To whom it may concern, We greatly appreciate the opportunity to provide a response to this complaint. We hold our customer satisfaction in the utmost regard, and we hope that we have provided the necessary information for alleviating any concerns that remain. Both by choice and
by law, we maintain very high standards of privacy and take many precautions to secure all patient information. We have not received any written consents to provide personal information in regards to any Revdex.com complaints filed, thus we have provided our response in a manner consistent with with the requirements of our privacy policy and HIPAA At inVista Optical, we strive to exceed the expectations of our patients and to deliver our products and services in a respectful and compassionate manner. Any and all complaints are taken very seriously, and we have already taken steps to resolve every complaint we have received to date. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to rectify any situations in which are customers are not completely satisfied In compliance with our privacy practices and the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act of (HIPAA), no patient specific information shall be divulged without a signed authorization from said patient or a legally authorized guardian. In good faith and as a symbol of accountability to the community we serve, we provide the following information regarding our practices: Every patient is different, and the doctor and staff of inVista Optical strive to provide a personalized approach to everyone that chooses our practice. In doing so, we work diligently and patiently to ensure our patients are fitted with the product that best meets their overall needs and delivers the level of comfort they desire. In the case of contact lenses, this process sometimes takes several visits, over the course of a number of months, and often involves trialing a number of brands, product lines, and, sometimes, adjusting the prescription. We understand that it is a significant financial commitment to order one’s contacts, which is why we make a point not to pressure patients to order before they are confident in their selection. In an effort to provide a higher level of service and value to our patients, we offer a “Contact Lens Service Agreement”. In the agreement, we agree to provide a number of non-standard services, coverages, and discounts on additional products in exchange for a reasonable fee. This fee is waived when the patient chooses to purchase an entire one-year supply of contact lenses from us. The agreement states “…in the event you have a change in prescription, we’ll exchange any unopened boxes of contact lenses for the updated prescription.” This provides customers with an added level of insurance against unforeseen expenses should their prescription change before they are able to exhaust their supply of lenses. In order to take advantage of the additional discounts offered by the agreement, one must pay the aforementioned fee or purchase the entire one-year supply of contact lenses on or before the day they would like the discounts to be applied to the additional products In the event a patient participating the Contact Lens Service Agreement has not opened any of the boxes of contact lenses that were ordered, as would be the case if a patient had not yet taken delivery of the product, all of the boxes in that order would be eligible for an exchange. In the event of a price discrepancy between the original order and any exchange orders, a debit or credit will be issued accordingly. InVista Optical assumes the responsibility of paying any restocking and shipping fees that might be associated with an exchange We take great pride in the selection of products we offer at inVista Optical. We are confident that we stock a wide selection of eyewear to meet the needs of most people in our community. We work closely with our contact lens vendors to ensure we have a wide selection of trial lenses of brands and products in many common prescriptions. Given the nearly infinite combination of brands, products, and prescriptions that exist in the contact lens market, it would effectively be impossible for us to stock each one in our small store. For that reason, when we don’t have what a customer wants or needs, we work diligently to order, receive, and distribute trial contact lenses as quickly as possible At inVista Optical, we understand the value of consistent and reliable communication with our customers. We go to great lengths to adapt our methods (phone, email, text, social media, etc) to the individual needs of those we serve. If ever it is brought to our attention that an inadequacy in communication has occurred as a result of our doing, we accept responsibility and sincerely apologize. That being said, communication is reciprocal in nature, and while we may go to great lengths to maintain it, it can only take place when both parties actively participate. We cannot work to resolve an issue until we are made aware of its existence
