Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.As stated in my complaint, I did not receive notice of prorated rent due from Barton Farms until the 8th of December with payment requested on the 11th of DecemberI am aware that rent is due on the 1st of each month as my payment history will indicateHowever, when Barton Farms responded to my request to vacate on November 22, 2017, I received a move-out checklist stating what to consider with no mention of my prorated rent amount to be due on the 1stOn the 2nd, I still didn't receive a move-out amountIt wasn't until I INQUIRED on the 8th of December that my rent amount was finally revealed to me with payment expected on the 11thIt is unreasonable to assume that I would have made a full-month's rent payment on the 1st of December when I intended to vacate within the middle of the month; just as it is unreasonable to expect a full-month's rent payment for someone moving in mid-monthI spent nearly years in this complex and this oversight isn't my responsibilityI should not be penalized for the lack of information provided by this apartment complex and this situation just overshadows my decision to leave: utter lack of competence on behalf of this rental property Regards, [redacted]

Barton Farms follows all policies and procedures of the Lease Agreement. All residents sign the same lease stating they have read and will abide by our policies and proceduresPlease see attached Lease Agreement and Move Out Statement for *** ***, address *** *** *** *** **
*** ** ***. Please review section RENT. Rent is due on the first day of each month, without setoff, demand or notice. We did not receive Resident’s rent on 12/01/as required, resulting in late fees of $78.00. Please see section LATE FEES. Resident agrees to pay Owner an additional rent payment of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) plus Two Dollars ($2.00) per day after the first (1st) day, in the event Owner does not receive the full monthly installment of rent. Resident moved out on 12/16/17. Due to our policy the Resident’s request for the refund of the security deposit was unable to be granted. The Lease Agreement states, Section 4. SECURITY DEPOSITOwner may apply part or all of the security deposit to any liability, costs or damages suffered by Owner, including but not limited to, the following: (g) Any charges due under the lease, including rent.
