This is my first notice
of this complaint because you had the wrong e-mail on file
When this client called, she wanted to come in the same day as her wedding, I advised her that it wouldnt be a good idea to make such a change on such an important dayShe then said that she could come in that same day, Thursday to get it doneI set her up with a Senior designer I never stated that *** was a master stylistShe consulted for a good length of time & LOVED the outcome of her hair before she leftCarie advised her that we have a week grace period if she was unhappy with her services we will be willing to redo the entire service at no extra chargeShe said that wouldn't matter because she LOVED her hair and couldn't wait to show her fianceThen the next day she sent an e-mail saying she hated itI told her that she can come in any time within the weeks for NO CHARGE for us to redo the whole service to make her 100% happy especially before her wedding on SaturdayShe told me she had no time, I told her it would only take minutes the most, if she can find min of her time to come in and we will be willing to fix the color for her, even if it is with another stylistShe again stated she did not have anytime to come inI feel as if we did our part in trying to work with her and accomodate her, but again she declined for us to do our job which is stated & posted in our salon I am very sorry that she is unhappy with this, but we did our best to resolve the situation & make her happy at no extra cost to herAgain we strive to make all of our guests happyThank you very much for your time

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10434385, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business did not include an offer or resolution with the email they sent, they only stated that they attempted to resolve the issue by asking me to come back into the salon. They asked me to do this when I contacted them about my complaint initially and I advised them that I was not able to come back in so close to the wedding and did not want to further damage my hair. My husband called and spoke with Rosalie who advised that I could just come in after the wedding and deal with having the hair in my wedding photos and that they were unwilling to issue a refund. They do not have a no refund policy posted anywhere within the business or on the website. Further more I did not want to go back to a salon where the senior stylist could not do the job correctly. I would not go back to a restaurant that gave me food poisoning. The reason I "loved" my hair when I initially left the salon was because I have short hair and I did not get to see all of the color until I got home. The top of my hair was red and purplish but everything underneath was BROWN. I asked for purple hair and I was going to have an up do for the wedding so all people would have seen is the brown hair underneathThe service I received was something subpar that I could have done at home. I only asked for a 50% refund because I understood that the company spent time and money doing my hair which I felt was being reasonable. I contacted *** salon and Imago salon, both salons stated that if this were to happen that their business would have issued a FULL refund without putting me through all of this stress. I also contacted *** *** a stylist at *** salon who looked at my hair in person, took photos, and agreed to testify that the color service I received was not only the wrong color, but poorly done, and had spots that were missing color altogether which another stylist and the owner of the salon also verified. Regards,*** ***

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]I never spoke with the owner of the salon in regards to my experienceI called the next day to see if my color could be fixed per what I was told by the stylist when I left that there is no charge within the two week periodI spoke with the secretary and then the stylist who informed me I would have to pay an additional *** for highlights on top of the *** dollars I had already paid the previous dayI asked exactly what I was charged *** for the previous day and the stylist told me what she had done including all over color and low lights but there were no highlightsIf I had known it would be additional money to have the highlights I would not have had it done to begin withI thought the *** included the highlighting and she also said color cut and everythingThe stylist should have been more clear in communicatingShe said it would be dark but I did not know she didn't put any highlightsThen to pay that much money and not be satisfied and also be told that you can come back within two weeks and it will be fixed free of charge and then to call and be told it would be an additional *** Anywhere else I have been would fix it right away and honor their week agreement.

The stylist asked her several times if she was sure she wanted to go as dark as...

she chose and the stylus actually went to level lighter because she knew that it would be a lot darker than what she was used to.   She was priced for what she got. She called back and wanted to add highlights to lighten her color because she wasn't happy with the depth of the color. This was not quoted in her original price therefore it would be an add-on service and she would have to pay more for that. We have a two week read you. But it only covers the services that you got if you were unhappy for I she was priced for what she got. Review: I went to invidia salon to receive color service 1/21/15 4 days prior to my wedding . I wanted purple hair to match my dress and flowers. I brought a photo reference. We looked at color swatches together and I expressed concern that the color she selected was too red. She stated that she would mix it and it would not look as red as the swatch. I have short hair so I was not able to get a good look at my hair until I went home. My hair was brown underneath with red highlights on top, not at all what I asked for. I contacted the salon requesting a 50% refund since they did spend time and materials on me. They advised that they were unwilling to refund me but I could come back to have it fixed. I did not have time to fix my hair prior to the wedding and I was not going to go back to a place where the master stylist could not do the job correctly. I again attempted to contact the salon and was ignored for several days. When I was finally contacted again it was after the wedding. She stated again that they "don't do refunds" and asked me to come back in. My Husband advised her that we would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and she said "ok thanks" and hung up. They do not have "no refunds" posted anywhere in the salon and I feel that a 50% refund was being reasonable instead of asking for a 100% refund since this is a unique situation.Desired Settlement: I paid $187 for the service. I would like a 50% refund $93.50.
