Invicta Watch Company of America Reviews (21)

Let me start by saying I have no illusions that these watches are high end and would say that I have figured out recently that the old adage "you get what you pay for" was definitely meant for a company like InvictaI have of their watches that I bought in the last months, on the higher end and on the lower end price wiseOne of the lower end versions quit working and because of the cost to fix it just went in the trash, however, a little bit of a different story on my Venom that was a little more moneyRecently the band broke and after paying an inflated price for a new band ($after shipping) came to the realization that a local Invicta store, yes an actual Invicta store with their name on the front door, nor I could figure out how to get the old band off and the new one onThey sent the watch along with new band to a jewelry store close by nor could they get the old band off either and along the way they also managed to break one of the screws/pin that hold the band in placeAfter a lot of back and forth (not pleasant) both the store and the customer service people in Hollywood, FL do not want to do anything to replace the screw or compromise on how to get it fixed/replace band other than shipping it off overseas for another inflated price and could not advise on when I would have the watch backHow can a company that makes a watch not know how to replace a band on what they make without having to send it overseas....blows my mind?!? Unfortunately, for me it looks like I will have to trash this watch as well over what should be a VERY simple fixIt appears to me and I am convinced after reading other reviews, that when you have bought the watch they feel they got what they needed (your money) and after that really could care less on working to keep the customerWhich is a shame since the watches are actually a pretty nice design, too bad the customer service could use a makeover? The only thing I can say is please do not support this company as they will definitely not support you if neededGo and spend the extra money on a better branded watch that the company who makes it will actually stand behind!

Invicta has terrible customer service: A) I called there customer service number times (1-800-327-7682)On all occasions informed on recording 40+ customers ahead of me and waiting time anywhere from - minutes to speak to a Customer Service Rep B) I sent them e-mails: e-mail to [email protected] Sent E-mail on 12/7/16) e-mail to [email protected] + [email protected] (Sent e-mail on 12/10/16) They never repliedThey sent me the wrong watch that I purchased for a relative Between my brother and I have purchased over 20+ Invicta watches I will never again but an Invicta watchI'll prefer to but Croton and Swiss Legend They provide professional customer service where you don't have to wait over hours to speak to someoneAlso within 2-days they reply to you e-mails regarding customer service issues

We my wife and I have Invicta between us when the catch on her ceramic watch broke customer service gave meThe 28$ day nonsense days past no repair I cancelled my payment tossed the watch never buy again

The store jacked up my son's watch when they took links out upon purchaseIt has not worked correctly since and we can no longer get the band to stay togetherThis watch is only two months oldThe number does NOT answer the phone, the corporate office does NOT answer the phone, they do NOT return email, and they do NOT respond to social media postsThey did not give me a warranty card either, which I didn't know even existed until I tried to log in online for repair serviceThe store said I can send it back to them and they'll send it out for repair but the band is not covered under warranty, so I have to pay for that....plus shipping and handling both waysEven though THEY are the ones who messed it upBasically, I have an expensive paperweight in a stupid yellow boxWish I had read these reviews beforeI will be posting negative feedback every place I can find to hopefully help the next customerWRETCHEDDo not know how they stay in business

I currently own only one Invicta Pro Diver watch that I use as my knock around watch as I have to wear very loose and the metal band digs into the underside of my wrist I traded in Invicta watches, a Subaqua Noma III (watch weighed oz and very still poly strap) and another one that weighed oz Both unbalanced and glad to trade in for another watch brand at my watch maker at a loss for a different brand watch I had to return mid size (45mm) Subuqua watches because it was to heavy, watch not balanced to wear and poly strap stiff and uncomfortable Would not purchase any other Invicta watches because of their claims your buying a $watch for $ They are definitely F rating on the Revdex.com

