Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2016/05/03) */
(Revdex.com received business' response by phone.)
The item in issue is something they received that wasn't operating correctly. It didn't work when I hooked it up, and they were waiting for a new one to come in, and I can't stand there and wait. ...

I told them to call me when the new one come in and they never called me back. Now I contacted Mr. [redacted] and he's going to call you and let you know that we got things straightened out between me and him. I done tons of work in there that I never even charged him for. (inaudible)
I've been in business 30 years and never had anything filed from Revdex.com.

I had my tablet screen fix before this incident. I had no issues. I recently had to get my screen repaired again and have had several issues. When I went to picked up my screen, I inspected it. The screen and the back of my tablet were not connected correctly and secured. There also was a small crack. I went back to get it fixed the same day inspected it. It was repaired again a few days later but my tablet screen was still loose with back puckering and would not charge or come on. On yesterday, I got my tablet again and the screen is still elevated and there is puckering on the back cover. The work on my tablet is tacky and I have voiced my concern to the staff and they pretty much have said that there is nothing to be done about it. I have a loose screen and puckering. This was not the state of my tablet when I gave it to them. Very disappointed. I have to say the staff are professional.Product_Or_Service: [redacted] Desired SettlementRefund

Review: I took my iPhone to this place April 6, 2014 at about 4pm. I had the back of my iPhone 4s fixed as it was broken and had the auxiliary and volume buttons replaced (the auxiliary was giving me issues and they insisted that it was all one part). I was told that my phones repair would be completed by 7 pm which was also closing time for a Sunday night. My boyfriend and I waited at the mall until 7pm. I then waited right at their place from 7-7:40pm. At 7:40pm the man there Albashir said that my phone would no longer turn on and asked if I could come back the next day for my phone and that my phone would be completed at opening of the next day which was 10am. I asked what they could do for me for the inconvenience and the man told me that he could give me a couple dollars back from what I paid and he would also give me a new battery. I had the phone 2 and a half years with continuous use so the battery was not at it's highest functionality. I agreed. When I returned the next day somewhere between 11am and noon a man named mike was there. He was working on an iPad. He told me that my phone was not working still but they had a loaner phone I could use until my phone was repaired. He then said he would call me later that day to tell me if he thought my phone would be fixed. He also promised that the two services I paid for would be fixed, I would receive a new battery and he would also give me a free case and screen protector. At about 6pm, I received a call from them telling me my phone was complete. I went to pick it up and I received the phone case and screen protector as well as a working phone. I also have two missing pixels from my screen now as well as a severely scratched camera lens. I have a photo taken the same day I brought the phone in and the photo is clear. Due to such a scratched lens, all of my photos are now blurry. As a person who takes thousands of photos on my iPhone, I am very upset. I am unhappy with the amount of time it took to repair my phone as well as the gas I used to go there to leave without a working phone. I am also unhappy with my missing pixels, and most importantly the fact that my phone was damaged while in their care.Desired Settlement: I do not trust my phone I'm their care so I have come to you instead of them. I would like a full $65 refund so that I can now go to another place and repair the camera lens that was scratched while they were servicing my iPhone 4s. I would also possibly like a change to their procedures (possible contract) so that they can be held responsible for future customers.

Review: I brought my iPhone 5S to get the screen replaced. I picked it up a couple hours later and everything seemed to be fine. Over the next two-three days the screen began to pop off the phone. I could literally see the insides of my phone. I called the business and they brushed this off as no big deal and I could come back in and get it replaced again free of charge. It must have been defective from the manufacturer. I do so takes two hours and I pick it up again. At this time, they blamed it on the case I was using. A very nice expensive case. They recommended I not use this case and that is most likely the reason the screen popped off. So, I discontinued use of the case. Within 24 hours the screen was popping off again. By this time I was already in Atlanta and had to wait until I returned to get it repaired. I went into the store to get it repaired once again. They refused to see me because the CARBON COPY piece of paper I needed was not with me. Where is the other copy??? I literally was told to leave with a broken phone at no fault of my own. My girlfriend called to tried to understand the issue with their screens as she has worked in this industry before and this has never happened and they hung up on her. I would like a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the screen service.

Review: I went to the Irepair in Parkway Plaza for my daughters Iphone 4. They repaired the screen and replaced the screen protector. After 3 weeks the screen protector came off. They replaced that with no problem. The following week (four weeks after getting it fixed) I returned because the screen was cracked again. I explained that the screen protector was 100% guaranteed, and that he even took a hammer to one of his phones to show it's durability. I asked him to fix it and he said "sure" if you want to pay for it. I reminded him of the guarantee. His response was "it's only 95% guaranteed, not 100%. The guy would not budge and said that because he was such a nice guy he'd give me a discount to have it repaired again.Desired Settlement: The screen protector was supposed to be 100% guaranteed. 4 weeks after the purchase it was broken. I don't feel like I should be out $95.00 because he decided it was a percentage guaranteed on a whim. I don't have the money to go spend on something that will only last a month.

Review: We sent a working IPOD to have the screen replaced. We received back a non-working IPOD with the screen smashed even worse than when we sent it originally.

The IPOD was fully functional and now it does not work at all. When we contacted them to let them know the condition that we received the product, they said we sent it to them in that condition, which is completely untrue.Desired Settlement: We would like a replacement IPOD to replace the one that was broken by this company.
