Review: Credit Card charged 3 timesDesired Settlement: Charges removed from credit card

Review: Direct TV did an ACH debit withdrawal on my account for $48.58. I have no idea how they got my checking information. They told me I would have to send my debit account number to them along with documentation showing the debit transaction and they would process it within 7 to 10 business days. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Direct TV had no business taking any money from my checking account. PNC Bank believes it may have been a mistake on the account numbers of who should have been charged. I have gotten no satisfaction, nor cooperation from Direct TV. I advised them that any overdraft fees as a result of this UNAUTHORIZED transaction will be strictly on them. I have never been a customer of Direct TV and I never will be one in the future.Desired Settlement: I would like for Direct TV to Put my money BACK INTO MY CHECKING ACCOUNT as EXPEDIENTLY as they removed it.

Review: I called and signed up with Direct TV on 10-24-14 for a 24 month agreement (account #27501249) There was a $300 deposit. I was told it would be refunded in monthly credit. When I got my first bill a month later, I saw they were providing me the credit of $5 per month for 60 months, not dividing it into the 24 month contract I agreed to (which would be $12.50 to get it paid back in 24 months) . I called today 11-26-14 (on the phone for 1hr & 6 min.) seeking help with understanding and correcting this. I did advise my first contact Krista I would be recording this conversation. We talked about 9 min. She agreed that did not sound right but could not help me would need to put me thru to someone in billing. Next was Kyle, we talked about 15 min. She also agreed that did not sound right but could not help me put me thru to someone in accounting. Next was Tamara we talked for about 31 min. She explained that this is what it is and that it was correct and she could not make any changes/adjustments and I would be sacrificing $280 if I did not continue my service for 60 months.,I ask to speak to someone else that might be able to help. Next was Rodriguez we spoke about 11 min. He informed me Tamara was correct and that he could not help me either. Rodriguez when on to go off subject and say that I should be looking forward for the specials I would qualify for if I make all my payments on time. I told him this has nothing to do with the $280. He just went on and on about all the specials I would qualify for if I make all my payments on time. I asked to be transferred to someone else. I was put on hold and never heard from anyone else.I am just looking to have them modify my account credit to be refunded by the end of the 24 month service contract (not 5 years)Desired Settlement: Modify my account credit to be refunded by the end of the 24 month service contract.(account #27501249)

Review: I was using Direct TV for my cable and provider in 2012. I was living in a duplex on [redacted] Ave in Miles City, Mt. The duplex flooded due to an external sewer problem. The landlord requested that we move because it was going to be a prolonged fix. I moved to [redacted] Lane. I made contact with Direct TV to inform them that I was forced to move to another location. The installer came several weeks later to install my system at the new location. I was on the wrong side of the complex for the dish to receive signal. The manager of the complex would not allow Direct TV to install the dish on the other side of the building and run the cable across the building to my side of the complex. The dish was placed at other locations but could not receive signal. I contacted customer support and let them know that I could not use their hookup due to the location I was renting. I was current on my bill at that point. They will not transfer services from one location to another unless you are current. I received several bills after that which I contacted customer support and requested a release from my contract. I was told that I was released due to the situation where Direct TV could not gain permission to install at the correct place on the building and due to the situation of my move. I was sent a box to return the equipment. The equipment was returned to Direct TV.My credit report is showing that I owe 576.70 for an early cancellation fee of $320 and a suspension fee of $256.70. I talked to customer support after several attempts for them to find my account and explain the charges. They are refusing to erase this from my credit report and I am refusing to pay the charges. I need help to resolve this issue and expunge this from my credit report. I feel they need to give me the credit of $576.70.Desired Settlement: I want the settlement to delete this charge and remove it from my credit report. I feel they should keep their word when they say they will void my contract due to the circumstances and then send me a box to return the equipment. I returned the equipment in good faith that I would not owe any other charges.

Review: I am relocating to Ohio for my job, and I'm being told that I will have to pay and early termination fee of $360.00. I explained to the Direct TV supervisor that I am relocating for work and that this was an unexpected move. I also explained that where I am moving in Ohio doesn't allow residents to have Direct TV.Desired Settlement: I would like to be let out of my contract, without having to pay an early termination fee.

Review: Direct Tv pulled money from my debit card without my authorization to pay an account for which I am not an authorized user, nor the account holder. The account is in my grandmother's name and the service is at her address in Texas. I have made 3 one time payments for her several month's back. She failed to continue paying the account and instead of billing her like they had been, Direct Tv used my debit card to pay her bill plus her termination fee. I filed a dispute and they denied it because my address is somehow the billing address on the account which makes no sense. I have never received a bill from Direct Tv, all the bills were mailed to my grandmother's address in Texas. This should have mot happened.Desired Settlement: I would like the full amount that was taken from my debit card, if this issue is not able to be resolved I will be seeking legal advice from a lawyer. I don't want to have to go to a lawyer, but if I have to I will.

Review: I'm filing this complaint because September 11th my cable tv was not getting a signal,my condo had been tented for 3 days.When I first called they said they didn't have any tech who could come out until September 17th.I spoke to several different people but no one ever said a tech could come out before the 17th.In calling numerous times and speaking to supervisors,they all had different stories,one supervisor told me he didn't even see the sept 17th appt and they had one on the 22nd.Then one supervisor credited my account in total $18.58 cents,that's for five days being out of service,and.weds will be the 7th day.Also the service charge is $49 just for coming out.I found this unacceptable and it didn't make me feel like a valuable customer.Desired Settlement: I want restitution,I am a senior citizen and I live alone,the tv is all the company I have and I been without cable since Thursday Sept. 11th.It was just to unacceptable they didn't have a available tech in 7 days,and I'm concerned that they won't show up weds.for all this trouble They credit $18.58 to my account,I think they need to waive my whole account for the month of September or do more than $18.58,and they need to waive the service fees"
