Daniel B [redacted] installed a chimney liner and chimney cap at my residenceHe also serviced the chimney by means of an annual cleaning for a few yearsWhen another chimney professional had to service my chimney because Daniel B [redacted] was a no show to perform this annual service, this other professional alerted me to several problems with the chimney's installation performed by Daniel B [redacted] and his companyThe size of the chimney liner is too small based on the BTU's of my furnace and the liner was never properly mounted at the top of the chimney so it would properly stay in placeThe chimney liner should be six inches in diameter instead of the five inch liner that Daniel B [redacted] installedThe stainless steel cap that Daniel B [redacted] installed was of poor quality and was held in place only by regular screws and a dab of silicone gelThe chimney cap has since blown off my chimney during a wind stormThe pictures on the postcards that he provides customers do not reflect the insuff

Review: Hired [redacted] to repair a weather worn chimney. Completed the chimney in a satisfactory manner, but workers dropped the top portion of the chimney on my neighbor's property damaging the side of their home, cement gutter catch and a part of their yard. Also, during the demolition of the chimney the workers dropped pieces of the chimney on a brand new canopy on my property. Upon further inspection after the job was completed the workers left debris on the roof, rain gutter, sidewalk, deck and yard. There was also debris on my neighbor's flat roof as well. [redacted] has promised to make this right, but has failed to show up after three phone calls promising such action.Desired Settlement: We would like [redacted] to fix our neighbor's siding, cement gutter catch and yard, clear the debris from our roof and rain gutter and refund us $200 for the 4 roof panels that were damaged on the new canopy on our property. We have already cleaned our yard, deck and sidewalk and our neighbor had to go on his roof to clean the debris, so we have resolved these issues on our own.

Response:
Attached are the receipts and photos from our property. I will send pictures of our neighbor's property in an additional email.
Thank you.
Review: Dan B[redacted] of chimney sweeps did not complete the job. We paid in full 1367.00 to have a chimney liner installed and he did not finish and won't return our calls. Liner goes only halfway down chimney. Ugi was able to confirm. We want our money back. He is also using Revdex.com on his bill as advertisement.Desired Settlement: We want our money back.
Review: I paid [redacted] $500.00 on March 20 and $700.00 on March 26 to rebuild a chimney at my home and the work was Never started or completed
Review: they were hired to put in a masonary chimney in for a wood stove. chimney was installed in sept. of 2013.agreement was to install chimney and then later come back for complete wood stove installation and some other items that were initially agreed upon.they got my money the same day as installation and never came back to hook wood stove up.then after that I called 3 other chimney pros in the area and none of them would hook the stove up to the chimney because everything that they did in the chimney installation was wrong and unsafe.for example you always need a 6 inch flue in a wood stove chimney they put in a 5 inch.also the footer they put in was less than a foot deep, the other chimney pros said it needs to be a minimum of 3 feet so its below the frostline.in this case the chimney can fall over if footer is not below frostline.I basically have a 1800.00 chimney that needs to be torn down.also the roof where they went up through with the chimney is cobbled so bad water is running down the chimney and my siding. I have requested with the owner , danny brenen that I want my money back but to no avail. I have a lawyer now and will be moving forward with this issue because I have not got any satisfaction with this man.I do not want this to happen to anyone else. if he wants to give me my 1800.00 I will not pursue this any further.Desired Settlement: refund of 1800.00
