Complaint2 orders, 2 requests for refunds made many times with no communication from iPortis. On or about May 19 I bought downloaded software and realized I bought the [redacted] version and not the "Windows" version. I immediately bought the "Windows" version and than emaild iPortis about my mistake and requested a refund of $14.50. I than tried to use the "Windows" software but it would not perform the task it was supposed to so I requested a refund of $14.50 for that software. I have repeatedly sent emails from their web site with no answer(s) or refunds. My complaint is regarding two different purchases of [redacted] unlocking software and a lifetine membershipI have made two seperate purchases of a membership to [redacted] The first purchase was back in April and has been an ongoing battle since then and I still have no [redacted] unlocked. First because the software they supply and which on the website says that you will have your I phone unlocked within less then five minutes. It also says if you are not completely satisfied we will give you a full refund. I have been trying to get my refund for this long with nothing but argument from them. First of all the refund was offered to me after they could not even do a factory unlock through the phone company and that did not work. I was told it would be refunded within 72 hours . When it did not get refunded I sent an email asking why and I was then sent a special offer for free their new device software. I did not have to purchase it but had to pay shipping. So for a little tiny chip which I paid for and it did not show the shipping price till after it was over twenty dollars to ship an envelope to me which is what the second one came to me in . It was supposed to be to me within three to five days and when it did not come I contacted them and they said they would send out another one. SO it took three weeks before I even got it and it did not work either. I asked for a refund on the membership and they refuse to give it to me saying that the two transactions are together and without me sending the device back that was ordered way after the initial purchase they would not refund me the membership fee. I have sent several different emails and just been rudely turned down with the same explanation. So I went in to the site again with my other email address and watched it and I printed everything out this time . I have documents stating the 100% guarantee if not satisfied and the receipt for this transaction. I tried again to unlock one of three different [redacted]s and could not unlock one and certainly did not unlock any in less then five minutes like they promise and as easy as it is . Its not easy at all. So I once again requested a refund and now they are refusing me that one saying it is the original transaction when it is seven months later and a totally different email and a payment again of the same amount with a different receipt number sent to me and they are now saying it is the same transaction , the same receipt number and I have to send the device back to get a refund on a purchase seven months later. Now if this is not blatantly ripping someone off I do not know what is I was under no obligation of the device they keep talking about being attached to any order or that I needed to return it if it did not work anfd I choose to keep it because I paid for it. I just want IPortis to live up to its promises and really going this far over thirty dollars is really silly and I have never had a company do that to me. I ordered product called "Network Optimizer", paid for it online & received an order confirmation but no product or download instructions whatsoever.I did not receive a product which I ordered and paid for on March 3rd, 2014, called "Network Optimizer". I quickly got an order confirmation by email, but it contained no indication of how or when I would obtain the software. There was also no explanation about delivery on the product's web page or on the e-commerce site iPortis which handled the transaction. My initial attempts to contact customer support via email failed, after which I noticed that their support email address is incorrectly spelled within their order conf. email as "[email protected] and also as "[email protected]" on their website. Not discouraged, I sent an email to their "info@" address and to their (correctly spelled) support address describing my situation. I got no response. The FAQ page states: "You get a login to ptimizing area immediately after purchase" (that's how it reads!). There was no login either. I suspect that there is an impropriety involved with this product's software company and/or the e-commerce company, iPortis. No product received.I purchased a code to unlock my phone through iportis. I was promised the code in 1 -10 hours. 48 hours later and I still have no code. I have tried emailing iportis and the provider but nothing has been replied to.
