Review: The estimate was accepted by me and the repairs were completed. When I inspected the work I found that he installed a part that I already had on my plumbing. He had claimed that the part was needed by code. I looked in my parents old bills and found one where the same plumber installed this same part and charged them. In other words he installed the same part twice over time and charged twice, claiming each time it was a code requirement.Desired Settlement: I'd like a refund for the part plus labor and acknowledgement of wrong doing.

This is a follow up to complaint #[redacted] that was submitted on 10/9/13 by [redacted]. In reviewing our records, we found that a part had been replaced once before and was not noticed in the basement when the most recent job was done. The customer indicated in the complaint that he talked to our company on 7/7/13. We have no record of that and had no previous knowledge of this concern until we received your letter dated 10/10/13.
