We are pleased to report that this issue has been amicably resolved between both parties

*** *** asked, "Why was I not told at that point that all damage needed to be reported before I left?" On the back of the valet ticket *** *** accepted when he checked in to the facility, clause ii reads, "Customer agrees to inspect vehicle and to report any claim of damage or loss in writing prior to leaving facility and if not so made, any such claim is waived by Customer."

Our local General Manager at our lot at LGA has contacted this guest with the contact information provided, and we have come to an amicable resolution.

As [redacted] stated in this complaint, he called in the damage to his vehicle the day after he departed the lot.  This is why the insurance company denied the claim.  They have no way of knowing what happened to the vehicle between the time the vehicle departed the lot and the...

damage was called in.

At this time, I have not been contacted directly by The Parking Spot regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has  been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
The parking spot has submitted a claim to [redacted], their insurance company. I believe they...

falsified a damage record that stated there was damage to the passenger side mirror prior to us leaving it in their establishment because [redacted] denied the claim. I did not bring my car in with any damage to the mirror. Two weeks later the mirror was shattered.  I have an estimate of $690.00 for a new casing and mirror. I called [redacted] and talked to a supervisor. I talked with Laslo F[redacted]. He walked me through the security camera video that he had. He told me that the video was grainy and he could not see it clearly enough for judgement. I asked him if he saw the pictures of our damage claim. He replied that there was obvious damage, as the mirror was hanging out of the casing by the wires and there was a gaping hole on the front of the casing. We came to an agreement that we would settle for $500.00. I would assume the responsibility of not taking my own precaution of trusting them, and take my own pictures to show proof of an intact car. I am aware now that anyone can draw up a false record of damage and predate it to cover their butts. I am not falsely claiming this as I know for a fact that the damage was done sometime after our departure and before our arrival to pick it up. I will never use the Parking Spot again and encourage anyone traveling to use an alternate business.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The company has not provided all the facts.  We picked up our car at approximately 11PM on 7/**/17 in the midst of a thunderstorm.  It was extremely dark and the damage to the car was on the underside of the back rear panel.  I was told by the insurance company that the Parking Spot reviewed the tape of my car entering their facility with no damage.  They also reviewed the tape of my car leaving the facility and I was told their camera did not give them the correct angle to see the damaged part of the car so they are therefore denying the claim as they cannot prove it happened on their premises. I was told by the insurance company that the Parking Spot had THEM deny the claim, not vice versa.  I drove the car home with my family and parked it in my driveway, again at about midnight on 7/**/17.  When I went out in the sunshine in the morning, approximately 7 hours after leaving the facility, I noticed the damage on the car and immediately called the Parking Spot and spoke to Manager Luis A[redacted].  Why was I not told at that point that all damage needed to be reported before I left?  Why was I asked to send in all photos and documentation?  I would like the Parking Spot to show me the video of my car from when it went into their facility to when it left.  They must have video surveillance of its every move.  I am certain this damage was caused by them and after reading many more complaints on [redacted] now I see that many other people have had damage to the rear part of their automobiles also from this establishment.  Someone, or something they are using to maneuver the cars into their elevated spots, caused the damage.
