Absolutely horrific experience Was contacted by them to attend an event as what they call a delegate If you are a delegate, that essentially means that they do anything possible to have you attend, so that they can sell your face time as a product to their sponsors Their goal is to sell - on sales pitches between you and a sponsor, as each sponsor pays for this time to them In my case, I simply changed industries the week prior to the conference, and since they might not be able to make as much money off of me, they started trying to fraudulently impose financial charges to me First, they attempted to charge my CC $2,600, as an additional charge, even though there was absolutely no documented reason for this charged My CC company treated this as the fraud that it was and simply reversed the charge and replaced my card Second, prior to the event, they sent me multiple letters guaranteeing that our hotel room would have no charge for the two nights of the conference Upon arrival, I was told by the front desk that despite IQPC's moral, ethical and legal obligation to cover the room that they stated they would multiple times, they they had decided to refuse to cover the room payment I have dealt with extremely low level time share sales people, and these people and their organization have outdone them all on poor business ethics I highly recommend for anyone to run the other direction from this group On a side note, their "director" of delegate acquisitions lied to me and said that the $2,charge was because my prior company contacted them (not true, one of their team members saw it on [redacted] ) and that it was a "no show" fee Odd, because they charged it two days prior to the event, so they would have no idea if I was going to be a no show, which I obviously wasn't

Absolutely horrific experience. Was contacted by them to attend an event as what they call a delegate. If you are a delegate, that essentially means that they do anything possible to have you attend, so that they can sell your face time as a product to their sponsors. Their goal is to sell 6 - 1 on 1 sales pitches between you and a sponsor, as each sponsor pays for this time to them. In my case, I simply changed industries the week prior to the conference, and since they might not be able to make as much money off of me, they started trying to fraudulently impose financial charges to me. First, they attempted to charge my CC $2,600, as an additional charge, even though there was absolutely no documented reason for this charged. My CC company treated this as the fraud that it was and simply reversed the charge and replaced my card. Second, prior to the event, they sent me multiple letters guaranteeing that our hotel room would have no charge for the two nights of the conference. Upon arrival, I was told by the front desk that despite IQPC's moral, ethical and legal obligation to cover the room that they stated they would multiple times, they they had decided to refuse to cover the room payment. I have dealt with extremely low level time share sales people, and these people and their organization have outdone them all on poor business ethics. I highly recommend for anyone to run the other direction from this group.
On a side note, their "director" of delegate acquisitions lied to me and said that the $2,600 charge was because my prior company contacted them (not true, one of their team members saw it on [redacted]) and that it was a "no show" fee. Odd, because they charged it two days prior to the event, so they would have no idea if I was going to be a no show, which I obviously wasn't.

Review: 1-day conference on July **, 2013 Registration *-[redacted], Attendee: [redacted]

Before signing up for this conference, we inquired about pricing for one single hour-long presentation within the 1-day conference which was our SOLE INTEREST. We were told a whole day was billed regardless of which presentation we sought to attend.

We felt that one SPECIFIC hour was worth paying for a whole day.

48-hrs prior to the start of the conference, we were notified by email that the SPECIFIC PRESENTATION we sought to attend was cancelled.

We IMMEDIATELY cancelled our participation.

Merchant has since refused to issue a refund based on its 7-day advance cancellation policy.

Plainly, if merchant had given us 7-days advance notice of the cancellation of our targeted presentation, we would have provided them with 7-days advance notice of our cancellation in return.Desired Settlement: I believe that a total refund is due in light of the circumstances.

One cannot be expected to give a 7-day advance cancellation notice when given a mere 48-hr notice of a change which triggers your need to cancel.
