Iowa Steak Company

I just had a man pounding on my door to try to sell me extra steaks he had left over after making a few deliveries in my neighborhood I was not interested, he seemed like he didn't believe me, so I shut the door on him & he looked mad & left I have no idea if this is the way this company does business or if he is moonlighting on the side, but since I have never ordered from this company & had never heard of this company I was a little concerned about him parking in my driveway & trying to get me to buy something close to sunset on a very cold winter evening I will contact the police if he comes back around This is not the way to drum up business

weeks ago a couple of gentlemen came by in a IOWA STEAKS truckThe driver ( [redacted] ) said a neighbor a few doors down had purchasedHe showed us some meat and after a brief conversation, we purchased some filets and New York strips A week later we cooked filetsThey were not filets ( one looked like a pork chop, the others tasted more like hamburger meat mix- much fat drained from these while cookingThey were HORRIBLE and inedible! Since [redacted] said they had a money back guarantee I called him immediately and sent photos of meat before and after cooking A week and a half has gone by and after promising to come by at least times- he has not!

Not a fan of vans pulling into my driveway and two guys reeking of cigarettes and alcohol practically inviting themselves into my house to show me $worth of steaks that they were willing to part with for the low price of $599, and lower if necessary No thanks As bad as the Kirby salesman

After purchasing my product I went online to the Iowa Steak Co website and found different prices listed than what I purchased mine for I called and was credited back the difference between the online site and the price I paid Everyone was very pleasant to deal with Both the steaks and chicken are proving to be very tender and tasty

A man & woman came selling steaks Was told it was a good price as they were overstocked and a much better price than in grocery stores The steaks were thin, tough and did not have a good flavor The chicken was of very poor flavor and quality The hamburger is very fatty and has some kind of red dye in itWas told the meat was guaranteed and when we called and complained we were told the money back guarantee was for only days Said they would replace the meat, which they did but it was the same quality We offered the meat to other people and they said it was the worst steaks they had ever had and threw them out What a waste of money!!

I wanted to comment only that we had a nice gentleman come to our home,he was very professional and answered all of our questions and was NOT pushy at all, we made a purchase and after he left we broiled some fillets, we were very happy with the taste and tenderness, we are already planning our next purchase

I've sent them following message to the company: I'd really appreciate it if you would instill in your employees that following someone to their home and then yelling "are you the queen of your household?" is not only unprofessional but extremely terrifyingThis man (who was driving a van with an "Iowa steaks" decal on the side) literally watch me drive by, turned his van around and followed me to my homeIf this is the kind of customer service you provide then you shouldn't even be in business at all

If this is the kind of customer service you provide then you shouldn't even be in business at all.

A week later we cooked 4 filets. They were not filets ( one looked like a pork chop, the others tasted more like hamburger meat mix- much fat drained from these while cooking. They were HORRIBLE and inedible!

A week and a half has gone by and after promising to come by at least 6 times- he has not!

I should have known better. These are the worste steaks I have ever had. I was told they were 10 ounce steaks. I bought a new scale and weighed them and not one steak weighed over 8 ounces. most were 6 ounces or less.