I have purchased many Invicta watches, mostly very happyHowever, they do NOT answer their phones, it is rare that anyone can help you with an issue and you may spend minutes waiting to speak to a techSupport person (hours)I have recently purchased new watches on EvineThe first, a Thunderbolt, had a pin fail that holds the clasp that locks your bracelet togetherThe pin just disintegrated for some unknown reasonI called Invicta and spent hours on the line and then got cut offThis is not the first timeA simple tiny pin and my watch is not wearable and I have no idea what to doHowever, what I did do is write and fax a letter today to the CEO, Eyal Lalo, explaining that not only could I not find anyone to help me over a cent pin but that of my new Russian Divers arrived with defects in the leather bands! I could not get anyone on the phone at InvictaI have sent numerous emails to their customer service area, about 10, and I received NOT ONE replyNot one! I recently got a new Seahunter, 58mm, with a yellow face and matching yellow poly band that had a split in the bandI tried and tried to get someone on the phone to help and I could never get throughAgain, waited an hour and then got cut off!! Sent emails! No replyI cannot wear these watches due to a broken pin, a split poly strap and defects in the leather straps that will only get worse if wornThey all all over days since getting them from Evine and to send the Seahunter, for example, in for a new strap will cost me the $plus the strap, which by the way, isn't even in stock!! So, I can only look at this watch, and others, sitting in their cases as I cannot wear them! I shared this information with MrLalo with the hope that someone can help meOtherwise, I have about $worth of watches that I cannot wearThis is silly! If you buy online at Evine, it takes minutes to buy an Invicta but months and months to have a really simple issue resolvedFrustration is an understatementPlus, I have an Invicta Club that I started, about collectors, who have similar issues and have NO supportIt appears that many are going to move on to other brands unfortunatelyI happen to really love my Invicta'sThe are a great value, terrific designs, solid construction but that is overshadowed by a complete lack of getting help when you have a problem! How difficult could these minor issues be? I have Rolex and Patek high end watches and I can assure you, if I call Switzerland or New York to their HQ's, I would be on the phone with someone within a minute! Period! In my view, Invicta may be selling thousands and thousands of watches but it does not appear that they have the staff to support this level of sales! There is really no other reason not to be able to speak to customer service or techSupport or not be able to get a reply via email! If Invicta responds timely to my letter to MrLalo, faxed to him today to their Hollywood, FLHQ, great but if not, I fear we all will be moving to another brandWhat choice do we have? If Invicta cannot answer the phone, or promptly mail me a cent pin (really need more as replacements) or find me a strap for a new watch, why are we buying from them? It should not take an act of god to send in relatively new watches for repair and wait months to get them back for a small issueThey have to change their policies, answer the phone, make it easy for loyal customers to get some helpOh, with regards to the Russian Diver with a defective strap? I was finally able to get on the phone with a CS rep and she promised to send me a replacement (free) right awayThat never happened and I cannot get in touch with anyone, including this CS rep who no longer works for InvictaWhat is the deal here? What else can we do? I have never seen anything like this before with any provider/sellerIf Invicata replies and says to send in my new Thunderbolt into them for a cent pin, well, that will just about do it for meI hate that I had to report this fiasco, but they left me no choiceIf they do respond quickly and resolve my issues, there is hope left!

I currently have Invicta watches out of commission due to broken bandsThese watches are crapThe bands don't last long at allI am very dissatisfied with this brand and will NEVER BUY ANOTHER INVICTA

Loved my Invicta Reserve watch when I purchased it a few years ago It was not cheap Looked great I've been waiting for a new band for over months! They have my money, but I am still waiting for the new band! Terrible customer service Wait time on the phone averages to minutes No responses - not even automated responses - to multiple emails to the service department I love watches I loved that Reserve watch After this experience I will never buy another Invicta

+1

Over the past years I have purchased Invicta watches I have had zero problems with the quality of the watches The fit & finish is remarkable for the price you pay
The delivery has been with in a business weeks time, I have never had a problem with any of the watches so there has been no need to send any back I did call their
customer service once because I couldn't figure out how to set the day of the week
on one watch, and customer service was polite and knowledgeable in helping me
get the watch date & day of week set I will be buying more in the future and highly
recommend them to others

