Ipsun Solar

Very poor communication and service. I told them I wanted a solar panel system which would eliminate my electric bill to $0. The system they ended up installing costs more than competitors and have in no way put a dent in my electric bill. In fact they do not even know how to calculate how much energy I would need as I have gotten three different numbers by the same person. I am still paying 40-60% as corresponding previous months. They have not made any attempts to rectify this. This has been over 12 months ago. They did not set up my system with SREC until 9 months later, cause me many lost revenue. I have tried to email numerous people in the company with almost zero response. They have an extremely high turnover of employees, making it extremely difficult to know how to contact. Even the owner himself does not respond to emails.

Excellent Solar Company
We had a great experience with Ipsun Solar and highly recommend them. Ipsun put 11 panels on our roof. We didn’t know much about the details of solar technology and Ipsun patiently answered every question we had. Once we signed they efficiently took care of permitting and HOA approvals. One of our favorite parts was how well they kept us informed. We received an email update every Tuesday, so we knew how things were moving along. Installation day was wonderful. They showed up when they said they would, were respectful, were very kind and patient with a curious toddler, and cleaned up when they were done. We appreciated that all of the folks who were up on the roof wore safety harnesses. Something that impressed me was how prepared Ipsun was for the inspection process. The process to get the system turned on was also efficient. There is an app that we they give you that allows you to track your production. Ipsun Solar was great to work with.

I am pleased to be able to recommend Herve Billiet and IPSUN Power as our solar company! From start to finish, IPSUN kept us informed about the progress of our project. I felt comfortable knowing that our system was being designed to fit our needs and budget. Everything proceeded as expected. The installation crew was prompt, courteous, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. We were able to consult with the company after the system was up and running to be sure our electric bills matched expectations and have access to monitoring data. I was pleasantly surprised to find that IPSUN even files the property tax exemption paperwork as well as providing paperwork for income tax credits. I would not hesitate to recommend IPSUN Power if you are interested in making a difference with solar power!

From the start Ipsun Power was great to work with. They did a survey of our property and made suggestions, each suggestion was backed with metrics to help us understand the impact of the system size that we were considering. They were VERY responsive in answering any questions that we had and when we needed time to think, they backed off and didn't pressure us.
The workers were very professional, clean and quick. My dog Peanut absolutely loved them which was actually cute as they would pet her over the gate each time they passed.

Everything about the experience was top notch and I would highly recommend them if you're considering solar.

Ipsun Power has been a great company to work with. They answered all of my questions regarding purchasing a solar system, guiding me through the whole process. The install crew that came to my house was very professional, courteous, and definitely knew what they were doing. Even after the project was complete, they submitted all the paperwork needed for me to receive the Fairfax County tax exemption!

Also, Ipsun has a great website where all of my documents, pictures, project schedule, receipts, etc are all in one place, which is a great resource. Plus you get access to a phone app where you can monitor your solar panel performance in real time and trend it over the long term.

From beginning to end, Ipsun Power completed their job effectively and professionally. Herve was personally very responsive and helped answer questions. I received a proposal that presented an option to own the solar system or to have a no up-front cost installation. The benefits of each were clearly laid out. Once a decision was made to install a system, all the details were handled by Ipsun Power. Installation was completed in one day. Ipsun Power handled all the paperwork and coordinated the process with PEPCO. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the work and would recommend the benefits of solar while you can get them!

The most important thing to me about a business is customer service. I have all positive things to say about the customer support I received from IPSun Power. The team was responsive, receptive to all my questions, and explained everything to me- I didn't feel alone throughout the entire process. Even after installation, they reached out to me to ensure everything was okay. They went above and beyond. Excellent service!

First and foremost, they are THE BEST! I have a large home (over 8,000 square feet). Their pricing and their professionalism are far better than the competition. The system installation has completely met my expectations and exceeded. Everything went thoroughly smoothly, without a hitch. There have been absolutely NO maintenance issues since installation.

Honestly, I wouldn't waste my time with any other company.

The crew at IPSunpower were great to work with, making the whole process easy. It started when they came out to the house to discuss the project. They started work on a proposal, and came out again to photograph the roof and finalize the design. Gave me a number of options for size and financing, handled all the permits and paperwork, and walked me through the whole procedure. Installation was quick and professional, took about a day and a half. Everyone on their team was friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone in the DMV area!

I called Herve and the Ipsun team to repair damage to my solar panes caused by a recent storm. AM impressed with the rapid response and attention to detail. Solid work at a fair price and no hassle. I first became aware of Ipsun when my Enphase Envoy suddenly quit on me and they happened to be the closest Enphase provider in my area (Washington DC Metro). They responded with lightening speed to send me a replacement and followed up to be sure I was able to install it with no problems.
At the end of December we had part of our roof torn off in a wind storm and had to have it quickly replaced. Ipsun to the rescue to have our existing system moved off the roof so that repairs could be done.
So impressed with their work and feeling like a VIP client, I looked to them to expand on my system. They innovated a solar awning to allowed for an additional 5 panels that beautifully integrated into our system. Not only did it add to our power production, it also works having a passive effect!
I highly recommend Ipsun and if I had more room would absolutely have them expand even more on my system.
