The workers showed up .without our knowledge and to me that is not acceptable.Then they took off both gutters when we agreed to just have the front gutter removed and replaced Instead both gutters back and front were removed and this was done on June 30,2015.On July , we had a terrible storm and today which is July 7,we still have no gutters and our basement and washroom were flooded which was above my ankles when I walked through these areas..I have a nasty stain on the carpeting and I don't know what it is.We have expensive machines in both rooms the washer and dryer in one area and some exercise equipment in the basement.In short our old gutters should never have been removed until they were ready to put on the new one.A few years ago when we had Iossi put siding on our house they did an excellent job I don't know what happened we were extremely satisfied with the work but that is not the case as of today

I called Iossi Windows & Siding for an estimate on a repair for some loose sidingDave came out and looked at the area and told me that the area would need to be removed and reinstalledI asked for a quote which I was provided by phone a couple of days laterDave called and told me that for $the siding would be removed and reinstalledI agreed to the estimate but never received a written estimate and there was no talk of a service chargeDave told me that the repair would take place in either February or March of depending on weather and work load
A week later two guys from Iossi shows up unannounced to effect repairI asked them about removing the siding and reinstalling and was told that it wasn't necessaryI told them that Dave told me that's what they were going to do but if it didn't need it then fineI assumed that because it wasn't necessary to remove all the siding and reinstall that the price would be considerably less than the $
The guys completed the work and left in about minutesThe following Monday (1/23/2017) Dave calls me to tell me that the bill for $is being sent outWhen I heard the amount I was shockedI called Iossi and was told that they'll have Dave call me which he didWhen Dave called he informed of the service charge and that the service charge is $Again, this service charge was never mention prior to the phone call with Dave on 1/23/Dave suggested that I speak with Chuck who is the owner
I called Chuck on 1/24/and explained to him what the deal wasHe said that Dave said that he "didn't know if the all the siding would need to be removed and replaced" and that it's a "he said, she said" situationChuck was unwilling to work with me and gave me excuses and service charges and how much he's had to pay for calls in the pastI told him that I expected the guys to remove the siding ad reinstall for $as per the agreement with Dave, not to have them show up for minutes, not do what was agreed to and then be expected to pay $which translates into $an hourI told him that I never would have agreed to paying someone $to just fix the problem when I was quoted $for a completely different job (removing and reinstalling the siding) which involved fixing the problem
This appears to be nothing more than a bait and switch: tell me I need something done for a certain price and do something different for almost the same price
