We contracted w/ Two Men and a Truck of Norwalk to move us from one house to another at the end of July. The company was very friendly and professional on the phone when we contacted them to schedule the move, but they didn't deliver what they said they would. Because of this, we had many damaged items, lost items and ended up having to move a truck load of our own stuff. We specifically asked about having our stuff shrink wrapped so it wouldn't get ruined, and they said it would be. When the movers showed up to move us, they didn't have any on the truck ... so we didn't have any of our stuff shrink wrapped. We told the company how much stuff we had to move, but at the end of the day, the truck was packed and we didn't have all of our stuff loaded on it. Come to find out when they unloaded the truck the next day, there was someone else's furniture loaded in the truck with ours. So either they didn't have room to move our stuff because there was someone else's stuff in th

I moved 3/25/and this company broke custom made pieces of furniture They picked up mirror and have not seen or heard repair situation Cabinet waiting to repair Called email no response from local and corporate Spoke with local manager Victor P***, several emails Totally unresponsive Will begin legal proceedings They need to provide repairs to both pieces IMMEDIATELY Absolutely the worst service I have ever had

I was moving from a tiny 1-bedroom apartment to another one, located in the neighboring building just yards away On 7/2/16, my friend ordered a moving service from “Two Men and a Truck” at ** *** *** *** *** *** ###-###-####
Yes, they’ve moved me but they behaved so unprofessionally: wasted a lot of time, dragged my mattress right on the asphalt, and so on However, the top of their achievement was their charge They’ve charged my friend about $for a really small number of items (tiny 1-bedroom!) they moved I don’t think it is fair My friend talked with them but they didn’t give a damn Please help me lower their charge

I booked a move about a month in advanceTwo weeks before the move left a deposit and explained that special boxes were needed for a few itemsThe day before the move they called to confirm and again I told them we needed certain boxesAt 8am on the day of the move a driver called to say they were on the way over, I called him back at 9:am and he said a different crew was comingAt 10:00am a crew came in a *** truck and said all the other trucks were being used, the office said the truck broke downThere were no boxes on the truck as I had requested multiple timesWe were moving a bedroom apartment across the streetWhile I have to admit we had a lot of stuff, the original estimate was for men for hours for and I did budget for more if necessaryThe move was not done till after 9pm- hours later at a cost of almost 2,The movers were extremely slow they also broke an antique mirrorI have contacted the company a number of times and filled out

I moved several times with company in the last two yearsOn September 3, I had a move where my home and furniture was significantly damaged and notified the companyThe movers said they would notify the company; however, I followed up with a phone call on September speaking with Sarah, asking what the next steps wereI sent an email with pictures on September and had little correspondence from the company
Forst the claims manager was out and so Gregg would handle the claim, the Manager, Vic, was supposed to call me and never didI have followed up monthly with receipts for painting and when my furniture will be repaired with no resultI am told to be patient and wait for someone to contact me and no one doesI have to follow up consistently

I hired Two men and a truck to move my residence I spoke to them on the phone and they also came to my home two times to give me a price quote for the move The move was scheduled for August 24, They showed up with men when it was supposed to be three, but they did not do the move and wasted more than hours doing nothing and the person who gave the price quote both on the phone and in person (Fredrick Shaw) came and also a manager Nick D*** came at my request bottom line is they wasted hours talking about it and not one item was put on the truck for the move They then decided to do the move the next day I was not happy with this as I had an agreement with my landlord to move out by 8-24- On 8-25-a new crew of men (three people and then a the came to do part of the move later on) came to do the move...There is a lot more detail about this case but I will give you the shorter version and if more detail is needed, I will provide it
The move started ou

We have multiple issues which are included but not limited to the below and involving a moving company whose assistance has been unsatisfactory:
1) The initially promised hourly rate was increased once the movers arrived
2) These movers arrived unprepared in their own vehicle, not a company truck, with literally no moving equipment to assist themselves or us In fact, they expected to use whatever material we had to assist in the move
3) These movers themselves were discourteous
4) These movers were inefficient and took more time to increase the cost
5) These movers damaged multiple pieces of property
6) Complaints to the company have been disregarded after multiple phone calls, emails, and messages
7) The company and its representatives have made promises for reimbursement, which itself remains insufficient, verbally and by email, but this has yet to be received after waiting weeks

I used Two Men and a Truck years ago & I am back again to use them again! The gentlemen who came were so polite & helpfulFollowed all instructions fully & asked questions when they were unsure I had just gotten out of the hospital just wks before & was useless except to point to items They moved me on the coldest, wettest, windy day in March without complaint! definitely recommend
