I've enclosed a copy of the refund we issued to the customer. We refunded the full amount, instead of only the amount mis-charged. As I explained to the customer on the phone, I felt a full refund was in order to compensate for his troubles.
I've also resent the receipt to the customer, showing the refund amount, date etc.
When the customer originally called, we tried to lookup the charge online, we use the [redacted] to process cards. The [redacted] site was not working, it was showing us blank pages. I explained this to the customer and told him I would follow up as soon as I could see the charges through [redacted] again. The next day we had the same problems with [redacted].
The following day, however, the site was working properly again. I issued a full refund, the call the customer again to assure him I had taken care of the problem. Evidently, he felt we screwed him to the wall.Warm regards,
