***After Iris Farms responded to my review (see below), felt the need to add this to my review:
I find it very interesting and coincidental that you are “downsizing” as you call it, selling off some older dogs who, thank God, are no longer being overbred for your financial greed. When there are multiple litters at one time, that is a puppy mill. And the fact that you are on a farm and yet these pups are afraid of grass (as if they’ve never experienced it?) Hmmmmm, that means they are just kept in crates until adoption. Oh, and one more thing, I know for a fact my friends are not the only ones who purchased a sickly pup and are owed money from you…there is in fact a list. Do us all a favor (and those poor dogs): close your doors once and for all. Shame on you and your greed.

QUITE LITERALLY A S
T SHOW...
I drove to Iris Farms to look at (2) female Frenchie pups...and did so despite some red flags such as finding out after several conversations that the dogs came from Texas (no parents on premises) and more importantly their inability to introduce me to a local vet that would vouch for their operation saying "we use lots of vets".
They also insisted on cash, that any credit card payment would have a 8.5% surcharge.
So I went in with my eyes wide open...
The picture of Iris Farms is very deceiving - the farmhouse looked to be abandoned and the barn was in poor shape. I was ushered into a small waiting room with (2) pens on a tile floor. In the back, judging from the noise there were a lot of dogs…
The (2) pups were absolutely manic, not what I would have expected of dogs that had received "loving care". I asked that they be let out of the pen and they went somewhat berserk...I have experience with Frenchies - this wasn't normal...
I then asked to see some older puppies and one of the two they brought out appeared to be sick...it was misshapen and almost looked drugged. And the two I came to see started with explosive diarrhea...at which point I excused myself.
Iris appears to be a puppy mill - I would avoid at all costs.
Sandra called to say she had refunded the consumer the money in the amount of $for the vet billsAfter waiting a month to receive the vet bill, once I received the vet bill I immediately refunded the amount of the billI am very sorry that the puppy had parasitesIt is very common in young puppies and I am very sorry this happened to herMy partner and I have been doing this for years and it is very important that my clients are happyAnd again, I am very sorry that this has happened to this personOnce in a while, you can't please everybody, you just do the best you canOn august 17th, I forwarded the Revdex.com a copy of the refund receipt for the client vet bill(attached) She also did not meet the condition of sales time frame and the vet bill she sent to me was not signed eitherBut I still refunded the money she requested
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have just checked my Credit card statement, there is no credit from Sandra.... Also she NEVER asked me for a vet billI contacted her twice both times she didn't care at all just for the recordfinally just mailed her one, (was waiting because vet was sure both dogs would need a second treatment) You would think she would have followed up with me after initial contactAlso Just for the record NO WHERE on her site does she say she is not the breeder of these pups, SHE IS A MIDDLE MAN, I have no idea where this dog came from. The puppy also came with an expired vaccine. POOR POOR POOR I should be asking for full purchase price back of 3000.00 The puppy was at vet again last nigh more diarrhea another 58.00 Never had such a sick dogRegards, *** ***`
Sandra called to say she had refunded the consumer the money in the amount of $326.00 for the vet bills. After waiting a month to receive the vet bill, once I received the vet bill I immediately refunded the amount of the bill. I am very sorry that the puppy had parasites. It is very common in young puppies and I am very sorry this happened to her. My partner and I have been doing this for 21 years and it is very important that my clients are happy. And again, I am very sorry that this has happened to this person. Once in a while, you can't please everybody, you just do the best you can. On august 17th, I forwarded the Revdex.com a copy of the refund receipt for the client vet bill. (attached) She also did not meet the condition of sales time frame and the vet bill she sent to me was not signed either. But I still refunded the money she requested.
