We used Iron River to complete a basement remodel project Randy Spring was our PM and he did an excellent job communicating and thinking through all the little details with us We were extremely happy with the finished product and the care they took keeping our house clean as they did the work

We recently completed a kitchen remodel in our 1980's split style homeThis was our first experience with any type of remodel project (except for those small DIY around the house) and we were not sure where to even start! We met with several teams to determine who would be the right fit and when we sat down with Rick, we knew almost immediately that we would be able to work with him - and he would listen to us and put up with us throughout the processThe step by step nature that Iron River takes you through (planning, design and scheduling process) makes it easy to understandWe were very eager to get started and felt like things moved a bit slow in the beginning, but by the end understood why! Everything in due time! And no matter what, it does not happen as fast as it does on TV! By the end, we (animals included) were all ready to have our house back to ourselves We still walk into our kitchen and are amazed by the transformation! We enjoy cooking and hanging out and are no longer tripping over each otherOf course we're happy with all of our new granite, tile, cabinets, etcHowever, the key was the new flowWhile we didn't change the footprint of the kitchen, moving key appliances around and changing the space where the "traffic" areas are made a huge differenceDuring the remodel we knew it was a good decision, now that we're actually using the kitchen, we know it was the RIGHT decision

I recently had my deck replaced using Iron River for the job I specifically worked with project manager Randy He did an excellent job explaining my options as well as explaining each step of the process

Iron River did a basement finish including exercise area, social area, bath including a steam shower Kitchen updates with Cambria counter tops and back splash Deck replacement with composite product, Fresh paint throughout, identified and repaired water damage in garage ceilingThey were on time, on budget They seemed to be very selective in their choice of subcontractors who demonstrated high quality and professionalismThe decorator consultant, Jessica was great to work with and had great ideasOf particular note, Iron River did a fantastic job communicating what was coming up and most of all, was easy to work with

Iron River was awesome to work withThey finished our basement ahead of schedule and it looks greatTrue professionals, and they cared about us as people, not as clientsThey helped provide the highest quality at the best price, and the communication is top notchAlways quick to respond, and always going above and beyond

Iron River was an excellent choice for my porch construction project from the get-go, and here's why:
From the very beginning of our project, I was treated respectfullyThe project manager and estimator were on time, and immediately had ideas and recommendationsThey were creative and had imagination for how a simple screen porch could be fabulous
The estimate was exactly within the range I expectedThey were thorough, respected my budget, and made it happen with quality materials and excellent craftsmen
At each point during the construction process, I knew what was going to happen, and when
The Project Manager kept me informed every step of the wayRandy kept an unforeseen building permit/inspection matter from costing additional time and money, and smoothened the process with the inspectorsIn Minneapolis, that's saying somethingHe was positive, easy to work with, communicative and replied to messages at all hours
Final punch list was executed promptly and clewas good

I had one deck completely rebuilt and another resurfaced by Iron River ConstructionIt was completed in a timely manner with superior workmanshipThe decks look gorgeous! The crew was friendly and helpful in answering questionsRandy, the Project Manager, was patient with my questions and had good suggestionsHe even came out on his day off to finish part of a railingI will definitely be using Iron River Construction again in the future

I chose to use Iron River Construction to fix my deck that the previous Homeowners had built themselvesThere were many complicated issues with this deck to include city code issuesI called around for about months asking companies for quotes and setting up appointmentsMost of the companies came out, but never ended up giving me a quote or if they did it was weeks and weeks past when they said they would I contacted Iron River thinking I was going to deal with the same issue but was pleasantly surprised to find how professional and attentive they were with my issuesI was able to set up a visit, and received a quote back in person very quicklyRandy worked with me to customize my design and worked with my budgetI was very satisfied, and at times felt like I was the only customer, and that's a good feeling when you are dealing with an expensive project like a deckIron River completed my project quickly, but professionallyWhen I did have a few things wrong at the end, they addressed that issue within a day and was out to fix a few small thingsI would recommend Iron River to my friends and neighbors without a thought

We recently completed a remodel project involving our garage and the replacement of several windows in our home. From day one the project began beyond my expectations. It was well laid out and explained. The project was very well managed by Randy the Iron River Project Manager, and the work done by Rick and Dale the Iron River carpenters was simply outstanding!!. The electricians, drywall, taper and painter subs all did excellent work. The entire project was completed on time and definitely exceeded our overall expectations!!

We chose Iron River Construction to finish the basement in our 1947 Minneapolis home. We have never done a project like this so we turned to reviews, and pictures of past projects to narrow down our list of top contractors. We liked that our general contractor, Randy, was willing to work with us so we could finish some aspects of the project to help keep the cost manageable on this large project. Randy made himself very available through phone, email, and text. I always felt like I could ask questions, and I appreciated that type of working relationship throughout the project. We hired Iron River Construction to redo our back deck with composite materials. We are extremely pleased with the final results, a great looking deck, and the process to get there. The project manager went thru the initial estimating and planning process in great detail to ensure both parties agreed to the work to be performed and the various design, product and cost options. The work was completed quickly with continuous communication to monitor progress and provide status. Near the project's end, they accommodated some last minute design refinements to ensure full customer satisfaction. Their professionalism, friendly and responsive customer support and high quality of workmanship helped to alleviate the potential stress of a major investment. We highly recommend them for future home improvement and construction needs.

I hired Iron River Construction to install custom built fireplace book shelves and a mantel. We are beyond pleased with the final product. The project manager constantly kept us in the loop on status and everything was planned and executed to perfection. The price we were quoted was the price we paid and there were no surprises along the way as the entire process was transparent. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend them!

We had a deck built by Iron River and their subs. Originally we were going to wait until spring after moving to a new house late summer but with the weather and assurances from our project manager Randy Spring that they could get us on the schedule in October, we went ahead. The entire project took 2 weeks and we have a fabulous deck with still some time to enjoy. Specs are the deck is 12/16 with an extension for walkway and steps to the back yard. Their team worked the design for our steps to minimize blocking the lake view from our lower level windows. Very good work and on time.

I recently had my deck replaced using Iron River for the job. I specifically worked with project manager Randy. He did an excellent job explaining my options as well as explaining each step of the process.

Last spring our basement was destroyed by a flood, I called Iron river construction and someone was at our house that same day to check it out and assess what needed to be done to get our lower level living space back to the way it was. Everybody that was involved with the project was very courteous and professional and for a fair price we got everything we wanted and more, I highly recommend them for any kind of project

This company went way beyond my expectations on their work on my lower level after an unexpected flood. They answered all my many questions about the work and the quality was outstanding.
