iRepair.ca

When we had brought our *** into iRepair.ca it had a broken screen. They had successfully replaced the screen on the device with a new screen that was purchased on our behalf by iRepair to repair the device. When we picked it up everything worked correctly with the device, the following day the device started rebooting randomly and the device was inoperative. We had requested iRepair to fix it, and they had said they would send it out to have a mainboard replaced, they claimed to their most experienced phone technician, this process took about a week, and after following up with them as they still had the phone at this time, they claimed the device was unable to be repaired. We had requested since that was the case, would like a refund on the screen, as it was unused and we had already bought the screen but didn't have the device back in our hands. They said they would require the refund to be performed as an interac e-transfer, they had taken my email address and said by the end of the week I would receive the etransfer.
We had someone by the name of *** follow up with us who identified themselves as our Account Manager, they suggested this is a top priority for them and she would see to it that we would get our refund. By the end of the first week we didn't receive any email transfer, we had followed up with iRepair on the Tuesday the following week, and we were once again reassured we would receive the e-transfer refund. We have been following up with iRepair every two weeks about this refund, still waiting to receive it but keep being reassured that will eventually get the refund. After calling iRepair the last two times in the same week, they claim they had recorded my email incorrectly so I had corrected my email address with them twice, and they claimed I would receive the etransfer today (Aug 24th). It is now the second week since I had provided the updated email address to them and I still haven't received it. This issue started May 7th, and it is now Aug24.