Good looks, bad quality Multitude of trendy watches and some more traditional looking watches that mimic Rolex and other high-end time pieces Usually feels sturdy and well built But, durability and quality really is terrible Stainless steel bands easily break The "fusion" crystal glass that magnifies the date scratches extremely easily Accuracy of time keeping is off by minutes every week God forbid you should need to get any warranty work done You pay the shipment You wait forever Customer service is an oxymoron as they give no customer service Don't be fooled by the catchy looks of their time pieces Buy something else with better quality and better customer service

I purchased this watch from an amazon company (my habit.com). I wore this watch 3 times. Each time I wore it, the band came apart. I took it to my regular jeweler twice, who suggested it was defective and that I return it to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. I sent it to Invicta in Sept 2013. I had to PAY to return the watch to Invicta, and then they said that the band was not covered under warranty even though I just received it and only wore it 3 times. After much back and forth email, and a complaint filed with the State of Florida Department of Consumer Services, and after I emailed and asked Invicta to please return the watch back to me (I guess they were trying to keep it for spare parts?), I finally received it in Feb 2014. UNREPAIRED! A simple, easy repair that they could have done to keep a customer happy, and they refused. So I will have it fixed properly, and I will wear it if only to tell everyone I know about my horrible experience and to highly NOT recommend Invicta. Stay away from Invicta!

Invicta 1 year warranty is not a cost free warranty. Return of a watch for any WARRANTY reason will cost you $28 !! My story: I bought a beautiful Invicta with stopwatch and I got lots of compliments on it. Trouble is that after only 90 days it loses an hour each day ! Called customer service and spent 45 minutes on the phone with 23 other complainers in front of me. Finally told the $28 is for repair shipping to Switzerland regardless of the defect. Watch cost + $100 and they want $28 to fix their problems ??? Later checked out Invicta quality on line and found lots of "90" day failures during warranty & service takes months. Beware of invicta quality & warranty

We my wife and I have 16 Invicta between us when the catch on her ceramic watch broke customer service gave me. The 28$ 90 day nonsense 100 days past no repair I cancelled my payment tossed the watch never buy again

Invicta has terrible customer service:

A) I called there customer service number 4 times (1-800-327-7682). On all occasions informed on recording 40+ customers ahead of me and waiting time anywhere from 120 - 170 minutes to speak to a Customer Service Rep.

B) I sent them 2 e-mails:
1. 1 e-mail to [email protected] Sent E-mail on 12/7/16)
2. 1 e-mail to [email protected] + [email protected] (Sent e-mail on 12/10/16).

They never replied. They sent me the wrong watch that I purchased for a relative.

Between my brother and I have purchased over 20+ Invicta watches.

I will never again but an Invicta watch. I'll prefer to but Croton and Swiss Legend.
They provide professional customer service where you don't have to wait over 2 hours to speak to someone. Also within 2-3 days they reply to you e-mails regarding customer service issues.

Let me start by saying I have no illusions that these watches are high end and would say that I have figured out recently that the old adage "you get what you pay for" was definitely meant for a company like Invicta. I have 4 of their watches that I bought in the last 12 months, 2 on the higher end and 2 on the lower end price wise. One of the lower end versions quit working and because of the cost to fix it just went in the trash, however, a little bit of a different story on my Venom that was a little more money. Recently the band broke and after paying an inflated price for a new band ($88 after shipping) came to the realization that a local Invicta store, yes an actual Invicta store with their name on the front door, nor I could figure out how to get the old band off and the new one on. They sent the watch along with new band to a jewelry store close by nor could they get the old band off either and along the way they also managed to break one of the screws/pin that hold the band in place. After a lot of back and forth (not pleasant) both the store and the customer service people in Hollywood, FL do not want to do anything to replace the screw or compromise on how to get it fixed/replace band other than shipping it off overseas for another inflated price and could not advise on when I would have the watch back. How can a company that makes a watch not know how to replace a band on what they make without having to send it overseas....blows my mind?!? Go and spend the extra money on a better branded watch that the company who makes it will actually stand behind!

