My company contracted Iona Moon to write a full business plan for our startup. Lee was prompt in delivering unfinished work, but after her final payment (which was to precede the final and completed work), Lee stopped answering phone calls and emails. Her numerous days out of the office and vacations would not be an issue if we had received our simple business plan on time.
On the last day of our contract (which she insisted to be extended for three months to cover any remaining edits), I attempted again to get in contact with her, but did not receive any reply or update. I mentioned that as this was the last day of our contract (for a very simple business plan draft), that my team and I would be reviewing our legal options to obtain a full refund.
I received an email from Lee the very next day accusing my company of faking our numbers (we did not), that she couldn't make our information work (how?) and general insults in response to us bringing this to our legal team. We did not receive our completed business plan.
This is an unfortunate situation, and I would like a full refund as the project was never finished.

It was paid to me, as a freelancer, via PayPal to my personal account, rather than to the Iona Moon corporate account. This was explained extensively to Ms. and her business partners.It was performed, and delivered complete, except for two charts representing financial budgets and projections provided to me by Ms. with no supporting documentation. I made as much sense as I could from those numbers, and delivered them, with the complete business plan (which had been previously approved by ***) in the form of spreadsheets, which could be made into charts if *** preferred. I ask you to remove any reference to Iona Moon from this complaint, as once again, this was not an Iona Moon project.I hope this helps.
