Consumer called and stated issue is resolved

Review: On 18 August 2014 I brought an IPod Touch Gen 4 into iRepairSavannah for a battery replacement. Prior to this date the IPod charged the battery but the charge would not last long. After I picked up my IPod I noticed that the new battery wouldn't charge at all. I brought the IPod back a second time and was told "sometimes the batteries don't work". Once again, the newest battery wouldn't charge either. I brought it back a third time. From day 1 I never received a single call from the business. I was always the one calling or dropping in to check on the status. The business actually lost my IPod after my third drop off. Once they found it, which I had to call them to find out, they finally told me my charging chip was bad. I questioned them on how it could charge normally before I brought it in and now all of a sudden it has a bad charging chip. I told them they could keep the battery and to just refund my $49. I was told to email the owner, Ryan [redacted] which I did. That was three days ago and I still haven't heard back from him. I emailed Mr. [redacted] this morning expressing my disappointment in his lack of communication and expressed my intentions of filing a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I will gladly return the battery they put in my IPod for a full refund of the $49 I paid for the service. I will be out the original battery and my IPod is worthless now since it won't charge but I will be satisfied to receive my refund.

Review: I brought my Canon Rebel to IRepair Savannah to have them replace the memory card slot in May. They stated they could make the repair and that it would take approx. 2 weeks as they had to send out for the part. They required the full payment of $150 upfront which I paid. I called 3 weeks later and was told the part had not arrived. I called again after another 2 weeks and was told the part had still not arrived. I called again 2 weeks later and was told the part came in, but was defective and they had sent it back for replacement. I called again 3 weeks later and was told they were having trouble getting Canon to respond and send the part. I called a week later and was told that due to the fact it had been over 2 months and they could not get any information from Canon, that they were just going to replace my camera. I was told they would have it in 1 week. I called back in a week and was told it had not arrived. About a week later I received a call that my camera was in and I could pick it up. The camera would not turn on. I thought it may be a dead battery so I had them notate the camera would not turn on and I took it home. At home I put in a charged battery and the camera would not turn on. I took the memory card out and realized the camera they had given me was my original camera as the memory card slot had the exact same damage. I checked the cameras serial number and verified it was in fact the same camera. I called them and explained that the camera was not operational, I was told to bring it in on Saturday so they could look at it. I did so and was told the owner was too busy to come out and look at it or to speak with me. I was told to come back another time. I asked for a refund and was told they did not issue refunds. I went to another camera repair store and was immediately told that Canon had discontinued all parts to my camera 2 years ago so replacement was not possible and there was no way to get the needed part.Desired Settlement: As IRepair Savannah did no work on my camera, nor was there any way they possibly could have I would like a full refund. They lied to me regarding the status of my repair and then replacement. The fact that they gave the exact camera back (verified by serial numbers) is further proof that nothing was done.
