To whom it may concern, The "private property" in question for this complaint refers to three separate vehicles, owned by the complainantInyo County Towing was asked by an Owner/Property Manager (name and contact information attached) to remove all three vehicles from the premises, as they
were classified as abandoned vehicles, and were hampering the manager's residenceAt 08:hours, four individuals were arrested for land trespassing (Incident #1***), where the complainant as well as the other three individuals were arrested for "squatting"These vehicle removals occurred at 13:hours (Incident #1***9), 14:hours (Incident #1***), and 14:hours (Incident #1***), as notated in the Ridgecrest Police LogThe complainant came to the business office to retrieve his property the next day, at 15:hours, refuting the statement from the complainant When I Went To Go Pick Up Within hours," The complainant not only received all of his property, despite what he claims in his complaint, but signed documents to the fact that they were released and he was satisfied, notated as attachedThe customer was charged the standard rate of fare of $an hour for the tow, and in no way was over charged for the services rendered, as each tow took 1/hour each. Next, the complainant's accusation of our company filing a Lien sale on the vehicles in simply untrue, as he was never charged for a Lien fee, and a vehicle must be in our possession for over hours before we may attempt to file a Lien on itHe states that he had officers called to the office (Incident #1***) to correct paperwork, but nothing was alteredNext he claims we refused to return his original pink slips, which we never had, as pink slips are personal paperwork he should have on hand, and would have no reason to turn them over to us as we do not request them for any of our servicesPaperwork was found in one of the vehicles, however he signed that he received everything he owned, which would have included any pink slips, and that he vehicles were released to him in satisfactory conditionIn spite of the complainant's statement of "Fought With The Owner Trying to Get Receipts For the Cash Money I Paid Which They Refused Many Times", he received a copy of each receipt, one for each of the towed vehicles, with his signature on all of themWe were presented with paperwork stating that the vehicles were owned by someone else, i.enot the complainantThe complainant then called two other people to the office to drive the cars away, one was the complainant's brother, who was not localThe complainant then went to the former owner's to receive paperwork as proof of ownership, and finally went to DMV to obtain proper documentation stating that he owned the vehiclesWe never accused the complainant of forgery or theft, we simply would not release them to him as he was not, to our knowledge, the owner of the vehiclesWe are not required by law to provide the customer with photographs of the vehicles before or after the tow, as they sign a damage liability waver to the contraryHis tires were not "Slit", as claimed, but flat, but despite this he drove the vehicle out of the impound yardHe then claimed he was going to take pictures of the vehicle to prove that it was damaged by our company during or after the tow. The complainant's claim that the Co-Owner "Told Me That She Eats People Up Like Me And Spits Them Out" is true, and that co-owner has already been reprimanded for the action, however, the complainant was combative and argumentative during the entire hour-long ordeal, and his lies speak for themselvesHe was threatened with trespassing, but only after he received all of his vehicles and continued to argue and refuse to leave the business yardThe complainant also makes it known that "I had witnesses and recordings.", which we would like to formally request be presented in this complaint case, as we have presented all documentation of the event, and it is only just that the complainant do the same. In regards to the complainant's desired settlement, his vehicles were never illegally towed, they were justly removed under California Vehicle Code 22658, as requested by the offended Property Manager (information attached)The complainant was not overcharged, and he signed a waver for each vehicle stating that the vehicles were released in satisfactory condition, and he was provided with not one, but three different receipts for the vehicles in question, one for eachHis gas tanks were never destroyed with sugar, nor were his tired slashed beyond use, as evident by the fact he drove them awayThe vehicles were stored in an official police approved impound yard, that is under constant surveillanceThe vehicles were never tampered with, and the accusations by the complainant are ludicrous and baseless, and is a clear attack at the company because of his ineptitude. Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention, we hope it is resolved quickly and with extreme prejudice. Sincerely, *** ***, Co-Owner of Inyo County Towing

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2016/07/18) */
The Registered Owner of the wrecked vehicle (RO) came into our office at 4:30 PM. He was very frazzled and confused. He said he wanted us deliver his car to a body shop. He then got confused and started calling Allied Insurance. It was 4:50 PM...

and no decisive direction came from the Allied Insurance except that the RO wanted it at the Body shop before dosing. At 4:55, I asked if we could do it tomorrow? The RO insisted it must be before closing. In the confusion of all the phone calls to the insurance company at my office counter (using my business phone) and the concern for the closing time, I had my driver take it to the body shop before closing, as this was what the RO was most concerned with. This was the only way to get it to the body shop on time. While at the body shop, her husband came out and cussed out my driver calling him a [redacted] of [redacted]". When my driver called back and complained to the owner, her husband got on the phone and said he did not call him that, but that Inyo County Towing was a [redacted] of [redacted]''.
In hindsight, and considering the deadlines presented to me at the time, there was no way that the body shop could accomplish the tow before 5:00 PM. My driver arrived at the Body Shop after 5:00 prn, and there was no tow truck coming from her company to my company
Never-the-less, nobody, in my office, ever told Mr. [redacted], Allied Insurance, we would discount the price to $100. I talked to our office staff, and he denied giving the $100 price. In fact, he insisted our hourly rate was $240 and he was not authorized to negotiate that hourly rate.
However, Mr. [redacted] of Allied Insurance threatened my spouse the next day; if we didn't give his insurance a discount refunded, he would take it to the Revdex.com and the CHP. I see he has done both. Please note; The CHP has nothing to do with this situation. This original case was not a CHP call.
This is extortion and/or blackmail on the insurance side. However we will offer a resolution, in good faith; a $140 discount/refund to Allied Insurance if 1) Mr. [redacted] Allied Insurance withdraws the complaint with your office, 2)issues a written apology for trying to get the chp involved (when they are not involved what-so-ever) and 3)a written promise that he will stop the slander/liable, or we will file a lawsuit against Allied P&C Insurance.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
