nowhere does it state that this would be a four day jobShe has written on the contract that the job was to be finished by July 21stShe received the concrete/coping proposal on April 2ndShe did not return her signed proposal until June 28thIt takes a minimum of a week to ten days to rece
ive the special order materialsHer coping job was finished on July 17th prior to the July 21st

I have attached a weather history showing that there was rain and thunderstorms in her area during
that time period that can delay construction
Ms*** states that we overbooked and hired *** concrete in East Peoria to do the concrete work
I would like to clarify we do NOT do concreteNever haveWe subcontracted with *** Concrete &
Sons to do the concrete work that Ms*** was requestingIn our proposal it states that there is one bag of color per yards of concreteMs*** wanted a darker color and requested that *** Concrete increase the amount of color per yard above the already assigned contract and changed to stamped concrete rather than the broomed finish we proposedShe did not pay Mr*** NOR D & L Pool for the additional increase in cost for her changesThe concrete was also sealed due to going to the stamped design which was not included in the or original contract as wellThis amounted to an additional $dollars in concrete costs that were not paid by Ms***Mr*** addressed her directly for the extra fees and she has refused to pay them
She is correct she did contract for us to remove a section of concrete around the pool, replace the
coping, backfill and reinstall concreteThat job was completedThe work that our company performed is not where her complaint lies
We contactd Jason *** June 25th to alert him to Ms***’s concrete concernsWe had repeatedly
asked for Ms*** to send us pictures of the cracked, chipped concreteWe did not receive anything from her until August 10thWe immediately forwarded on the pictures to Mr***Concrete will crack especially in the harsh winters we have here
Below are the pictures that she sent showing the small crackThis is not considered a defect in the concrete due to the size of the crack and the weather that we have in this areaWe do agree that the chip should be repairedWe have addressed that with Mr*** and we have given her his contact number again as well since she is the one that requested something different than what was contractedMr*** does not feel compelled to do anymore work for her after already losing $on the jobWe cannot force Mr*** to do the work as he is not employed by our companyWe do not do concrete work so that is not something we would repairWe are not willing to pay for someone else to fix something that we did not put in to begin withWe have repeatedly told Ms*** to contact Mr*** regarding her concrete issue
As you can see from the picture the concrete crack is very small
We did the work as specified in the contractIt seems that the problem she is having is directly with Mr*** and her complaint should be filed against him and not D & L Pools as we have been trying to work with her on getting this resolvedWe have been trying to facilitate between the two parties to get resolve alreadySince the Revdex.com is into mediation we would suggest that she revise her complaint to *** Concrete and not D & L P

I sent the check on June 28, 2014, after numerous times of trying to contact her by phone on completion of the poolOn July 8, they cut concrete according to the concrete proposal on D & L Pools, Inc letter head which does not state who will completing the jobThe pool was also drained which pictures were taken of the jobCoping was installed on July 17, Concrete was done July 22, July 23rd the pool was filled with waterI did not contract *** & *** concrete and did not request any work beyond what was listed on D & L Pools, Inc's proposalMr *** did not ask me for any additional proposals/moneyHe was contracted by D & L Pools so they should file a complaint against himI tried contacting *** & *** through phone & facebook with no responseI have not heard any response from eitherI'm in the process of getting a log of my phone calls to D&L Pools to prove the numerous times I tried to contact them with no return calls