I bought my first Invicta on ShopHQ and thank goodness it failed before the 30 day return policy. My second Invicta watch purchased through Amazon failed after 38 days. The return policy is absurd and insulting YOU the consumer have to pay for shipping to Invicat and send an additional 28.00 dollars even if the watch is STILL under warranty.. My receipt was lost and customer service is simply unacceptable they practically accuse you of FRAUD. Stay AWAY from Invicta. Also, do send your original box, when shipping, for they keep it.....THEFT

The store jacked up my son's watch when they took links out upon purchase. It has not worked correctly since and we can no longer get the band to stay together. This watch is only two months old. The 800 number does NOT answer the phone, the corporate office does NOT answer the phone, they do NOT return email, and they do NOT respond to social media posts. They did not give me a warranty card either, which I didn't know even existed until I tried to log in online for repair service. The store said I can send it back to them and they'll send it out for repair but the band is not covered under warranty, so I have to pay for that....plus shipping and handling both ways. Even though THEY are the ones who messed it up. Basically, I have an expensive paperweight in a stupid yellow box. Wish I had read these reviews before. I will be posting negative feedback every place I can find to hopefully help the next customer. WRETCHED. Do not know how they stay in business.

Invicta watch company is a joke. The watches / customer service and overall product is junk. My wife bought me a watch and I wore it 3 times before it got a scratch on the glass, the buttons stopped working and it sat on my counter and died over the next 6 months while I was deployed. This was really disappointing to find out that such a cool looking and affordable watch was actually a scam. I sent the watch off with the "$28.00" and waited 90 days and all I got was some chirping crickets. Nobody tries to contact me and when I try and contact the company its just a waste of time. After reviewing other customer reviews.... I am just another sucker that has purchased a flop of a product.

Invicta has horrible quality control and customer service for repairs/replacements. I have gone back and forth with Invicta regarding the repairs to my watch since January 2013. Invicta has a 90 day repair return policy which the do not honor due to "shipping issues abroad" it too almost 6 months. After the first return of my watch, not all of the repairs were made (crystal replacement was not done but had already been paid for since I was out of warranty). The second time my watch was returned after another 5+ months, the face of my watch has pieces coming off and floating around in the face. The watch was never cleaned and I always had to reach out to Invicta for information instead of them alerting me to the "delays" and other issues. I would not recommend buying an Invicta watch or every trying to repair or replace a broken one. There is no quality control and the service reps have no way to adequately help their customers.

I have purchased many Invicta watches, mostly very happy. However, they do NOT answer their phones, it is rare that anyone can help you with an issue and you may spend 300 minutes waiting to speak to a tech. Support person (5 hours). I have recently purchased 4 new watches on Evine. The first, a Thunderbolt, had a pin fail that holds the clasp that locks your bracelet together. The pin just disintegrated for some unknown reason. I called Invicta and spent hours on the line and then got cut off. This is not the first time. A simple tiny pin and my watch is not wearable and I have no idea what to do. I recently got a new Seahunter, 58mm, with a yellow face and matching yellow poly band that had a split in the band. I tried and tried to get someone on the phone to help and I could never get through. Again, waited an hour and then got cut off!! Sent emails! No reply. I cannot wear these watches due to a broken pin, a split poly strap and defects in the leather straps that will only get worse if worn. They all all over 30 days since getting them from Evine and to send the Seahunter, for example, in for a new strap will cost me the $28 plus the strap, which by the way, isn't even in stock!! So, I can only look at this watch, and others, sitting in their cases as I cannot wear them! I shared this information with Mr. Lalo with the hope that someone can help me. If you buy online at Evine, it takes minutes to buy an Invicta but months and months to have a really simple issue resolved. Frustration is an understatement. Plus, I have an Invicta Club that I started, about 25 collectors, who have similar issues and have NO support. It appears that many are going to move on to other brands unfortunately.
