did not receive our shipment nor a phone call about this. They did have a cushion time of up to ten days past the the first date. I called on the 14th ( which was ten working days of first promised delivery) only to find out our boxes were still in the warehouse in Las Vegas. The lady had no explanation nor apology for this, she just said it will soon be delivered. Called a few more times once in Sept. twice in Oct. with same response, that our boxes were still in Las Vegas. Finally on Oct. 19th (30 working days or 44 days past the original first arrival date) we got a phone call that it would arrive this morning, but of course we had to wait till noon.
Glad this nightmare is over, should not have paid total up front, thought they were a good company.
Would never recommend this company!!!

When moving becomes [redacted] on earth!
This company just made that possible, they sell you their services like all guaranteed, no changes, all will be on time, claiming to be the best! All at the end a sales speech that will not be close to reality.
From pickup to delivery a total nightmare:
-They arrived late
- Put my good with no care at all, making all the boxed picked up at the storage location fall inside the truck (boxes full of my goods).
- The delay of one day caused several issues including missing my flights and extra hotel nights and car rental.
- During the storage period I requested and confirmed the delivery date, which was a couple of days away from the original date.
- They were on the original date available to deliver but decided to wait so they can charge me a complete month of storage.
- When they deliver, they broke stuff, delivered all furniture damaged and lots of my boxes with damage.
- They just don't care and will use any excuse to keep you in [redacted].
