Alfred G stole my money. He arrived at my home with what he claimed was several cords of firewood and dumped it on my property. I paid him in full given he claimed the entire load was there and appeared to be a nice enough young man. I contacted him a couple days later, after I finished stacking/sorting it, to let him know HALF my expected delivery was missing. He seemed receptive at first and apologized, he assured me he would compete the delivery. I never heard from Al *** again. I’ve left him several voicemails over the last couple weeks, he has failed to respond. I’ve sent him text messages, he’s failed to respond. This week is a month later and Al *** still has a couple hundred dollars of my money that he never provided a service or product for and has been deliberately avoiding me for weeks now.

On approximately 1/25/20 *** ordered a medium size load of seasoned firewood (approximately 2 cords) from Ironhorse tree service for the amount of 450.00 dollars. It was delivered. Upon arrival it was inspected by the customer to ensure satisfaction, (this is our policy) before dumping any product on a customer’s property. I personally the owner of Ironhorse tree service delivered this load to *** and introduced myself. After our introduction we inspected the load of firewood and customer was satisfied. (we always put a little more than ordered in every order to show our appreciation). About 3 to 4 days after, I received a call from *** stating that he does not feel as if he received a fair amount of product for the amount spent with us.

Although he received exactly what was ordered . (A six wheeler dump truck load of firewood) (usually about 2 cords.)

I felt that I had given *** exactly what he had ordered and I wasn’t obligated to provide anymore product to Anthony. when I spoke with him I wanted him to be a happy repeat customer. so I agreed to give him another load in a much smaller truck to be delivered within a week free of charge, before I could deliver to him things began to change. *** stated if he did not have his wood right away that he would call the state police and file a complaint stating that I stole his money and never delivered the product. He also stated that he would contact the Revdex.com and file a complaint. He also informed me that he would continue to slander my business on social media the internet and wherever else possible

I Alfred g*** owner of Ironhorse tree service am sorry to have to reply a dispute like this. As it is my goal as owner of the business to have happy satisfied customers.

The bottom line to this issue is *** was happy with what he received but then decided he wanted to fill his firewood rack and wanted something for free, and thought he would get it by threatening me with slander or by filing a complaint, but that is not the case, I warn any other providers and or contractors of

I am rejecting this response because:

Phone records *** Attempts were made by phone and text to contact Mr. G over the course of several weeks before I stated action would be taken against him. I have a saved history of our communications, and they will show that our deal was specifically for 2 cords of wood, not one truckload as Mr. G has suggested. Furthermore records will show that I not only accepted Mr. G initial response, where he agreed that this was not his usual truck and that he didn’t know exactly what the truck could hold, and will show I received it with understanding. Action was only taken when thereafter Mr. G deliberately ignored my attempts to communicate with him and will also show that I simply requested Mr. G contact me so we could resolve the issue. I will be more than happy to submit the entire history of our communications, I hope Mr. G would do the same. There’s a large difference between what was agreed upon and what was delivered, *** he and I went over the product as it was delivered, given it’s a pile of wood and dirt and almost impossible to know what was there before sorting, stacking and cleaning. My only mistake was believing Al G was an honest young man. Mr. G says “things changed” and he’s right, I became upset when it became outstandingly clear Mr. G would not be taking any of my calls and would not be returning to deliver the remainder of my purchase. Mr. G seeks to paint a picture that I want something for free, when I’ve never wanted any more than what I paid for and his response is merely an attempt to deflect responsibility. *** Again, I offer the entire history of our communication as proof of my patience and understanding with regard to the issue and would furthermore serve to show the unprofessionalism and ***. I request he also offer all communications between us. ***
